Yes, she certainly may have been one of the sexiest stars of her day as I said before, but what I really love in that scene was the sexual chemistry between Novak and Holden. Before sexuality was thrown in your face like they do nowadays, they had to be a lot more subtle about how they conveyed sensuality on the screen. And they portrayed it beautifully. If you've seen the movie, it would make more sense to you.

Plus, she dances much better than her sister in that scene, that's for sure!

I also want to add that I thought about putting Kim Novak and Jimmy Stewart in this video from Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo (in which she plays a sexy femme fatale), but it didn't make the cut. I didn't see them as part of this video in my mind, so I didn't choose to include them. She is also *very* sexy in that movie, plus she doesn't dance in it, which should come as a relief to you. LOL
