  • Isn't it ironic that even though the titles are in Italian, the Film's title, which is "Sei Donne per l'Assassino" is kept in English (that is to say, that instead of "Sei Donne per l'Assassino", "Blood and Black Lace", its English title, is displayed)?

  • "Six femmes pour l'assassin" est un pur chef d'œuvre visuel. Un coup de maître du grand Mario Bava hélas très méconnu de son vivant et qui aujourd'hui est considéré à juste titre comme un des grands réalisateurs italiens ! J'adore tous ses films ! Maria Bava est un poète de l'image !

  • I would dare reply to you, justwoozynow, that despite what you say, 'The Girl who knew to much' was a some kind of a pre-giallo. But i'm fooling myself : the first representation of what would be the «first pre-giallo» of the history of cinema goes, according to me, to 'The Spiral Staircase' from Robert Siodmak. Maybe the giallo could have some kind of german blood «flowing in his veins».
