  • I have him at #1. UMADBRO?

  • I agree with Chuck, kobe has the best skill set, i have ever seen. There isn't one thing he does bad, while doing many things off the charts. he's definitely top 5.He would have been dominant in any era, that's what some people over look, i don't know if some of these older players would be as dominant today, the players are much bigger, and faster.

  • Only players with ring should have an opinion .

  • Barkeley ,never got a ring .

  • ALL YOU HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT NBA:

    1 GOD IS MJ.

    2 EMPEROR IS KB24.

3 KING IS DIRK AS A DEFENDING CHAMPION.

    4 ROSE,WADE,CARMELO,T.PARKER,HOWARD,CP3,DURANT,PIERCE,ETC, ARE GREAT OFFICERS.

5 PRINCE IS BG32 AS ROOKIE OF THE YEAR.

6 LEBRON IS THE QUEEN OF THE SOUTH BITCH (LOL) TAKE THIS AS A JOKE LJ6 IS A GOOD PLAYER BUT HE HAVE TO WIN A RING TO BE IN THE 3RD FLOOR OF MY LIST (TO BECAME A ''KING'') THE SECOND FLOOR IS ANTOUCHABLE FOR ANYONE WHO PLAY THE GAME TODAY.FORGET ABOUT THE TOP FLOOR.

  • @elvishasan mj aint God bro...

  • @elvishasan Phil Jackson puts Kobe and Micheal on the same plane of existance. just sayin.

  • i agree with chuck

  • You guys all need a reality check. Chuck may have been a little out of line when he said this, but coming from a die hard Kobe fan, he is unbelievable. How dare you take his will to win away.

  • All Time: 1. Pistol Pete 2. Larry Bird 3. Wilt Chamberlain 4. Magic Johnson 5. Michael Jordan 6. KAJ 7. Allen Iverson 8. Kobe Bryant 9. Julius Erving 10. Tie--Dwyane Wade & LeBron James Currently: 1. LeBron James 2. Blake Griffin 3. Dwyane Wade 4. Kobe Bryant 5. Rajon Rondo 6. Derrick Rose 7. Rajon Rondo 8. Would I be killed because of saying Kyrie Irving? 9. Ray Allen 10. Dwight Howard
  • @knockout82254 Pistol Pete #1? buahaha you're retarded.

  • @knockout82254 thats's hilarious.

  • Kobe better then Larry bird hahajahahahhahahaha nigga, please !

  • Lol not even in 20 top best player ever

  • @01234567891989 Hahaha are you serious??? You are out of your mind man!

  • @Jeansy23 Look 20 better : 1 Jordan, 2 Larry Bird, 3 Bill Russel, 4 Wilt Chamberlain, 5 Kareem Abdul, 6 Magic Johnson, 7 Julius Erving , 8 Tim Duncan , 9 Charles Barkley, 10 Shaq , 11 Kakeem, 12 West , 13 Pippen, 14 Karl Malone, 15 John Stockton, 16 Elgin Baylor, 17 Oscar Robertson, 18 Moses Malone 19 David Robinson, 20 Isiah Tomas.

  • @01234567891989 That list is out of order!

  • @Jeansy23 I know but i said 20 players better than Kobe (ok maybe not 20 but yes 10 better than Kobe)

  • @01234567891989 there is no way in hell tim duncan charles barkley shaq or scotty pippin is better than kobe and david robinson sucks

  • @Jeansy23 He may be 5 best player in his position but not in top 5 best player ever

  • I'm not putting kobe before kareem, oscar, wilt, russell, larry, magic, jordan, or olajuawon. He might be in the top ten. Just with this list he is ninth at best.

  • OKAY LETS END THIS its NOT BIRD, mj, kobe, magic are the top 3

  • 2nd best SG doesn't make you top 5 thats not logical. He's not better than Kareem thats for sure you can argue some others. Based on rings they all won multiple rings, MVP's and dominated and they did it against better competition.

  • if u look at the nba history, i guess we cant find a shooting guard better than kobe ( putting Michael aside of course cauz he's the GOAT). If kenny says that he cant compare magic and bird to jordan and chamberlain, than why he can say that kobe isnt top 5? You cant compare diferent positions so i dare u to find a point guard better than kobe that isnt MJ. Kobe is easily a top 5 even if u compare with all the great players

  • let the 5 rings talk

  • mj kob oscar magic and wilt

  • 1.Jordan

    2. Bird

    3. Magic

    4. Russell

    5. Chamberlin

    6. Robertson

    7. Kareem

    8. West

    9. Olajawon

    10. Duncan

  • @blastweather u stupid

  • @BWING24 How? Just because my honest opinion doesn't have LeBron or Kobe doesn't make it any less than your opinion.

  • @blastweather

mj could play all positions haha

  • @laviek2 he could LOL. but my list is my opinion on who is the top 10 of all time

  • @blastweather lebron should not even in this conversation

  • @BWING24 when its all said and done lebron could easlily be a top 15 maybe even top ten of all time he's just to versitle and explosive not to mention his size and speed and can guard all 5 positions on the court yes he's is in the conversation but him and kobe both are not top 10 today

  • charles barkley is more accurate in maybe kobe is in the top 10. but top 5? no chance nooo way

  • chuck would say kobe is better because bird, and magic shitted on him every year... then when they retired he thought he had a chance... then michael came in... HA!. . . . .NBA2K12... i only see 3 of the BEST players on the cover who ever lived!!!!

  • PG: Magic/Robertson/Thomas

    SG: MJ

    SF: Bird

    PF: Karl Malone

C: Russell/Kareem/Shaq/Hakeem/Wilt (I think Shaq is the best one, but in terms of eras that each played in, it's tough to choose)

  • @GRiMxSG

    pg magic

    sg kobe

    sf michael jordan

    pf (its tufff ) lol

    c kareem

  • @laviek2 Lol. Every position is tough! >< except SG.

  • @GRiMxSG Pg Magic

    Sg 1. Jordan 2. Kobe

    SF Bird

    PF Duncan

    C Kareem

  • No Top Comment?

    LALALALALLALALALALALLAALALALALALALALALALALAAAA!!!!

    Boobs.

  • Fuck you charles flip flopping fat fuck...Kobe is number 2.

  • Charles is right.

  • 1.MJ 2.Kareem 3.Magic 4.Chamberlin 5.Robertson 6.Kobe

  • in the 2010 and 11 season i submitted to ask charles for his top 5 players he said 1 mj 2 Oscar 3 Wilt 4 Bill 5 Kareem

  • this is bull, a video saying he wasnt top 10 led me here.

  • Too much of double cheeseburger lowers one's IQ.....Sir Charles is a living proof of that

  • FVKc KEnny !!

  • I'm a Kobe fan but damn that's just ridiculous lol.. he's no top 5 all time

What about Russell, Chamberlain, Jabbar, Magic, Larry, Jordan, Big O, Moses and Karl Malone, Stockton etc etc

  • @sznj94 stockton, malone dont belong in that convo...by the time kobe retires he will be tp 5

  • @ihofaerefa Stockton is probably one of the best point guards ever. Malone is probably the best power forward too. Why don't they belong in that conversation?

  • I'll put kobe at number 8 as a player. WTF who put Lebron in # 3, you better get the fuck out of here

  • Lebron is probably the single best athlete the game has ever seen. Not the best player yet, but i don't think anybody has the same combination of skills that he does. I could see him being a possible superstar until the age of forty.

  • people always say mj is the best..... but with 6 rings to bill russells 11.....is he? I wanna see russell highlights or stats to compare..... I do think scottie is prab the best ever at his position considering how great he was and all he had to deal with..... ex - jordan being 5th highest paid bull, and the 2 jerrys.....

  • love this show :D

  • Shaq = the best NBA player from 1995 to 2005

Kobe = the best NBA player from 2000 to 2010

  • pff shaqs the most dominent player of out time (last 2 decades)

  • wowww i just watch another when he said kobes not even in his to 10 lol whats up chuck??? lol

  • LEBRON AT NUMBER 3 U FUCKIN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK OUTTA HERE ok listen u never EVER put that guys name in with these CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING LEGENDS K maybe at the end of his career yes but jesus christ not NOW! KOBE AT 8 WHO R THESE 3 IDIOTS THAT AGREE?

mj@1 Good job! wilt@2 Good job! LEBRON@ even 20 GTFO!

  • @rozay604 chucks a dumbass

  • @Georgiaking1000 not chuck that fuckin idiot BENKATOK

  • 1. MJ

    2.Wilt

    3.LeBron

    4.Big O

    5. Magic

    6.Larry

    7.Shaq

    8. Kobe

  • @BENKATOK

You're a fucking dumb ass first to put Shaq at number 7, secondly to put Lebron at number 3. You are completely ignorant to the game.Top 10 NBA all timers don't score 8 points in a game of the NBA Finals. Or average 2 pts in the fourth quarter of the NBA finals, even at the rank 3 spot. Lebron is atleast rank 20. Kobe I wouldn't give him 5, but I would give him 8. Shaq I give him 19. And the rest you stated is correct, but Lebron at number 3? Seriously your a fucking retard.

  • @BENKATOK you crazy

  • @Georgiaking1000 kobe number 1

  • @BENKATOK wtf? Lebron better than big o and magic? ARE U HIGH? And u dont even have Kareem or Russel in the top 8?? Retard.....

  • @BENKATOK wtf? Lebron better than big o and magic? ARE U HIGH? And u dont even have Kareem or Russel in the top 8?? Retard.....

  • @GreenDogsofLavasan STFU! It's my list! If you don't like it then make your own list! I don't consider Jabbar a top 10 great. He was over rated and I don't like his game. So is Russel. He was not good offensively. He has 11 rings but it wasn't his dominance that won it. It was his team and the teams they played against. If he played in this era, D Howard would own him.

  • @BENKATOK ok cracky, lechoke is better than russel and kareem. I could totally tell this june..

  • @BENKATOK The guy who holds the most points in the NBA, 3rd in blocks and rebounds is over-rated?! What are you smoking?

  • @kob3fan24 He played for more than 20 yr

    s. His scoring average is not that impressive.

  • @BENKATOK Then why is shaq on the list when he averaged lower points, rebounds, lower field goal percentage, and blocks? Shaq's peak year was was in the 99-00 season when he averaged 30 points, 4 assists and 13 rebounds. Now compare to Kareems best year, Kareem averaged 34 points, 5 assists, and 17 rebounds. Kareem > Shaq. (The reason why I'm only pointing out statistics because you are as well)

  • @kob3fan24 Shaq is different player. He was strong and intimidating. He played like a real center. He was a game changer. Kareem though he was tall, he was skinny and played like a small forward and wasn't a banger. Shaq could have easily destroyed him if they played in thesame era.

  • Comment removed

  • @BENKATOK Kareem's hook shot from 15 feet away was unstoppable. Kareem was also a better shooter, had better basketball IQ and was a team leader. Shaq would just bull doze over opponents but could be mitigated by fouls. Shaq was never a good free throw shooter in his career averaging around 50% for his career. Kareem was more humble, hard working, and clutch. As soon as shaq left his teams he would talk smack about them. Just look at how he treated kobe and wade after he left. Brains over Brawn

  • @kob3fan24 Basketball IQ? Shaq Has a great basketball IQ. He always know where to position himself to get a shot or a dunk. He had quickness too.He wasn't a good FT shooter but he put the opponents in early foul troubles and penalties. The teams he played for after Lakers didn't know how to use him. They ignored him when he got free from pick and rolls. If they were both in their primes, I'd pick Shaq over Kareem.

  • @BENKATOK Shaq does have a great basketball IQ but Kareem has a better one. I dont know why you put Lebron though, besides being a statistical monster he still has a good 7-8 years left. He hasn't done much to prove he's top 10. He choked during both years his team was in the finals, he scored 2 points or less in the 4th quarter this year against the mavs. 2 POINTS! (Stephen A. Smith) Plus Lebron has no heart and lost with Dwayne Wade, and Chris bosh thats about the best support team you can get

  • @BENKATOK LOL this guy is straight up retarded! putting lebron 3rd LOLOL the guy hasnt even won a single ring yet and hes better than Big O magic and larry

  • @BENKATOK How can you even put Lebron top 20? and Kobe 8.? Kobe's career as a whole is number 2 only to MJ.

  • @H0lyPh3n0m Its reasonable to put Lebron top 10 IF you just look at skill, talent, athleticism, defense, well roundness etc..... But Lebron is missing the mental part of the game and until he starts performing big in the finals he cant be top 10

  • @ben1ben2ben1 Yes i agree, if you look at his talent and athleticism, he's a top 10 player of all time. But what many people have to realize is that basketball isn't a game of numbers. You can't rely on stats to say a person is better than another when those stats are almost even. You really can't even rely on stats period. I agree with you on the mental part and big performances in the finals. To be a great basketball player you need that, the killer instinct, heart, the eagerness to win etc..

  • @H0lyPh3n0m If the NBA season stopped at the conference finals i would put Lebron top 5. But man he has been weak in the finals. But he is still young so maybe he will get the mental part of the game down eventually

  • @ben1ben2ben1 I wouldn't say top 5, maybe top 10, but i'd most likely put him top 15. But yeah. And about the mental part, he's played i think now 9 seasons in the nba, that's more than enough time for him to develop as a skilled player, but as you said, he's still young, despite his long career in the nba.

  • @BENKATOK You must be a Lebron fan. LOL!

  • @BENKATOK u said lebron HAHAHAHAHHAHA,,,wtf.............ur fked n ur high

  • @MrIsmailmian24 HAHAHAHA! WTF????? If you don]t like my list then make your own list! WTF is your problem? Mind your own business! LeBron is the best in this era period!

  • @BENKATOK wtf,,u put lebron number 3..udk nothing abt basket ball,,u jus started watching recently,,.n who r u to say no one gives a fuck wat u say lol,,these guys r professional basket ball player,s,,chuck knws da game u dont,,,wat makes lebron number 3?>...2 mvp trophies?>...chocked in2009 playsoff,,and 2010 playoffs,,

  • lebron best now yea but the best in this era thats not true. kobe 5 rings in this era, a mvp 2 finals, seasons mvp, 17 triple doubles, dunk champ, a gold metal scored 81 points. do i have 2 go on.

  • kobe owns this era hands down, lebron can't win a ring wit dwade on his team and thats just sad.

  • i love shaq but he is not better than kobe and lebrons not better than magic.

  • 1.Michael Jordan

    2.Kareem Abdul Jabbar

    3.Wilt Chamberlain

    4.Magic Johnson

    5.Larry Bird

    6.Bill Russell

    7.Oscar Robertson

    8.Kobe Bryant

    9.Tim Duncan

    10.Shaquille O'Neal

  • 1. Kobe

    2. Wilt

    3. Kareem

    4. MJ

    5. Brian Scalabrine

  • kennys right you gotta judge by position. or you have to judge best overall that can do everything. i say jordan but kobe and bird and magic are up there so is bron he can pass too. but none of them could guard kareem or shaq or wilt within 10-15 feet of the basket. i say jordan!

  • Bill Russell??? <--- Bill would blow if he played in the 80's or later. Oscar robertson stats are great but come on stats lie and he got what one ring. Magic Johnson is no doubt the best player ever and he is not even top 5, come on Charles.

    1. Magic

    2. Shaq(the best player in the best era of bball)

    3. Kobe(its not over)

    4. MJ

    5.Bird

  • @ShaqSlap13 What MJ is Number 4?? Are you serious?

  • Kobe simply doesn't have the charisma of all great basketball players. Heck, Sir Charles ranks better than Kobe in my book! I you tube Barkley's Greatest moves, I am fascinated with The Worm's antics, I even watch Toni Kukoc's. Watching Kobe play doesn't impress me much. More of a photocopy, not an original. No offense meant, but stats simply doesn't make you the greatest top 5 of all time. You need more than that. Sir Charles - your better in my book!

  • @fisherprice112 charisma means shit thats just swag and kobe got swag threw the roof kobe is top 5 ever

  • it go oscar mj and kobe the rest is up to yall

  • kobe is a better player then magic and bird idc how much they changed the game keep it on the court neither of them could people up kobe can an could

  • Kobe is not better than Bird.

  • seriously...i m 1 of those crazy kb fans...i say if he didnt shoot those tough 3s and sick fadeaways...his achievements would be higher...he would be in the top 3 list...but too bad...i found those entertaining when he made those shots...kobe 4ever...

  • Kareem was serious. 3rd greatest player ever IMO. Kobe's isn't top 5 yet but he is top 10 no doubt.

  • Honestly, Kobe is way better than Bird and Duncan. Check their achievements and stats. Kbe is not yet finish, btw.

  • Charles was being sarcastic to make Kobe fans look dumb when they say he's better than MJ or Top 5.Every player that has played in the NBA has Magic,Bird,Kareem,Wilt over Kobe.No disrespect to Kobe,he's prolly Top 10 or 12.

  • @Zeke4TV when it goes down i think kobe will be top 5 all time, hes only 33, got plenty of time to make it happen, but defs right now top 10 all time

  • @rockfan96channel well thats TBD,we'll see how he fits with MikeBrown,we know he's not gonna respect him at all, hell it took him forever to let Phil coach him,yes he's 33,but with 15 long years on his back with knee, back, and finger problems.I love Kobe as a player and ppl should accept him for who he is and not compared to MJ.MJ stats in the finals(Biggest Stage)compared to Kobes are laughable, especially the shooting percentages. They compare them two because Kobe has patterned his game after Mj

  • @Zeke4TV people also compare them two coz same position and height and stuff, but seriously you have to admit kobes easy top 10, no he wont be jordan, but he'll be up there with all the legends

  • @rockfan96channel I don't know about easy Top 10 he had to get them 2 exta rings before anyone was giving him credit, yeah i think he's either 9th or 10th.Yeah he's definetly a legend no doubt. He's been the best player in the league for the past 6,7 years,he deserves more than 1MVP,he jus does.He should have like 3 to be honest

  • @Zeke4TV yeah your right, he was robbed in 2006, he shouldve got MVp, but i guess its coz lakers didnt have a stellar record, and yeah he is a legend no doubt, i reckon when hes finished, he'll sneak into the top 5 all time

  • Kobe is a top 5 player.

He will retire #1 in playoff pts, #1 in all time scoring.

If you are in the top 5 all time scoring with a MVP and a ring, and multiple all defensive team awards, you are a top 5 player, EASILY!!!

LARRY, MAGIC, WEST AND BIG O ARE NOT BETTER THAN KOBE

  • kobe is easily top 5. but he just needs some more hardware to make it a definite statement.

  • In 2009-2010, the season the Lakers won their second consecutive championship, Kobe averaged 27 points, five rebounds and five assists per game. Last season, Kobe averaged 25 points, five rebounds and five assists—in five less minutes of playing time. Not too much of a drop-off.

KOBE IS STILL KOBE, YOU CAN'T SAY THAT FOR DUNCAN AND SHAQ!!

  • O'Neal: First, of all, [Kobe is] definitely a closer. Right now, he?s thought of as the greatest player in the Lakers history, surpassing Magic Johnson and Jerry West. Especially if he wins this championship, he will probably go down as the greatest Laker ever.

  • In 2008, 09, 10 timmy was horrible. Kobe is still consider great and the best.

Plus, Since 2003, Tim's played with top 5 PG in the league Tony Parker and GREATEST euro player of all time Manu Ginobli. Yet he never catches any flack for having great help.

  • Just browsing some of those top player lists in th other threads. many people claim that Duncan is the number 1 player of the 2000s and it's not even a discusssion. I just don't get that. Duncan has never dominated statistically on the level of a Shaq, Kobe or Lebron. Head to head he has more often than not came up small against Kobe. people claim that he's the consummate winner and laud him for his consistency. But somehow forget that everytime he wins he's had a STACKED team.

  • KOBE AND LARRY PLAYER EFFICIENT RATING IS TIED AT 23.5, KOBE WILL BE #1 IN SCORING, LARRY WILL BE 30TH ALL TIME. IN THE PLAYOFFS KOBE IS 3RD AND WILL BE 1ST IN SCORING. LARRY IS NOT IN THE TOP 10 ON THAT LIST. KOBE SHOT A BETTER 3 PT % IN THE PLAYOFFS THAN LARRY, PLUS LARRY AVE. MORE TURNOVERS. KOBE IS BETTER THAN LARRY, MAKIN HIM A TOP 5 RESPECTIVELY!!!

  • @oneoverjordan23

With all due respect, I think this comment is idiotic. Larry played in a much tougher defensive era and had an equal in Magic. And the thing that everyone forgets when talking about Larry -- Larry had what has been described by his doctors as a career-ending back injury in the summer of 85.

  • @oneoverjordan23 He kept playing because that's what Larry did -- no excuses. He kept putting up ridiculous numbers, getting MVPs, and winning even after this injury that would have ended other players' careers (not my words, his doctor's). Ridiculous to compare the two. Had Larry remained healthy, he would probably have ended up with 5-6 championships and even more MVPs.

  • @oneoverjordan23

Oh, and as far as basketball IQ is concerned, don't even compare the two. Also, what is Kobe's % in clutch situations? (See the article that ESPN did on this -- wasn't even 30%). Everyone thinks Kobe's clutch but you never see highlight reels of the misses. Larry made more when it mattered. One final note, someone did a study of highest winning percentage of all time -- that's all games (exhibition, reg season, playoffs, etc) and Larry was #1.

  • @oneoverjordan23

Bird -- greatest all around player of all time -- and had he been healthy his entire career -- it wouldn't even be close. Sorry for all the posts. Peace.

  • @oneoverjordan23 Thank you! Larry is great, but it's just Kobe. I don't know why people undermine his greatness. I don't know why people seem to forget, or just ignore his 35 ppg season. His 40+ 9 game streak. Kobe has 107+ games of scoring 40 or more points. 81 POINTS! His 50+ 4 game streak. Kobe has made it to the nba all-defensive team 11 times!, 9 times on the first team! Kobe has the record for most threes made in the game at 12! 5 RINGS! etc etc etc.........

  • @oneoverjordan23 Kid back then actually went to college

  • I can't stand Chuck, but he's finally right about something.Kobe will end up 2nd best ever when his career is over.Haters can hate all they want, but it's the truth.

  • HE IS THE GREATEST LAKER EVER, MAGIC, WEST AND SHAQ AGREES. HE WILL RETIRE #1 ALL TIME IN SCORING. #1 ALL TIME PLAYOFF POINTS. HE COULD ALSO ADD RINGS TO HIS CAREER. HE COULD POSSIBLY HAVE 7 RINGS, AND PLUS KOBE IS BETTER THAN LARRY, MAGIC, WEST, SHAQ, BIG O, AND DUNCAN. YOU GOT TO CRAZY TO THINK LARRY WAS A BETTER OFF OR DEF PLAYER. LARRY REBOUDED BETTER. BUT ONE ON ONE KOBE WOULD KILL EVERYBODY ON THIS LIST BUT JORDAN.

  • i love charles barkley

  • being the best of his generation wherein the talent level just dwarfs that of the other generation of players, i call that top 5 all time

  • "u'r only as good as you're greatest opponent" who did MJ hate the most - Isiah Thomas..Zeke is on the level HIGHER than elite...LEGENDARY

  • obviously kenny, kobe is a better player than magic johnson and larry bird dont get me wrong those are great players bbut kobe is phenomenal charles is right

  • O'Neal: First, of all, [Kobe is] definitely a closer. Right now, he?s thought of as the greatest player in the Lakers history, surpassing Magic Johnson and Jerry West. Especially if he wins this championship, he will probably go down as the greatest Laker ever.

  • kobe is a top 5 player and with 2 more rings he will be a the 2nd best player of all time

  • Guys in 1 year he will pass shaq, in 2 years he will pass Mj and Wilt. (he will be 34) at that time. If he only averages 23 points per season. In 5 years he will pass Kareem with 39,138. with players like nash, hill and jkidd. kobe can play another 5 years. larry is 27th on that list

  • that eliminates all 3 of those guys. Kobe voted player of the decade over shaq and duncan. Shaq said kobe has already surpassed every laker with his 5th ring. that eliminates those guys as well. kobes skill set is unmatched to any player outside of mj, period!

  • Larry Bird - "Kobe can take my spot on the 92' Dream Team" Magic. Kobe is tied with me until he get his 6 ring. West - Kobe will go down as the greatest laker of all time.

  • magic said kobe is tied with him, but if kobe get another ring. he be better than him. And magic is better than larry, fuck stats. magic beat larry in the pros and in college. both had 2 or 3 hall of famers for 90% of thier careers, while kobe had one hall of famer. Gasol is awesome but NOT a hall of famer, ask reggie miller

  • Player efficiency ratings. Kobe and bird are tied at 23.5, but kobe has dominated for a longer period and is looked as the best player today by The Great Larry Bird.

  • In fact, Kobe was not only a better 3pt shooter in the post-season, he took far more, and made far more. For those that claim that Bird was a better 3pt shooter...he MADE 80 in 164 post-season games...and on a .321 percenatge. Kobe has made 275 in 208 post-season games, and on a .335 percentage.

  • but kobe is a way better scorer, one on one defender. they both have high basketball IQs and both are clutch. but larry averaged more turnovers. and in assist kobe is not far from bird, with kobe having 4.7 and bird 6.3. so larry was a slightly better passer and a better rebounder. but kobe would kill larry one on one. ask larry who is better

  • Shaq is the 2nd greatest player of all time behind MJ

  • I don't care who revolutionized the game of basketball. That is not the question. The question is who is the best player. Me, being a Kobe fan, can say that MJ was the best to play the game. If MJ is the template to which we compare all basketball players to then Kobe has to be the second best player. If the question is who revolutionized the game, then that's a whole other issue.

  • NIGGAS IS CRAZY..KOBE DOESNT EVEN GOT THE STATS,

YALL SEEN THIS YEAR?? NIGGA NEEDS TO RETIRE.

  • i agree tht he is number 6..i dont think hes btr thn kareem....yet... if he lets another ring or 2.....its over

  • Wow!!!! Sir Charles I can't believe you underrate yourself like that.

Kobe is not top 10 at all. Wow if you put Kobe in the top 5 you are just a plain old hater. your're putting Kobe over Larry, Magic, Kareem, Wilt, Russel, Hakeem, the Big O,Timmy D, Shaq, Karl Malone, Moses Malone, and even sir Charles Barkely?????? wow i can't believe Charles said that. Seriously people dont' be prisoners of the moment, look back at all of the Greats. i didn't even mention MJ (for obvious reasons)

  • people say kobe is no where close to mj but you gotta respect kobe for attempting to copy mjs game and obviously hes done a damn god job of it if hes being compared to jordan in the first place

  • kenny is just a hater!!!

  • he is the best you idiots, some players who were good 30 years ago would suck in nowadays nba

  • @DZG thats just stupid to say

  • Kobe is not the 2nd greatest player of all time.

These young kids, who only see highlights of MJ and see Kobe play live believe he is the 2nd best. Kobe's in the top 5 of all time, probably 4th or 5th. Oscar Robertson averaged a triple double in one season, we all know what Wilt did, Bill Russell was one of the greatest Defenders of ALLTIME and he had 11 rings, and MJ is simply MJ. I might put Kobe ahead of Bill based on talent and skill level though.

  • @quakertown lets see oscar avg a triple double today, bill russel defend dwight howard, not gonna happen!!! kobe is da second best player of all time

  • @xXEliteBaller24Xx

I know you're a Kobe fan because you got 24 on your account name. Besides the point though, you can't put another player who played in a different era and put him into this one. That's absurd. When Oscar and Bill were playing, they were going against the best competition of their time. Just like how Kobe and Howard are going against the best of our time. 20 years from now, we'll ask ourselves, let's see if Kobe can be Kobe in this era. Who knows ?
