i have tachycardia and have several episodes which have resulted in the inability to move and very painful sharp stabs.
my average heart rate is about 100-105. sometimes 120-125.
if i run or do any cardio like a good sprint, then it goes to about 160 till i can hear my own heartbeat in my head and need to rest for like 35 minutes.
it is always over 100. and nobody has found anything with tests and so forth- am i in danger anytime soon?
I've had Tachycardia when I was in my early twenties I was so scared that I thought I was going to die. I almost fell over with my most recent tachycardia episode. Luckily, my heart rate returned to normal.
This question might seem stupid, but can one actually DIE of tachycardia??? I am afraid that I have that very often, even though I was diagnosed with general anxiety and panic attacks. The cardiologist said that my heart was fine, but I don't know anymore... So?
Hi whoever you are, I NEED to talk to you!! I have been to doctors and ER several times with tachycardia and they say is panic attacks, but you are describing it so well, as I never heard anyone!! Its exactly how I feel, as if there is a button on my heart that switches and it goes completely out of control. I also have blurred and double vision and my head goes weird. Help me!!
I had that in '06; my last long term spell nearly killed me. It lasted for 3 hours, at 200 bpm.

I have had several episodes over the last year where I wake up with my heart pounding like a machine gun.
Thats what led me to this video.
I am 32 and whenI wake up it is beating ALOT faster than when I would run. I do drink soda and I smoke.
I do not drink alot of alcohol.
I am 5'10'' and 170lbs.
Any thoughts on what might be causeing my episodes...??
Some stated it may be sleep apnea..
