I suggest everyone read not only Rom1 but all of Romans until they can clearly see that Calvinism's "gospel" is a counterfeit & their doctrines heretical & blasphemous. The bible teaches this:1) Man is born separated from God & cannot & will not seek Him on his own 2)God has supplied a way back to Himself thru Christ 3)intervenes in each person's life & convicts them of sin and 4)calls them to repentance 5) those who CHOOSE to obey are then regenerated in Christ. THAT's the genuine gospel.
FOR ALL: My suggestion is to pay attention to the video and take heed to what is being taught but forget about JackMWolfe. He is as his name reveals, a wolf.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Eph.2
graceexplosion, one question,, how can you love the God you bieve in? one that set the conditions for man to fail. locked them into failure before birth, gave them commands he knew they could not keep, comanded them to repent when they can not repent, has the ability to save all and doesnt, then condems all to hell for eternal suffering? What you describe is Satan not Jesus Christ. you and all calvanists are deceived just like eve was.
@TheHellbinder How is that any different than what Arminians say? Even Arminians believe that the wrath of God abides on those that don't believe. What about those who don't hear the gospel? Is God unjust because they didn't get the chance to hear the gospel? The responsibility still falls upon us. The issue isn't predestination, the issue is our unwillingness to love God on our own. I promise you that election is taught throughout the scriptures. I PRAISE GOD for election.
@crem004 Pure ignorance. 1st, Rom1 is about those who have no access to the gospel - God has given everyone a measure of light, even if it's as little as the witness of creation & their own conscience & those who respond to it will be saved. No one is condemned by light they don't have available to them.2nd, election is taught in the scriptures - it just has nothing to do with Calvinism's perverted & blasphemous definition.
@JackMWolfe - Jack you, again, fail to exegete Romans. Every man is accountable before God. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. God chooses and saves some who are dead in sin. Some of us believe 1 Corintians 2:14, but apparently, you do not. FOR EVERYONE READING: JackMWolfe teaches salvation is faith + works. He believes that Sanctification is required for Salvation while God reveals that salvation is God's gift, saved by gracce through faith and THAT NOT OF OURSELVES.
graceexplosion, my son, you have a lot to learn. your passion is good but you have been taught many errors. read the scripture and let it say what it says. correct interpretation of the word requires a basic understanding of 3 principles. Litteral, figurative and Spiritual. All three are found in the Book and different sections have different emphasis but all are communicating the Heart of God. Learn of Jesus that you may see and let go.. and let the Holy spirit Open the word to you.
as i have stated before regarding these videos. this teacher and this chanel have litterally no understanding of scripture. they understand the letter but they totally lack the spirit and that is why they fail. God has ordained free will. We are evil because of evil choises. original sin is a complete fabrication and misunderstanding of scripture. Roimans 5 teaches exactly the opposite if you read it carefully. any study of historic christianity and judaism reveals the responsability of choice
I guess you misunderstood. I said that those, who believe in the TULIP gospel, must have been like demonic vampires BEFORE they were saved(?). I was actually trying to be nice, because when you read James 2:19, you read that devils BELIEVE and tremble. So YOU actually say that men are WORSE then demons, because they are unable even to believe while demons believe and tremble. So it is YOU who say that you WERE worse than a demon, BEFORE you were transformed. Would you care to explain?
@graceexplosion "They end up in hell becuz of their sin".. no, if you say Rom.9 is about Heaven & Hell, they end up in Hell "BEFORE they had done ANYTHING either good or bad in order that Gods purpose of ELECTION might continue" Rom.9:11, Esau was Hated by God and created as a "vessel of WRATH prepared for destruction in order to make known the riches of His Glory FOR vessels of mercy which He had prepared BEFOREHAND for Glory", Sin has NOTHING to do w/it, "Not by human will or exurtion"
@apollos6640 How do you forget that we are all conceived in sin since the fall from Adam and God sees that?? God did not forget that fact. Line upon line, precept upon precept. You cannot divorce a scripture from other scripture. All mankind fell in Adam. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Both Jacob and Esau were conceived in sin. The scripture states that all are already condemned through sin. God had mercy on Jacob by election. God did not have mercy on Esau.
@graceexplosion Romans 9 is basically about the rejection of the unbelieving Israel (symbolized by Esau here) and establishment of the new covenant in Christ (symbolized by Jacob). It speaks about justification by faith versus Old Testament sacrifices and works.
@gracexplosion exactly, in other words, you teach that people end up in Hell because they were predestined to by God, NOT because of Sin. This is why Atheists blaspheme the name of God, because like Eliphaz, you also speak wrongly of Him.
@apollos6640 They end up in hell becuz of their sin and becuz God predestined them vessels of wrath to destruction. Romans 9:21Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 1 Peter 2:9b They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.
@apollos "in other words, you teach that people end up in Hell because they were predestined to by God, NOT because of Sin"
Worse - he's teaching that God LURED Satan into tempting Adam & taking possession of him because there was no other way for God to destroy a spiritual being! Something definitely exploded in graceexplosion's brain but it had nothing to do with grace - a psychotic break from gulping down too much Kalvin Kool-aid! These have to be the last days - deception can't get worse
@graceexplosion when oh when will I meet a consistent calvinist... if most of mankind will not repent and believe, graceexplosion... WHO OR WHAT PREDESTINED THEM NOT TO REPENT AND BELIEVE? is your 'SOVEREIGN GOD' so powerful that he can't save all of human kind? Or is he so wretched that he doesn't want to? You have idolized a system of beliefs that blasphemes God.
@apollos6640 Predestination in this life is to election or reprobation. Eternal predestination is of all men to salvation . He does save all mankind. On the last day. He destroys Satan -- and destroys men body and soul according to the sinful nature. He destroys all evil. They come through the fire of the last day able to believe and are saved. His glorious plan. 1 Corinthians 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
@apollos6640 Election = Predestination. Election equals God's Sovereign choice before we are born. Romans 9:11(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) EVERYTHING happens by PREDESTINATION. Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Hey Mark, Stop interpreting the scriptures in the vaccum of Calvinism! Luke 11:9-10, 13 "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. "For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened. "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?"
Incorrect. The moral of Christian theology is that fallen man may still choose God despite their circumstances. The choice is what God is after. It's called repentance.
Does God also give us repentance? That would boarder on blasphemy. God only gives what he knows. Does God have faith? Does he repent?
What we're given is a promise of forgiven sins. Jesus experienced sin, not repentance or faith. He can't have faith in himself. How does God give us faith?
@knowwaie Of course God gives us repentance. Acts 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 2 Timothy 2:25
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
@graceexplosion True, but i don't think this is how it's meant. These verses are saying God gives them a new mind, which is understood. Does that mean that no one is able to repent without first being given that mind? There are also examples where God is telling people to repent.
What i'm saying is that there is some requirement on the part of the person to make a choice. This video is saying the opposite. Then it would seem if it is God's choice and he could save everyone had he wanted to.
@knowwaie The new mind we are given is the mind of Christ. Everything we receive in salvation -- as the Spirit comes into our hearts to reveal the Word -- is actually the Holy Spirit. We are spirit beings. When we receive the Holy Spirit -- we don't just receive an "external Spirit of God's Spirit 'controlling us'". We literally change and are born of that Spirit becoming a new person who is spirit not flesh. So, we have a new mind, a new will -- and we will differently. We change.
@knowwaie Part 2. Yes, God speaks to people. And then His Spirit enters people, who are His elect, and they change. They change because His Spirit entered them by Him speaking to them through His Word. God's Word, by the Spirit moving, is creative. For example, God spoke and the worlds were created. God spoke and there was light. When God said, "Let there be light" -- God was not expecting that light would hear Him and "choose" to be. God created it by Him speaking and commanding.
@knowwaie Part 3. So, when God commands people to repent -- God is not expecting that they will have power in and of themselves to hear Him -- and repent of their own volition without His Spirit creatively doing the work to cause them to repent. Did light "choose" to be -- because God said, "Let there be light" and there was light?? No, God created. We are children of light born of the Light. God speaks us into existence as a new creation. It's a matter of TIME in saving everyone.God bless
@graceexplosion "So, when God commands people to repent -- God is not expecting that they will have power in and of themselves to hear Him -- & repent of their own volition without His Spirit creatively doing the work to cause them to repent."
The city of Nineveh chose to repent & God never even told them to - they repented of their own free will having faith that God would change His mind about their destruction if they did. EVERYTHING you've posted is unbiblical gibberish - pure heresy.
@JackMWolfe It is heresy for you to pretend that God did not call the Ninevites to repent. HE SENT JONAH to them to shoutthat the city would be destroyed. They had witnessed the WHALE SPEW JONAH ONTO THE SHORE. God sent the whale. God sent Jonah to preach to the Ninevites. God is Sovereign and orchestrated the whole thing. And in so doing, gave POWER to the Ninevites to fear God and repent. The only place "free will" is found in scripture is in Satan promising Eve free will. Lie.
@graceexplosion The heresy here is YOUR claim that God allowed Adam & Eve to be tested beyond their ability to resist & that He doesn't effectualy call ALL men to repentance as with Nineveh - that He gives FAKE calls to some which He doesn't give the ability to obey & then casts them into hell for refusing to obey! You're an apostate promoting a false, limited gospel (Repent, for Christ MIGHT have died for you) which is condemned by Gal1:7-9, & you're guilty of blaspheming God's character.
@JackMWolfe Friend, you make false charges. You impugn falsely not only me, but God. God is clearly in control of all things and Sovereign. All things happen by His Sovereign Predestinate counsel. I'm going to email you perhaps. Do you know the wisdom and counsel of God?? Satan was created a spirit being and THOUGHT he was indestructible because he was created in a spiritual body. If you knew all things, perhaps you would know that God lured Satan into Adam's body to destroy him
@graceexplosion Friend, you make false charges. You impugn falsely not only me, but God... God lured Satan into Adam's body to destroy him"
My friends are those who hear God's word & obey it, not those who preach a false, limited gospel & blaspheme God by claiming He 1)allows people to be tested beyond their ability to resist 2)creates helpless people for the sole purpose of casting them into hell & 3)"LURED Satan to possess Adam" because He was otherwise powerless to destroy him! Lunacy!
@JackMWolfe You know, people POSTURE themselves as Christians in a feigned sense of horror resisting the concept that God actually sits on the Throne ruling over His creation. They move to attack Christians who have the ability by grace to submit to God. Often, these ppl are not even saved. I doubt sincerely you're even born-again the way you attack ppl and refuse to review scripture. I think you're most likely a false Christian sent by Satan to attack real Christians. Not born-again.
@JackMWolfe For those Christians who go to the Word of God, God in His own Sovereign power ALLOWED Satan into the Garden of Eden. God ALLOWED Satan to tempt Adam and Eve and enter their bodies. The scripture is clear that then God came in human flesh appearing, and Jesus died on the cross. By dying a death in this flesh -- he destroyed Satan. CLEARLY, God's Sovereign plan revealed to TRUE born-again Christians. (Of which, I DOUBT thus "Jack" is.)
@JackMWolfe To true Christians, this FALSE CHRISTIAN (Jack) who contemptuously reviles the death of Jesus on the cross -- MOCKS at the idea that Jesus Christ came in human flesh as God to destroy Satan. (Obviously, this was God's plan ALL ALONG to destroy Satan - and Jack MOCKS.) Hebrews 2:14Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
@graceexplosion The only thing being "mocked" here is your unbiblical rubbish. You claim that God allowed Adam & Eve to be tempted beyond their ability to resist which contradicts 1Cor10:13, & that He did so to "lure" Satan into possessing Adam because there was no other way He could destroy a spiritual being! Now you label those who reject such unbiblical hogwash as false Christians who are themselves possessed by & speaking by Satan too! Something did explode in your brain - but not grace!
@JackMWolfe There are many who come into the Christian church pretending to be Christians. They reject the Word of God. Hebrews 2:14Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (THE HOLY WORD states that Jesus destroyed Satan by taking on human flesh and dying on the cross. You are NOT A CHRISTIAN. he Word of God you cannot hear.)
@JackMWolfe The fact that you speak ONE SCRIPTURE and completely twist it, and discount the REST of the Word of God does not mean you are a CHRISTIAN. Satan himself takes the Word of God and TWIST IT OBFUSCATING the rest of the Word which disproves what Satan is teaching. The rage in you is the rage of Satan against God ruling on His Throne. Your contempt is for God Himself as our Sovereign Creator and Him who sits on the Throne -- and who destroyed Satan on the cross. U hate Jesus.)
@JackMWolfe 1 Cor 10:13 is speaking to BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIANS who are in the BODY OF JESUS CHRIST WHO IS GOD. Adam and Eve were IN BODIES CREATED OF THE EARTH AND DUST. The BODY OF JESUS CHRIST IS ARISEN IN GLORIFICATION -- AND WILL NEVER SIN -- FOR JESUS IS GOD. You make ADAM the EQUAL OF GOD. YOU MAKE ADAM'S BODY MADE OF EARTH equal to the BODY OF CHRIST ARISEN IN GLORIFICATION AS GOD WHICH WILL NEVER SIN. Youclaim Adam is the equal of God and the created the equal of the Creator. Apostacy!
@JackMWolfe This CONTEMPT for JESUS CHRIST as God is Satan!! Reprobate!! Apostate!! 1 Cor. 10:13 shows the PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS -- not through their own SELVES in POWER -- but in having been BORN AGAIN INTO the RISEN GLORIFIED BODY OF JESUS CHRIST WHICH WILL NEVER SIN!! IMMUTABLE!! UNCHANGING!! THE ANCHOR OF OUR CHRISTIAN FAITH AND OUR PERSEVERANCE - THAT JESUS CHRIST WHO IS GOD IS RISEN!! We are members of HIS BODY. JESUS CHRIST you hate. IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS not man in the flesh
@graceexplosion I see - it all makes perfect sense now that you've explained it in such fine detail, thanks for sharing. I'm curious - are you now or have you ever been associated with a penal institution or mental health facility?
@JackMWolfe Any Christian who reads this thread will see you are a reprobate apostate. The spirit of the devil speaks through you constantly in his spirit of HATE for Jesus Christ, his MOCKERY AND CONTEMPT for the word of God as he exalts himself. Your spirit speaks loudly and clearly. You HATE the fact that God is in His Throne. Satan in you wants that throne for himself - and seeks to set man upon it thus throning himself. You reject the cross of Jesus destroying Satan and mock the Word
@graceexplosion One of us is indeed a reprobate & guilty of blaspheming the Holy Spirit - an UNFORGIVEABLE sin. To onlookers: the issues surrounding the A/C debate are NOT minor, this is not an "in house debate" - these are diametrically opposite, irreconcilable beliefs & there can be no genuine fellowship between the adherents. Calvinism has a limited gospel condemned by Gal1:7-9, blasphemes God's character, & those who persist in it, refusing to repent, will end up blaspheming the Spirit.
@JackMWolfe Guess it's obvious to true Christians which one that would be. You. You deny that salvation is by the blood of Jesus Christ. You instead state that salvation is through works, faith in man, self, and power to "strongarm" one's way into Heaven by "human will". Now, when you say that you saved yourself by "human will" -- what you mean is you saved yourself by "human intellect". All Christians born-again know that an intellectual salvation is not la real salvation.
@explosion You're a liar. Salvation is only by Christ's sacrifice, but it's a gift which must be accepted in order to be efficacious. Any believer who knows their bible will recognize your limited gospel is false (Repent, for Christ MIGHT have died for you) & that you blaspheme God by claiming He creates helpless people for the sole purpose of casting them into hell. They'll also recognize your Satanic fruit - lying, blasphemy, manipulating the Word, falsely accusing, etc.- a filthy apostate.
@graceexplosion It is NOT about some totally deprived randomly elected people, who were, automatically and by no will of their own whatsoever, transformed into believers (without having ever believed) and by no consent of their own, persevere in faith. This sounds like a story of a miraculous transformation of demonic vampires.
@sonoffalconqueen What do you think "grace" means?? It is unmerited favor. We who do believe did NOT believe. Faith doesn't happen by "will". Try talking to a rock and making it "will" to become a son of God. But if you read the Bible the Bible will tell you that God is able, if HE CHOOSES, to take a rock and make it a son of God. See, you can be dumb as a rock, and hard as a rock, and on your way to murder Christians like Saul, And God can save you by HIS WILL.
@graceexplosion Throughout the Bible there were people who believed… Abraham, Rahab the harlot in James 2:23-26… they were sinners yet believed… How come you did not?
@sonoffalconqueen What did they believe in?? Man and his godhood?? His power of free will?? What "gospel" is it that preaches of man and man's inherent goodness and his great power to sin?? You know when you say "free will" -- all you mean is power to resist God's will and to do one's own will contrary to God's will. It's sin and the spirit of the devil. The term "free will" is a misnomer. Just call it "Satan's will". So, what "religion" is centered in man and "satan's will"? Satanism.
@sonoffalconqueen Are you even a Christian?? You think becoming a son of God = demonic vampires?? Are you a satanist?? That's a very evil view of us becoming children of light born of God. We have a completely new spirit -- and are spirits as persons. As persons we have wills consistent with our spirits. God is Spirit. He has a will. He is a Person. Likewise, when He births/creates a new spirit children of His, we are full persons with wills -- at conception in regeneration.
@JackMWolfe PART 2 It never occurred to you that what God did in the Garden of Eden was not about Adam and Eve as central... that God had other plans. That the plan was to destroy Satan... by luring him into the bodies of Adam and Eve which were made of the earth. Jesus Christ destroyed Satan per Hebrews 2:14 by coming into a human body and dying to death and destroying thereby him who held the power of death -- that is the devil. What do you know about WHY GOD ALLOWED ADAM AND EVE TO FALL??
@JackMWolfe Part 3. You cannot believe the gospel unless GOD GRANTS YOU THE GRACE TO BELIEVE!! And if you do not believe -- then you are consigned to hell until such time as the return of Jesus Christ when Satan is destroyed and your flesh is destroyed along with the first creation. All of this God destroyed by the power of Jesus going to the cross. The plan of God is to destroy Satan and all evil on the last day -- and save all coming through the fire - Mr; LIMITED GOSPEL. You are in error
God did move first but he want all people to come to Him. God set up a Method to come and be restored to God as his children. God did this first and called one, two, maybe three to Him or does God call ALL? That is the question. The condition to get lined up with God's Method is our human choice. It is like a ride at the fair. Anyone can go on the ride. Some like the ride, others do not. So did the ride owner set up some to ride and others not? God built the ride and want all to ride.
Type this on G bar i p e r t i s a l i t h i a s . g r / p a g e 5 . (without spaces in between)and click on the 1st one on top, then read: How not to fall into Calvinism's deception.
Joh 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. (Not "cannot come", but will not.)
These were just a few ofthemany that destroy "Total depravity". The preacher is not telling the truth.Calvinism is demonic. It is the Devil/Liar who tries to hide or destroythe fact that man isstill in God'sspiritual Image after the fall, although burdened with sin.The 2foldpurpose is to make you think that youcan live in sin&be saved or that you are not saved. You’ve beeninformed.Thankyouforyourtime.
Although now there is no need to get into the faith comes before being born again bit, I will add a "sample": Act 17:30 = All men!! Are all men born again? :)
Joh1:11-13 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. (why the complaint?)12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,but of God.
Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (A child can be humble and a man can do the same.)
Mat 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good
things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
(This verse as well was provided by The Spirit to expose "Total depravity" and Calvinism a the false teaching they are.)
1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Gen 4:5-7 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. 6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?
More "samples" about man's freedom, and ability unto good:
2Sa22:23-26 For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. 24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity. 25 Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight. 26 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
The passages he uses are out of context. Read them on your own. mentioning passages that refer to the flesh is just ignorance. Man has not only the mind of flesh, man has the spirit (not talking about The H.S.). Man's inward man is the law of the mind (this is the spirit):Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Tsk tsk I hate videos like these. I too also believe in the sovereignty of God but its things liek these that cause dissension in the Chruch. I mean IM hearing Christians on both camps cursing and disrespecting one another based on this topic. Man you guys on both camps who continue to argue with ur pride built up need to stop and find humility. We can all agree on this. Christ died for sinners from every tribe nation and tongue and we have been givin a new covenant new circumcision. Amen
@JackMWolfe... The most Difficult person to reach, isn't the Drunk, or the Drug-abuser, or the Porn-addict, but those of the Laodecian party, the Self-Righteous, Prideful ones.
You have to be a Narcissist to think that God only loves YOU, your ELECT brothers and Hates the rest of the World. Here is some Calvinism humor that simplyfies exactly what's in the hearts of these men, "Jesus loves me, this I know, because he HATES you, don't you know? Jesus Loves me this I Know, because he CHOSE me, and let you Go."
@JackMWolfe... it appears to me that Christians bring people to Christ, then Calvinists infiltrate their Church, create division, show the sheep some Proof-texts then attempt to Convert the Converted. In the end leaving the individual in a worse condition, now left with PRIDE and callous-hearted to non-believers... I know I'm right, some of them have confessed to being "Converted Arminians" by simply saying, "I used to be like you, an Arminian, until I discovered the SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD"...
@apollos Yes, I actually think Calvinism is a judgment against those who have been disobedient to the sanctification process God originally had for them. Calvinism provides an excuse for remaining unrepentant, justification for laziness, & false security as well - they become like syrens camped at the edge of the Promised Land, not obediently going in themselves & calling out to passers-by to come join them in a much easier path than responsible discipleship - the "God-does-it-all" plan.
@JackMWolfe Well thats a bit too much. I believe that God when he has a plan it always comes through. How can I trust him if his plans werent trustworthy. When Christ says he loves us as much as the Father loves him I cannot see him throwing those same ones he says loves as much as that in the full wrath of Hell. Now growing in my faith and looking at my sinful past and seeing it affirmed in scripture I saw that Christ continued to chase me in my natural state. But like I said we cant let this
@africanboybkman seperate us as a Church. We are all untied by tthe truth that Christ loved us soo much that he has died for our sins and given us eternal life for free. Soo let us rejoice in that truth and come together under the head in meekness and humility and love
@africanboybkman "I believe that God when he has a plan it always comes through"
God always fulfills HIS part of any promise or covenant He makes with man but they are ALL conditioned on obedience & faith. A full & complet Salvation has been supplied to man by the completed work of Christ, the only thing man must do is choose to turn from his own ways & receive it by faith. That's the simple gospel found throughout the scriptures but Calvinists deny it for a false gospel & a counterfeit "god"
@JackMWolfe I mean then is it really complete then? Well who knows if we'll ever come together on that aspect but it should not cause seperation. I never denied that I chose Christ I just believe he chose me before I chose him. Like scripture says. I did love darkness I did hate light. And because I hated the light I would not come to it. So what makes me any different from the guy who refuses to accept Christ? I believe nothing. Because just like like I was he too loves the darkness and will
@africanboybkman not come to the light. I believe I was in the same condition as the man who refuses to accept Christ. I dont believe I had enough good to choose the marvellous light if I truly did hate the light and love darkness. So I put my complete thnx to Christ for my salvation. But like I said we may have a difference of views. But Christ does not reveal all knowledge to every believer in this world but lets just pray that we continue to grow in the glories of Christ. God bless
@africanboybkman Of course God chooses us 1st, we will never choose Him on our own. It's a work of the Holy Spirit to convict us of our sin & need for a Savior. God must even give men the faith to believe but that doesn't negate the fact that they can reject His call & instead die in their sins. The reason men do so is because they want to have the fleeting pleasures of sin & the things of the world rather than the things of God - like Esau, they trade their inheritance for a bowl of soup.
@JackMWolfe... or as Ultra-Scholar and soon to be Double PhD, and Quadruple MASTERS achiever (or something like it) Mark Kielar would say, "you might be a possible FALSE CONVERT" if you think you had a CHOICE is receiving Gods GIFT of Eternal Life, through Jesus Christ.
@apollos I think progress is being made when it's shown that the 2 camps are opposite belief systems that can't be reconciled. Part of the Calvinist's strategy is to put a thin veneer of orthodoxy on their aberrant beliefs - as the old saying, getting their nose under the tent. So it acually helps when they come out & flatly condemn those who believe in free will as being unsaved - it shows there can be no genuine fellowship between the adherents, they have divergent doctrines & different Gods.
@JackMWolfe... why are you quoting James 2, or 1 Cor.10, or Hebrews 3 or 4 ? There's nothing in there about the SOVEREIGNTY of God, you're not teaching the SOVEREIGNTY of God, you should be more like CBALLEN and try to give more Glory to God by trying to Police the SOVEREIGNTY of God. God's WILL for the ELECT is teach the non-existence of FREE WILL, than unless you believe that you had NO CHOICE in accepting Gods FREE GIFT, you're robbing God of His SOVEREIGNTY and thus not one of the ELECT.
So man has no choice to choose right from wrong? Was it Eve that chose to eat of the forbidden fruit or did God make her do it? James 1:13-14 says that God does not tempt men with sin but that a person is drawn away by their OWN lusts and desires to sin. In other words, God does not choose sin for us, we choose it for ourselves because of our own choice. If God didn't give us freewill, then in affect God would be choosing it for us by creating us which contridicts James 1:13-14
But some say righteousness must be vindicated by works to prove faith real. This is addition this side of the cross.Just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works. Rom 3:6 Many now say righteousness is not imputed unless works follow. This is heresy.! An addition of law after the cross. James had no intention in his teaching. Righteousness is exclusively given by Christ with no future necessity for validation. If so works law are back
@polopowers Justification is by faith but we are saved UNTO good works - these are part of the sanctification process & they are a VITAL part of salvation which is shown not only by verses such as Jam2, 14, 17, & 24 but by parables such as the Sower & the seed & the Talents.
@JackMWolfe Unto good works cannot app;y to all so it would be exclusive. Some of God's elect cannot do good works. But beside that Christ is not validateted by works He alone satisfys God not Him and works. That is false theology. Blessed is the man God imputes righteousness apart from works
@polopowers Wrong. Justification is imputed to man by faith without works but ALL those who are thus saved are also called unto good works ie, sanctification. Read Eph2:10 until you grasp this. Paul also says the same thing in 1Cor10 & Hebrews chapter 3&4 - the 1st generation of Israelites forfeited their salvation by refusing to do the works God had predestined for them. And Jesus said,"Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of God but those who DO the will of My Father"
you say "isn't it rather ilogical for you to kill them"just in case"they might someday choose to stop following Him?"if that believer will spend an eternity in hell Absolutely Not! if by your claim Rev.3:5- Jesus can erase our name from the book of life, well lets just die now as a believer before the devil tricks us. Now do you see the belief that a true Christan can give up his/her Salvation just doesn't stand? John1:3children born not of natural descent, human decision or will, but born of God
@MovieBumonTwitter According to Calvinism, if they choose to later fall away then it was God's will that they do so, they were never genuine believers, right? And why do you say I'M the one claiming someone's name can be removed from the Book of Life? It was JESUS who warned the apostates in Sardis to repent or their names would be removed. Man's free will is involved in the salvation process from start to finish - YOU chose to drift into apostasy & heresy yourself, you chose spiritual suicide.
God did his part in preparing a kingdom that all mankind can choose to enter into
Man must do his part to believe on Christ and live obediently to him.
Man can not do God part and God will not do man's part.
Saved is to become a child of the King, a Christian an heir, Paul talks to the heirs of not receiving the kingdom of God (the eternal hope/reward) if Christians continue in willful sin and disobedience.
Paul can not talk to the world of an inheritance, non-Christians are not heirs.
Is it possible for redeemed people to lose their salvation? The Bible says, "No!" One who is saved "has everlasting life, and ... is passed from death unto life" (John 5:24). (Romans 8:28-39) (Jude 24) (Philippians 1:6). Even true Christians can sin, (Psalm 51:12). A failure to grow spiritually can also rob us of the confidence that we are God's children (2 Peter 1:9). But anyone indwelt by the Holy Spirit is secure eternally (Ephesians 1:14).
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. - Revelation 22:17
As much as I like Mark's teachings, I disagree with his interpretation of Jn.3:16 for simple reasons. John Macarthur, who Kielar has on his show at time even states that God loves the world as in the whole of humanity. Bible scholar A.T. Robertson states this on Jn.3:16, "The world (ton kosmon). The whole cosmos of men, including Gentiles, the whole human race. This universal aspect of God’s love appears also in 2Co_5:19; Rom_5:8. "
Mark Kielar is a sharp bible teacher, but not infallible.
This is utter heresy. It just becomes more and more obvious to me that full calvanists are no different than mormons or any other cult. This guy is a heretic, and anyone who follows this kind of teaching is a member of a heretical group. I dont see how you can actually be saved, or born again believing a false Gospel like this and beleving in a false misrepresentation of God. Its pretty incredible how sad this is and how blind people are who believe this junk.
Then how can an unregenerate heart repent? How does man repent from the position of depravity? He cannot,it is impossible. Repentance therefore is a gift of the Spirit not prior to salvation or this speaker contradicts himself.
that sadest thing about this kind of thinking is that it utterly shames God whome they claim to serve and Love. yet they believe that God is obsessed with His own authority and His own Glory. they do not know God or His Heart. They take a few verses and ignore many others or use a few verses to change the meaning of others. It is a sad, sad thing. The true biblical Gospel results in LOVE that is gentle and full of Mercy that leads to obedience in gentileness. This theology is Void of Love.
We do know that some of the factors that go into Gods "pre ordained choices" are based on our prayer, our love for others as well as Gods desires. It is Gods will that ALL MEN BE SAVED. That is an absolute statement of fact. not altered by some foolish peoples interpretation of some verses. We are to seek to save and disciple the WHOLE WORLD realizing that God is partnering with us and leading us to accomplish that. These guys are utterly devoid of Gods wisdom. It is they who are blind by satan.
@TheHellbinder If it is God's will that "ALL" men be saved, then why is not all men being saved? If God decrees that it is His will that all men be saved, then it is suppose to come to pass! So either that is true or you are mistaken in your theological view. The Scripture tell's us that the natural man "CANNOT" concieve the thing's of God, because they are spiriturally discerned (1 Cor.2:14). It is obvious that you cannot understand the Scritprues you read. You must be "BORN AGAIN" (Jn.3:5).
@foreverinchrist1 You know there are more scriptures in the bible than that? and they are also to be understood in context. not taken out and wrapped around someones heretical ideas. The answer to your question is self evident. God wants all to be saved but all will not believe. You need to read more scripture, and put away your calvinist text books. 1 cor is not talking about the salvation message. you have a twisted view of God and a complete lack of understanding.
@TheHellbinder If God wants all men to be saved, then why are not all men being saved? Since when did man have the ablity to save himself? The Scripture tell us that no one seeks God or want God (Ro.3:11). So you tell me, unless God elect's to salvation none would ever be saved (Jn.6:65; Eph 1:4,5). That is why salvation is a gift and not something that can be earned (Eph.2:8,9). So then it is only those that are chosen by the Father that will ever be saved (Jn 6:37).
reformed theology is litterally straight from the pit of Hell. It takes the nature of satan in imputes it to God and people are blind to that fact. this doctrine is not pauline either. Paul firmly taught the gospel of grace to the WOLE WORLD. when paul talk about Gods choice of men its to comfort them and ressure them. those scriptures were NEVER intened to be used the way they are. Gods choices are made by many factors we dont even know all of its not an arbitrary decision.
This isn't Christian, it's "Paulian". Everything he quotes is from Paul. Paul was a self appointed apostle. He never met Jesus except in a vision. But there were no witnesses. Maybe he made the whole thing up. Paul's doctrines differ greatly with Jesus and the Nazarenes. Paul never quotes Jesus. He only quotes himself.
God chooses us. He sends the holy spirit to us all at one point or another in our lives. Free will. we have the choice to accept or regect it. and blasphemy of the holy ghost is the only unforgivable sin. We also have free will to sin. We are not controlled by it any longer but choose to do it.
Paul said that he came to preach the gospel, not to baptize: "I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, so no one can say that you were baptized into my name. (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don't remember if I baptized anyone else.) For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel..." (1 Cor. 1:14-17).
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
Eph 2:4-10
I know you hate us, TOTH, but please read these Scriptures carefully and if you read them with an open heart and mind, it is clear that God first regenerated us so we could believe.
If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you have been saved - and raised up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages He might show the immeasurable riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
The whole of the scriptures state that man has a sin problem. That problem has to be solved by God alone as man cannot help himself, salvation is by grace (God's work) through faith, faith when it is real is active, it is not alone in the sense of being an intellectual assent only, it produces a new life, that is what James is saying in the context
May I ask what Jesus means when he gives the parable of the Good Samaritan? Let us remember the Samaritans were of mixed religion, and is compared to two men of faith, a priest and a Levite. Which one does Jesus point out as the true follower?
Works come naturally after God has given us a NEW Birth. After raw materials have been fashioned into a COKE MACHINE,it dispenses COKES,it didn't dispense cokes to become a COKE machine.Does that kinda make sense?
@CBALLEN If after its been fashioned to dispense Coke and it doesn't dispense Coke and it can't be fixed then it is good for nothing more than to be melted down in the fire!
Christians become heirs of God, non-Christians are not heirs of God: Paul told bona fide Christians "heirs" that they would not inherit the kingdom of God if they continue to live in unrighteousness.
Christians have an eternal HOPE that means its only "possible" to receive the reward not guaranteed: all can receive Christ.
@JoBernard12oxen Joe,eternal life, belief, faith, repentance, grace, justification, sanctification and Glorification(not in this order) are all gifts from God to us,not gifts we give to God.God saves us and makes us HIS children while we are yet sinners, for His good pleasure alone and as His children,He will spank us when we sin,but He'll never send us to Hell.
@CBALLEN You can not make the point "He'll never send us to Hell" until you prove that Christians "the heirs of God" can not forfeit their inheritance, Paul told Christians, heirs of God they would not inherit the kingdom of God (the eternal hope of life with Christ) if they continue in unrighteousness. I would be a fool to listen to anything else, and you can not and I repeat, you can not prove that heirs of God were not told they would be rejected if they continue in willful sin. U can not
@JoBernard12oxen John 6: 37,44,65 all make it clear that it is the Father who chooses who comes to Christ and 100% of those called to the Son are then saved and kept until their Glorification. When the Bible speaks of one who believes the gospel being saved, this is 100% true, but belief is the result and confirmation of being born again, not a means to it.Those who God saves are even granted repentance as part of their sanctification and even though this is God's doing,it's what we most want to do.
@CBALLEN Joe,the Elect were God's chosen people before the world began Eph 1:4-12 and as God calls His own, they will come.If you look at Acts 13:48 you'll see it says ...as many as were APPOINTED to eternal life, believed,so unless a person is appointed to eternal life by God first,he will never be saved. Also Rev.13:8 makes it clear that people not written in the Lamb's book of life before time WILL worship the Beast, this also means those who were written there before time WON'T do it,the elect.
@CBALLEN Refuted misinterpretations. 1st,God indeed chooses & predestines but that doesn't negate the fact that man can reject His call & instead choose to die in his sins. 2nd, men are appointed to eternal life by CHOOSING to obey God's voice & repent 3rd, Rev13:8 says THE BOOK was from the foundation of the earth NOT the names - they are added as decisions are made for Christ. 4th, the names can be REMOVED for apostasy(Rev3:5), which refutes Calvinism anyway. Your own cited verses refute you!
@JackMWolfe All natural men reject God's call to repentance, that's a given,it's God's effectual call to His Elect that's never fails to save.My SHEEP hear my voice and come when called. The people who hear and never come are the Goats, these are the pots fitted to destruction.
@CBALLEN Blaspehmous nonsense. ALL men are "natural men" born separated frrom God under Adam's condemnation, and God calls them ALL to repentance. He doesn't issue a Fake call to some of them while withholding the ability for them to respond - secretly wanting them to decline it because He actually intends to destroy them. Your gospel is "Repent for Christ MIGHT have died for you" & it's condemned by Gal1:7-9. The TRUE gospel is found in Acts17:29-30 - Paul says it's for ALL people EVERYWHERE.
@JackMWolfe Open theism denies God knew Adam and Eve would sin and Jesus being chosen for a Savior only happened after Adam and Eve sinned.Open Theism teaches God does not know all the future and makes mistakes, they teach God is ignorant of what man will do and He must wait to see what man will do next before He can make His plans, restricting God's will and making man the only truly free creature in the universe. So God has no free will ,His will is decided by all mighty man.Blasphemy.
@CBALLEN You ignore truth like all the false prophets before you, all false prophets proclaim God's people will never be condemned of him regardless of what they do, all false prophets say we are God's chosen and he will protect and keep us and never condemn us. So shall you have a false prophets reward, greater punishment than those that never knew the way of truth. You ignored the fact that God threatened the heirs of not receiving their inheritance if they continue in sin, they have a choice.
@JoBernard12oxen I see,you believe in sinless perfectionism, your good works keeps you saved.People who only think they are saved will go to Hell, those who God has saved never go to Hell.
@CBALLEN "People who only think they are saved will go to Hell, those who God has saved never go to Hell."
Do you believe Christ was giving an empty warning to the believers in Sardis that their names would be removed from the book of life if they refused to repent of their apostasy (Rev3:5)?
@CBALLEN I see in Rev3 that those who haven't "soiled their clothes" & "are worthy & deserving" will walk with Christ in white, but the question is about those who Christ says are "dead" & don't have even one work that's "perfect in God's sight" - Is Christ's warning that their names will be ERASED from the Book of Life if they don't repent just an empty threat? Answer Yes or No. You've also run away from Lk7:30, Ex6:6-8, & the story of Cain for WEEKS - doesn't your cowardice ever bother you?
@JackMWolfe If it were possible that true converted Christians could one day lose their faith in Jesus and walk away in apostasy then the most logical thing to do would be to shoot you in the back of the head before allowing you to risk losing your faith while living another day in this devil ruled world. Now, logically speaking, that would be the most compassionate thing a fellow brother in Christ could do for you. life is short, hell is forever... need a hand?
@MovieBumonTwitter 1st, if someone is now following Christ isn't it rather illogical for you to kill them "just in case" they might someday choose to stop following Him? 2nd, Christ told His angels to let the wheat & tares grow together until the harvest because it's too difficult for anyone but God to distinguish the genuine from the false - those you think are genuine might not truly be following Christ & vice versa. 3rd, have you ever been diagnosed with dementia or had a head injury?
@CBALLEN I see, and the rest of the world sees that you are avoiding the question at hand, why have you avoided the question? because you have absolutely no answer in the face of biblical truth. Your answers prove you are rotten to the core and there is no passion for truth in you; only a passion to spread your lies.
Let it be know to all the world to the endless ages forevermore CBALLEN has no answer for the truth and his views are all talk no scripture, you represent all false prophets.
You got great ways in presenting the truth, just quite sad to know that you are not using the King James Bible AV 1611. It's also doctrine, and that doctrine was a promise of God in Psalms 12:6-7. Hope you would know more about what man did with this modern versions today. God still has a perfect book. And that is also to be accepted by fatih - but there are also facts to explain it. :)
Salvation by faith. Faith through hearing. No man will achieve righteousness from works and deeds. If that were possible, then Jesus died in vain. Don't put the "cart before the horse". You must (First) increase your faith. Your faith in Christ will give you a natural, uncompelled desire to follow the law. Don't listen to the Pharisees of our time... they are simply wrong.
Paul makes up alot of teachings that make people think that there is no such thing as a righteous person..and that we're all in the same boat. Reality depicts another picture. It makes sense that Paul would want people to think that 'everyone is the same', because Paul was a murderer. He had innocent blood on his hands, and in order for the naive to follow him, he'd have to convince them that 'there's no such thing as a righteous person'.
Jesus said no man can come to me unless the father who sent me draw him ' meaning we cant even believe he is the messiah unless God reveals it to us and we accept him' then he said ALL that the father giveth to me i shall lose NOTHING ' meaning ALL every any whosoever' He is the author and finisher of our faith ' he started it and will finish it . It says its IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie so if he loses a Christian after promising he wont lose any' then he is a liar without any possible excuse ever.
I love that. I was tired the other day, didn't have any work to do and decided to lay down for a little snooze. In my head I heard that guy say, "Turn to the way of the ant you sluggard......a little sleep.... a little slumber...a little folding of the hands...and poverty will come on you like a bandit.....I think it came from the Good Steward set....had to laugh when I saw your post....Maybe the Holy Spirit sounds like that too.....hmmm
Read Scripture clearly and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you. Don't come to the Word with your truth and make the Word say what you want it to say. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." Where in that verse does it say that "Christ died for all." My guess is that your answer will be because "world" is in the verse. Go read every verse that contains the same Greek word translated "world" - "kosmos"
Christ died for all but as many that choose to believe will be saved. Isaiah 53 also talks about paying the sins of "many" because not all will believe.
@JackMWolfe "When did it SALVATION become Faith through Grace"?
When did it ever become "salvation by PREDESTINATION, through ELECTION" because that's what these DECEIVERS are teaching.
Even there proposed "refutation" is REFUTED by Acts 15:11 ESV
But we BELIEVE [FAITH] that we will be SAVED THROUGH the GRACE of the Lord Jesus, just as they will."

THAT's the genuine gospel.

graceexplosion, one question,, how can you love the God you bieve in? one that set the conditions for man to fail. locked them into failure before birth, gave them commands he knew they could not keep, comanded them to repent when they can not repent, has the ability to save all and doesnt, then condems all to hell for eternal suffering? What you describe is Satan not Jesus Christ. you and all calvanists are deceived just like eve was.
TheHellbinder 6 months ago
@TheHellbinder How is that any different than what Arminians say? Even Arminians believe that the wrath of God abides on those that don't believe. What about those who don't hear the gospel? Is God unjust because they didn't get the chance to hear the gospel? The responsibility still falls upon us. The issue isn't predestination, the issue is our unwillingness to love God on our own. I promise you that election is taught throughout the scriptures. I PRAISE GOD for election.
crem004 1 month ago

TheHellbinder 6 months ago
as i have stated before regarding these videos. this teacher and this chanel have litterally no understanding of scripture. they understand the letter but they totally lack the spirit and that is why they fail.

@graceexplosion "They end up in hell becuz of their sin".. no, if you say Rom.9 is about Heaven & Hell, they end up in Hell "BEFORE they had done ANYTHING either good or bad in order that Gods purpose of ELECTION might continue" Rom.9:11, Esau was Hated by God and created as a "vessel of WRATH prepared for destruction in order to make known the riches of His Glory FOR vessels of mercy which He had prepared BEFOREHAND for Glory", Sin has NOTHING to do w/it, "Not by human will or exurtion"
apollos6640 7 months ago
@apollos6640 How do you forget that we are all conceived in sin since the fall from Adam and God sees that?? God did not forget that fact. Line upon line, precept upon precept. You cannot divorce a scripture from other scripture. All mankind fell in Adam. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Both Jacob and Esau were conceived in sin. The scripture states that all are already condemned through sin. God had mercy on Jacob by election. God did not have mercy on Esau.
graceexplosion 7 months ago
@graceexplosion Romans 9 is basically about the rejection of the unbelieving Israel (symbolized by Esau here) and establishment of the new covenant in Christ (symbolized by Jacob). It speaks about justification by faith versus Old Testament sacrifices and works.
sonoffalconqueen 6 months ago
@gracexplosion exactly, in other words, you teach that people end up in Hell because they were predestined to by God, NOT because of Sin. This is why Atheists blaspheme the name of God, because like Eliphaz, you also speak wrongly of Him.
apollos6640 7 months ago

You have idolized a system of beliefs that blasphemes God.
apollos6640 7 months ago
@apollos6640 Predestination in this life is to election or reprobation. Eternal predestination is of all men to salvation . He does save all mankind. On the last day. He destroys Satan -- and destroys men body and soul according to the sinful nature. He destroys all evil. They come through the fire of the last day able to believe and are saved. His glorious plan. 1 Corinthians 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
graceexplosion 7 months ago
Hey Mark, when did it ever become, "For it is by ELECTION you've saved through PREDESTINATION"? 'Cause that's what you're teaching.
apollos6640 7 months ago

How does God give us faith?
knowwaie 8 months ago
@knowwaie Of course God gives us repentance. Acts 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 2 Timothy 2:25
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
graceexplosion 8 months ago
@graceexplosion True, but i don't think this is how it's meant. These verses are saying God gives them a new mind, which is understood. Does that mean that no one is able to repent without first being given that mind? There are also examples where God is telling people to repent.
What i'm saying is that there is some requirement on the part of the person to make a choice. This video is saying the opposite. Then it would seem if it is God's choice and he could save everyone had he wanted to.
knowwaie 8 months ago

God created it by Him speaking and commanding.
graceexplosion 8 months ago

JackMWolfe 7 months ago
@JackMWolfe It is heresy for you to pretend that God did not call the Ninevites to repent. HE SENT JONAH to them to shoutthat the city would be destroyed. They had witnessed the WHALE SPEW JONAH ONTO THE SHORE. God sent the whale. God sent Jonah to preach to the Ninevites. God is Sovereign and orchestrated the whole thing. And in so doing, gave POWER to the Ninevites to fear God and repent. The only place "free will" is found in scripture is in Satan promising Eve free will. Lie.
graceexplosion 7 months ago
@graceexplosion The heresy here is YOUR claim that God allowed Adam & Eve to be tested beyond their ability to resist & that He doesn't effectualy call ALL men to repentance as with Nineveh - that He gives FAKE calls to some which He doesn't give the ability to obey & then casts them into hell for refusing to obey! You're an apostate promoting a false, limited gospel (Repent, for Christ MIGHT have died for you) which is condemned by Gal1:7-9, & you're guilty of blaspheming God's character.
JackMWolfe 7 months ago

Not born-again.
graceexplosion 7 months ago
@JackMWolfe For those Christians who go to the Word of God, God in His own Sovereign power ALLOWED Satan into the Garden of Eden. God ALLOWED Satan to tempt Adam and Eve and enter their bodies. The scripture is clear that then God came in human flesh appearing, and Jesus died on the cross. By dying a death in this flesh -- he destroyed Satan. CLEARLY, God's Sovereign plan revealed to TRUE born-again Christians. (Of which, I DOUBT thus "Jack" is.)
graceexplosion 7 months ago
@JackMWolfe To true Christians, this FALSE CHRISTIAN (Jack) who contemptuously reviles the death of Jesus on the cross -- MOCKS at the idea that Jesus Christ came in human flesh as God to destroy Satan. (Obviously, this was God's plan ALL ALONG to destroy Satan - and Jack MOCKS.) Hebrews 2:14Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
graceexplosion 7 months ago

You reject the cross of Jesus destroying Satan and mock the Word
graceexplosion 7 months ago
@graceexplosion One of us is indeed a reprobate & guilty of blaspheming the Holy Spirit - an UNFORGIVEABLE sin. To onlookers: the issues surrounding the A/C debate are NOT minor, this is not an "in house debate" - these are diametrically opposite, irreconcilable beliefs & there can be no genuine fellowship between the adherents. Calvinism has a limited gospel condemned by Gal1:7-9, blasphemes God's character, & those who persist in it, refusing to repent, will end up blaspheming the Spirit.
JackMWolfe 7 months ago
@JackMWolfe Guess it's obvious to true Christians which one that would be. You. You deny that salvation is by the blood of Jesus Christ. You instead state that salvation is through works, faith in man, self, and power to "strongarm" one's way into Heaven by "human will". Now, when you say that you saved yourself by "human will" -- what you mean is you saved yourself by "human intellect". All Christians born-again know that an intellectual salvation is not la real salvation.
graceexplosion 6 months ago

This sounds like a story of a miraculous transformation of demonic vampires.
sonoffalconqueen 6 months ago
@sonoffalconqueen What do you think "grace" means?? It is unmerited favor. We who do believe did NOT believe. Faith doesn't happen by "will". Try talking to a rock and making it "will" to become a son of God. But if you read the Bible the Bible will tell you that God is able, if HE CHOOSES, to take a rock and make it a son of God. See, you can be dumb as a rock, and hard as a rock, and on your way to murder Christians like Saul, And God can save you by HIS WILL.

@graceexplosion Throughout the Bible there were people who believed… Abraham, Rahab the harlot in James 2:23-26… they were sinners yet believed… How come you did not?
sonoffalconqueen 6 months ago
@sonoffalconqueen What did they believe in?? Man and his godhood?? His power of free will?? What "gospel" is it that preaches of man and man's inherent goodness and his great power to sin?? You know when you say "free will" -- all you mean is power to resist God's will and to do one's own will contrary to God's will. It's sin and the spirit of the devil. The term "free will" is a misnomer. Just call it "Satan's will". So, what "religion" is centered in man and "satan's will"? Satanism.
graceexplosion 6 months ago

You have to be a Narcissist to think that God only loves YOU, your ELECT brothers and Hates the rest of the World. Here is some Calvinism humor that simplyfies exactly what's in the hearts of these men, "Jesus loves me, this I know, because he HATES you, don't you know? Jesus Loves me this I Know, because he CHOSE me, and let you Go."
apollos6640 11 months ago
@JackMWolfe... it appears to me that Christians bring people to Christ, then Calvinists infiltrate their Church, create division, show the sheep some Proof-texts then attempt to Convert the Converted. In the end leaving the individual in a worse condition, now left with PRIDE and callous-hearted to non-believers... I know I'm right, some of them have confessed to being "Converted Arminians" by simply saying, "I used to be like you, an Arminian, until I discovered the SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD"...
apollos6640 11 months ago
@apollos Yes, I actually think Calvinism is a judgment against those who have been disobedient to the sanctification process God originally had for them. Calvinism provides an excuse for remaining unrepentant, justification for laziness, & false security as well - they become like syrens camped at the edge of the Promised Land, not obediently going in themselves & calling out to passers-by to come join them in a much easier path than responsible discipleship - the "God-does-it-all" plan.
JackMWolfe 11 months ago
@JackMWolfe Well thats a bit too much. I believe that God when he has a plan it always comes through. How can I trust him if his plans werent trustworthy. When Christ says he loves us as much as the Father loves him I cannot see him throwing those same ones he says loves as much as that in the full wrath of Hell. Now growing in my faith and looking at my sinful past and seeing it affirmed in scripture I saw that Christ continued to chase me in my natural state. But like I said we cant let this
africanboybkman 11 months ago
@africanboybkman seperate us as a Church. We are all untied by tthe truth that Christ loved us soo much that he has died for our sins and given us eternal life for free. Soo let us rejoice in that truth and come together under the head in meekness and humility and love
africanboybkman 11 months ago
@africanboybkman "I believe that God when he has a plan it always comes through"
God always fulfills HIS part of any promise or covenant He makes with man but they are ALL conditioned on obedience & faith. A full & complet Salvation has been supplied to man by the completed work of Christ, the only thing man must do is choose to turn from his own ways & receive it by faith. That's the simple gospel found throughout the scriptures but Calvinists deny it for a false gospel & a counterfeit "god"
JackMWolfe 11 months ago
@JackMWolfe I mean then is it really complete then? Well who knows if we'll ever come together on that aspect but it should not cause seperation. I never denied that I chose Christ I just believe he chose me before I chose him. Like scripture says. I did love darkness I did hate light. And because I hated the light I would not come to it. So what makes me any different from the guy who refuses to accept Christ? I believe nothing. Because just like like I was he too loves the darkness and will
africanboybkman 11 months ago
@africanboybkman not come to the light. I believe I was in the same condition as the man who refuses to accept Christ. I dont believe I had enough good to choose the marvellous light if I truly did hate the light and love darkness. So I put my complete thnx to Christ for my salvation. But like I said we may have a difference of views. But Christ does not reveal all knowledge to every believer in this world but lets just pray that we continue to grow in the glories of Christ. God bless
africanboybkman 11 months ago
@africanboybkman Of course God chooses us 1st, we will never choose Him on our own. It's a work of the Holy Spirit to convict us of our sin & need for a Savior. God must even give men the faith to believe but that doesn't negate the fact that they can reject His call & instead die in their sins. The reason men do so is because they want to have the fleeting pleasures of sin & the things of the world rather than the things of God - like Esau, they trade their inheritance for a bowl of soup.

apollos6640 11 months ago
@apollos I think progress is being made when it's shown that the 2 camps are opposite belief systems that can't be reconciled. Part of the Calvinist's strategy is to put a thin veneer of orthodoxy on their aberrant beliefs - as the old saying, getting their nose under the tent. So it acually helps when they come out & flatly condemn those who believe in free will as being unsaved - it shows there can be no genuine fellowship between the adherents, they have divergent doctrines & different Gods.
JackMWolfe 11 months ago
@JackMWolfe... why are you quoting James 2, or 1 Cor.10, or Hebrews 3 or 4 ? There's nothing in there about the SOVEREIGNTY of God, you're not teaching the SOVEREIGNTY of God, you should be more like CBALLEN and try to give more Glory to God by trying to Police the SOVEREIGNTY of God. God's WILL for the ELECT is teach the non-existence of FREE WILL, than unless you believe that you had NO CHOICE in accepting Gods FREE GIFT, you're robbing God of His SOVEREIGNTY and thus not one of the ELECT.
apollos6640 11 months ago

JackMWolfe 1 year ago
@JackMWolfe Unto good works cannot app;y to all so it would be exclusive. Some of God's elect cannot do good works. But beside that Christ is not validateted by works He alone satisfys God not Him and works. That is false theology. Blessed is the man God imputes righteousness apart from works
polopowers1 1 year ago
@polopowers Wrong. Justification is imputed to man by faith without works but ALL those who are thus saved are also called unto good works ie, sanctification. Read Eph2:10 until you grasp this. Paul also says the same thing in 1Cor10 & Hebrews chapter 3&4 - the 1st generation of Israelites forfeited their salvation by refusing to do the works God had predestined for them. And Jesus said,"Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of God but those who DO the will of My Father"

The words of the Lord---I have no pleasure at all in the death of the wicked
Stephen told the people, you stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you do ALWAYS RESIST THE HOLY GHOST!
It IS possible to resist the Holy Ghost. The Bible says so
We are chosen in Him according to the GOOD PLEASURE OF HIS WILL
And He HAS NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF THE WICKED
So He would NEVER chose death (damnation) for the man because it gives Him no pleasure to see the man die.

They take a few verses and ignore many others or use a few verses to change the meaning of others. It is a sad, sad thing. The true biblical Gospel results in LOVE that is gentle and full of Mercy that leads to obedience in gentileness. This theology is Void of Love.
TheHellbinder 1 year ago
We do know that some of the factors that go into Gods "pre ordained choices" are based on our prayer, our love for others as well as Gods desires. It is Gods will that ALL MEN BE SAVED. That is an absolute statement of fact. not altered by some foolish peoples interpretation of some verses. We are to seek to save and disciple the WHOLE WORLD realizing that God is partnering with us and leading us to accomplish that. These guys are utterly devoid of Gods wisdom. It is they who are blind by satan.
TheHellbinder 1 year ago
@TheHellbinder If it is God's will that "ALL" men be saved, then why is not all men being saved? If God decrees that it is His will that all men be saved, then it is suppose to come to pass! So either that is true or you are mistaken in your theological view. The Scripture tell's us that the natural man "CANNOT" concieve the thing's of God, because they are spiriturally discerned (1 Cor.2:14). It is obvious that you cannot understand the Scritprues you read. You must be "BORN AGAIN" (Jn.3:5).
foreverinchrist1 1 year ago
@foreverinchrist1 You know there are more scriptures in the bible than that? and they are also to be understood in context. not taken out and wrapped around someones heretical ideas. The answer to your question is self evident. God wants all to be saved but all will not believe. You need to read more scripture, and put away your calvinist text books. 1 cor is not talking about the salvation message. you have a twisted view of God and a complete lack of understanding.
TheHellbinder 1 year ago

TheHellbinder 1 year ago
This isn't Christian, it's "Paulian". Everything he quotes is from Paul. Paul was a self appointed apostle. He never met Jesus except in a vision. But there were no witnesses. Maybe he made the whole thing up. Paul's doctrines differ greatly with Jesus and the Nazarenes. Paul never quotes Jesus. He only quotes himself.

@clarkewi Quite interesting because Peter mentions Paul's writings were scripture...

1.Genesis 4:7 (Whole Chapter)
If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you have been saved - and raised up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages He might show the immeasurable riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

It is God who calls, who justifies, who sanctifies, who glorifies us.
The good works are what we are saved to do, but they do not in any way 'contribute' to what Jesus did for us to secure our salvation.
When Jesus said 'It is finished' on the cross, He meant it.
God's elect will be glorified, and God will bring them through the entire process.
Surely this is a good thing, otherwise no flesh would be saved!
Please stop hating us and think about these Scriptures.

"By works a man is justified and not by faith only." -James
Guardian1223 2 years ago

CBALLEN 2 years ago 8
@CBALLEN If after its been fashioned to dispense Coke and it doesn't dispense Coke and it can't be fixed then it is good for nothing more than to be melted down in the fire!
Christians become heirs of God, non-Christians are not heirs of God: Paul told bona fide Christians "heirs" that they would not inherit the kingdom of God if they continue to live in unrighteousness.
Christians have an eternal HOPE that means its only "possible" to receive the reward not guaranteed: all can receive Christ.
JoBernard12oxen 1 year ago
@JoBernard12oxen Joe,eternal life, belief, faith, repentance, grace, justification, sanctification and Glorification(not in this order) are all gifts from God to us,not gifts we give to God.God saves us and makes us HIS children while we are yet sinners, for His good pleasure alone and as His children,He will spank us when we sin,but He'll never send us to Hell.
CBALLEN 1 year ago
@CBALLEN You can not make the point "He'll never send us to Hell" until you prove that Christians "the heirs of God" can not forfeit their inheritance, Paul told Christians, heirs of God they would not inherit the kingdom of God (the eternal hope of life with Christ) if they continue in unrighteousness. I would be a fool to listen to anything else, and you can not and I repeat, you can not prove that heirs of God were not told they would be rejected if they continue in willful sin. U can not
JoBernard12oxen 1 year ago
@JoBernard12oxen John 6: 37,44,65 all make it clear that it is the Father who chooses who comes to Christ and 100% of those called to the Son are then saved and kept until their Glorification. When the Bible speaks of one who believes the gospel being saved, this is 100% true, but belief is the result and confirmation of being born again, not a means to it.Those who God saves are even granted repentance as part of their sanctification and even though this is God's doing,it's what we most want to do.
CBALLEN 1 year ago
@CBALLEN Joe,the Elect were God's chosen people before the world began Eph 1:4-12 and as God calls His own, they will come.If you look at Acts 13:48 you'll see it says ...as many as were APPOINTED to eternal life, believed,so unless a person is appointed to eternal life by God first,he will never be saved. Also Rev.13:8 makes it clear that people not written in the Lamb's book of life before time WILL worship the Beast, this also means those who were written there before time WON'T do it,the elect.
CBALLEN 1 year ago
@CBALLEN Refuted misinterpretations. 1st,God indeed chooses & predestines but that doesn't negate the fact that man can reject His call & instead choose to die in his sins. 2nd, men are appointed to eternal life by CHOOSING to obey God's voice & repent 3rd, Rev13:8 says THE BOOK was from the foundation of the earth NOT the names - they are added as decisions are made for Christ. 4th, the names can be REMOVED for apostasy(Rev3:5), which refutes Calvinism anyway. Your own cited verses refute you!
JackMWolfe 1 year ago
@JackMWolfe All natural men reject God's call to repentance, that's a given,it's God's effectual call to His Elect that's never fails to save.My SHEEP hear my voice and come when called. The people who hear and never come are the Goats, these are the pots fitted to destruction.
CBALLEN 1 year ago
@CBALLEN Blaspehmous nonsense. ALL men are "natural men" born separated frrom God under Adam's condemnation, and God calls them ALL to repentance. He doesn't issue a Fake call to some of them while withholding the ability for them to respond - secretly wanting them to decline it because He actually intends to destroy them. Your gospel is "Repent for Christ MIGHT have died for you" & it's condemned by Gal1:7-9. The TRUE gospel is found in Acts17:29-30 - Paul says it's for ALL people EVERYWHERE.
JackMWolfe 1 year ago
@JackMWolfe Open theism denies God knew Adam and Eve would sin and Jesus being chosen for a Savior only happened after Adam and Eve sinned.Open Theism teaches God does not know all the future and makes mistakes, they teach God is ignorant of what man will do and He must wait to see what man will do next before He can make His plans, restricting God's will and making man the only truly free creature in the universe. So God has no free will ,His will is decided by all mighty man.Blasphemy.
CBALLEN 1 year ago
@CBALLEN You ignore truth like all the false prophets before you, all false prophets proclaim God's people will never be condemned of him regardless of what they do, all false prophets say we are God's chosen and he will protect and keep us and never condemn us. So shall you have a false prophets reward, greater punishment than those that never knew the way of truth. You ignored the fact that God threatened the heirs of not receiving their inheritance if they continue in sin, they have a choice.

@CBALLEN "People who only think they are saved will go to Hell, those who God has saved never go to Hell."
Do you believe Christ was giving an empty warning to the believers in Sardis that their names would be removed from the book of life if they refused to repent of their apostasy (Rev3:5)?
JackMWolfe 1 year ago
@JackMWolfe You can't read,Jesus said they'd never be blotted out, only you would twist that.
CBALLEN 1 year ago
@CBALLEN I see in Rev3 that those who haven't "soiled their clothes" & "are worthy & deserving" will walk with Christ in white, but the question is about those who Christ says are "dead" & don't have even one work that's "perfect in God's sight" - Is Christ's warning that their names will be ERASED from the Book of Life if they don't repent just an empty threat? Answer Yes or No. You've also run away from Lk7:30, Ex6:6-8, & the story of Cain for WEEKS - doesn't your cowardice ever bother you?
JackMWolfe 1 year ago
@JackMWolfe If it were possible that true converted Christians could one day lose their faith in Jesus and walk away in apostasy then the most logical thing to do would be to shoot you in the back of the head before allowing you to risk losing your faith while living another day in this devil ruled world. Now, logically speaking, that would be the most compassionate thing a fellow brother in Christ could do for you. life is short, hell is forever... need a hand?
MovieBumonTwitter 1 year ago

April4th1984 2 years ago
Paul makes up alot of teachings that make people think that there is no such thing as a righteous person..and that we're all in the same boat. Reality depicts another picture. It makes sense that Paul would want people to think that 'everyone is the same', because Paul was a murderer. He had innocent blood on his hands, and in order for the naive to follow him, he'd have to convince them that 'there's no such thing as a righteous person'.
davidaud777 2 years ago
Jesus said no man can come to me unless the father who sent me draw him ' meaning we cant even believe he is the messiah unless God reveals it to us and we accept him' then he said ALL that the father giveth to me i shall lose NOTHING ' meaning ALL every any whosoever' He is the author and finisher of our faith ' he started it and will finish it . It says its IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie so if he loses a Christian after promising he wont lose any' then he is a liar without any possible excuse ever.

We could say we were predestined to engage in endless debates about questionable doctrines while this world is on the road to perdition.
This might upset some now, but I think that 95% of the people who speak about salvation and debate about it don't have a clue about what that means.
They speak about salvation as about an object: you have it or not. Or about Jesus: you have Him or not.
Maybe the question is: "Does Jesus has you?" ( Or not ... )
dyobodiu 2 years ago 3
Dyobodiu,
Too bad you weren't around when Paul and Jesus walked the earth, you could have said:
"Hey Paul, before you spend 1/3 of the New Testament correcting bad doctrine, why not just go evangelize people?"
OR
"Hey Jesus, don't debate theological points with the Pharisees...just go evangelize"
if Jesus himself said" Nobody has the ability to come to me except that the Father draws HIM and I WILL raise HIM up on the last day"
My question would be "why don't people take Jesus at his word?"
