  • Yum, yum, I'm going to go find that recipe again. My MIL gave me a hand waffle iron which makes one at a time on the burner. I like yours, too! Much easier! Are all stropwafels made by hand? I buy them in the grocery store in Canada for $3 a pack of 6.

  • Just bough a pack of 6 $6 (taiwan)! When I was in Holland it was much cheaper and I ate a lot!

  • where can i buy the stroopwafels iron ? Thanks for the video

  • @trivian2004 I've come across a few recipes for stroopwafels (which seem to vary GREATLY), one of which led me to this How-To video. Two of them say to use a Pizzelle Iron (whatever that is), and another says to use a Waffle Iron. I intend to look for a waffle iron without deep groves that would make a normal waffle. Failing that, I have the feeling a panini press may do the job nicely, if failing to create the traditional grid pattern. :)

  • @trivian2004 Update: From the looks of things, a Pizzelle Iron is used to make ice cream cones, specifically Waffle Cones. :) You could simply ask around for a Waffle Cone Iron, it's easier to communicate than Stroopwafel iron. :)

  • Very nice video and nice to see how you make stroopwafels. I notice the surface is flat. Are they not usually a waffle-like surface? Thank you for nice video.
