I am Eddie Cohen, tenor saxophonist with Les Skah Shah on and off from 1977 to 1992. I was not in this performance, but it brings back wonderful memories of Skah Shah in its heyday. Special mention I'd like to make here is for the late, great Mario Mayala on guitar....his loss was a great setback to the Kompa movement... ... as there was never a more dedicated musician than he. He quietly devoted himself 100 percent to Skah Shah and was a large part of the backbone of the Kompa movement.

Quand à Arnold Delmas , le nom m'avait été donné par Cubano lui même , peut être qu'il confondait avec une autre soirée . Fantastic! My friends Jean-Paul & Carl Bourelly 1st played them for me on cassette in the 80's, but this is my first time seeing. I would love to see more from this period. Some of the best music I have heard in a while.
