i figured it out it was the mother board and the bios.. i used a msi ms-6741 switched to a av78x-x board then i installed them worked find..

i bought one too last week version 2 but when i force install the drivers and restart i get a black screen after the windows logo.. did you come across this? if so how do you solve it?

I never had any problems. Did you remove the drivers from the old card? Sometimes the old drivers will conflict with the new ones. Remove the old ones, reboot in same mode, and install the new ones.
