I love my E36 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 9.4HP in the 328i. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:
@alexlex85 Ive never heard of this but seems legitimate, I had 18's on my 325is for a bit and now my tie rods are pretty bad, but I was just curious why bigger wheels make the tie rods go out.?

Is it dangerous? my car has the same problem i guess. Can it come apart?
Could the play be in the steering rack itself? Or is the tie rod the most likely candidate?

Dat happens usually caz of big wheels. E36 shuld have 17" maximum otherwisw get ready to replace every 6 months

The actual rack itself or the steering u-joint and guibo bushing? The rack is like $600 !

nice rims man 5 starss id say.... and the play is coming from the rack itself... mine had that problem and there easy to fix
