@eRn1O Usually when you set up a password it won't work, I don't know the reason. So, you need to do similar to what I did in the video. Beside, if one connects to the wifi then no one else will be able to, because as I recall it takes only one user to connect.

I think this won't work if your only connection to the internet is through wireless

Iike me so when I'm in "Sharing" tab and I Click "select a private network connection" I can't find "Wireless Network Connection" only LAN. Also when I make a new ad hoc I can only be connected to 1 connection so to make a New one I need to disconnect the wireless network that provides me with internets :P

So, it works on everything.

You need to test since you got the equipment, testing will not harm you.

@DroidsHD Of course you need a source to the internet to use the laptop's wifi.

The point of this tutorial is when you are at work as an example; and they only provide cable internet for computers. By this tutorial you can connect your laptop to the cable and make your laptop as a wifi so that your other devices can connect too.

hey... i used to use this method but lately i find it impossible...after i create the wireless network, the network i created that should be seen to be shown as 'connected' is seemed to be 'waiting for users to connect'.how to connect the wireless network back? =(

@sherlynn009 It says "waiting for users" because no one is connected to it. So you need to connect to the network by ur iPhone/iPad...etc

Search for the network then connect to it.

@sherlynn009 Do you see the icon next to the time/date in your taskbar?

If yes, click on it till you see the list of available networks, also when you see the network you've created and it says "waiting for users"

Now, dont close the list leave it open/showing the connections..

Now, from your phone try to search for the network, and you should see it.
