  • wheres this episide 2? its been like 4 years lol. but good vid if u still look at comments.

  • i have been told to just use little bit of water and a q tip

  • i always just used q tips

  • why you people dont care about the SEGA MASTER SYSTEM ? i find that console Amazing with a Start up graphic and a Beautiful design ...........

  • I really like your video please do more

  • When I began cleaning my cartridge video games, I cleaned my NES games first, I was shocked at how dirty they were, no wonder my NES was always giving me the blinking problem. They worked so much better after I cleaned them. I even opened up the NES and cleaned everything in it, including the 72 pin connector. It works almost perfect every time.

I haven't had to replace the 72 pin connector yet.

  • could you please make an NES outer console cleaning vid??????

  • the reason games on a Nintendo system don't work i because you pushed the game down... so you aren't supposed to push down games.....

  • I cant belive this worked, good video thanks.

  • what happens the other 10% of the time?

  • @TheMagicman245 it doessnt work

  • "if your a slob" lol :D

  • Wow. Yu said u would make more vids and u havent for 3 years. WTF

  • omg it works now i can enjoy my nintendo again

  • Thx! cant wait to try!

  • can you just dip the q-tip in water to clean the cartridge or would that damage it?

  • Worked. Now I can get back to playing Silent Service.

  • omg!!! yess it works! thank uuuuu, my nintendo hasn't worked in over a year.

  • One last thing, If a cart is not completely dry it'll oxidize the 72 pin connector and could cause your NES to blink for about 24hrs until the 72 pin dries.

  • Windex IS the best and safest way to clean cartridges. Alcohol is a bit too harsh and dries the cartridge connectors so much that it tends to lightly grind against the 72pin which throws you back to square 1 after a couple of plays. Brasso just literally starts fading away the connectors, good for the board connectors when lightly used. Windex keeps the cartridge cleaner for a much longer time and protects instead.

  • Grow your hair back!

  • yea it was cool make more

  • make more

  • i thought it was good

  • wii windex work on an n64 jumper socket?

  • I don't recommend smelling windes, no bad.

  • I personally recomend Brasso, Alcohol, and lint free cloths (u can get from any wal-mart automotive area). Works better than windex and q-tips.

  • fucking liar this doesent work

  • @texyanks25 yea it does dude

    it always fixes my games

  • @Uchihamaster455 yeah ik it does i dont no y i wrote that.

  • I think this is dangerous, the best form ist disable de plastic cover.

  • ive done it on all my games and it works great. AND it might be smart to change your connector too

  • yes! it worked thanks man

  • how do you beat wizpig on diddykong racing

  • you cant he will destroy your child hood

  • ericmsandoval is a dumbass

  • @ voltox3 yeah, man I'm a dumbass because I know that by him pouring WINDEX in the cartridge, it leaves residue which could damage the game. I'm also a dumbass because I already know everything that covered in this 10 MINUTE video. Name-calling at home behind your computer is the SHIT, isn't it?

  • No it works great. i use windex and it works great. Sure you have to be catious and really get the job done. but it works. all my 11 nes games works fine now

  • @Napalmburns all 11 of them? lol

  • @ericmsandoval oh im sorry then all my 4325152 games. does it really matter how many? i tried on all of them and it works idiot

  • @Napalmburns lol

  • a waste of a good utube username by the way,i would love to get a hold of this acount, hey if ur not uisng it, pm me the password please!!!

  • the best way would be to squirt the qtips, you are getting inside the cart where you cant get it, and the front sticker may get damaged from the windex.

  • wow it worked thanks

  • wouldn't it be easier to just spray the Q-tips with Windex?

  • Dude... You're funny!

  • thanks it worked get. at first the nintendo blinked and i was upsey but 1 push of the reset button and i was in buisness

  • @ericmsandoval

You'd be surprised how many people get it wrong. What about newcomers to the NES who were born after the cartridge era? My 5 year old brother, for example.

Since he tells you how to do it clearly, every step of the way, you have no right to call him a moron.

  • he's a MORON because he's pouring WINDEX in the cartridge...which leaves residue...which could damage the game. Either way, this video shouldn't be any longer than 5 minutes.

  • That's where the ear buds come in...

  • ur at risk of suspension for sayin shit

  • @ goldengun5980 suspension? How about you get off your ass and go outside.

  • u wanna piece of me? huh? asshole bring it punk..u want god to kill us all? BRING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*Pulls out shotgun* think about what will happen if life was boring dick souless *puts bullets*

  • I got mine in for christmas (yes, I'm a nerd) so I'll try this out before I try playing them

  • Thanks Dude. All my games work now even though i haven't played in 3 whole years!

  • This is not how to fix nes games you just dump a whole can of cheese whiz over them and then put it in the mircowave fixes it in seconds!

  • mine is gray even without the game inside like I turn on my nes and with no game inside and ind it flashes grey is that normal

  • it also works with a gameboy

  • that helped me alot.:)

  • hey any one want to help my copy of 7 up spot seems to have a color problem the screen is darker than it should help please

  • how to clean the system!

  • Liar! it does not work! Well, I haven't really tried to do it. Just kidding!

  • actually, if you dip a dirty q tip into a bottle of rubbing alcohol it will CONTAMINATE the entire bottle, make sure when you use a q tip you use the CLEAN tip!

  • u should use half rubbing alcohol and half room temp water on a few q tips light amount and then use dry

  • thats stupid u should not use windex !!! DONT sniff windex either lol what a idiot

  • its okay, it works on All Atari systems i tried it

  • Okay, where are the other videos? I'm looking forward to more.

  • i need help. my smb 3 just flashes the curtain from the intro. i tried cleaning it but it still does the same thing. the bottom of the cartridge on the pins in the middle they look faded or removed. whats wrong. can someone please post a comment answer my question. any help would be appreciated. thanx.

  • I want to know what is the best way to clean the outside of the Cartridge itself, dont you use some sort of polish?

  • Dip a q-tip in water to clean the contact points on the game. You can use alcohol, but dont soak the q-tip in it. If you do clean your games with q-tips completely soaked in alcohol all the time it will ruin the contact points on your cart based games.

  • Whoops, I was actually talking about the Cartridge itself, not the Contact Points...I want the actual Plastic Grey case itself to look new.

I heard someone mentioning to use baby whipes(?lol) I forgot what it was...They make the games look shiny and brand new

  • Oh, Apparently I didn't read your comment closely. It is late here,so yeah. I have not heard any ways to clean any cart based games. I do own a few,so thanks for the info.

  • it works!!!

  • im scared to do this. doesn't it say not to clean with alcohol on the back of the cartridge

  • lol it doesnt do anything, i do it with all of my cartrge games. just dont put it in soaking and dripping, just take of some excess and put some presure of the pins, and that it lol

  • hey man thanks it worked!!5/5 and i subbed

  • make more

  • Maybe you could start reviewing some NES games.

  • Make More Videos!

  • nice vid

  • yes there is game/video channel its made on TVs for game that use AV jacks the only way to use it is by pressing game or video on your TV remote

  • can yall fix my nes

  • im gonna give it a try on my bomberman 2, i usually have to take about 10-15 tries to get it working ... cheers ^^

  • hmm windex and Q-tips good idea ^^

Just a feedback you talk to much off topic, you might wanna try to stay on the topic, and not talk to much at the start how to set your TV, the parts how to use the windex and qtips and how to insert the cartridge is good, just try to stay on the topic that you are making a video about, cheers, 3 starz m8

  • I found some damaged games for my nes...well I found then in the rain in a box, about 15 years ago...and obviously they were glitchy...this works tho...

  • WTF dude dont spray windex into the game...spray the Qtip...geez

  • well you see windex is actually an all surface cleaner and it can help to clean the game cartridge i hope this helped...

  • he never make and new episode i think

  • i thought that rubing alcohol messed it up and it would make more corrosion .

  • I used 99% Rubbing Alcohol to clean NES games and its works perfect.

  • it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Playstation sucks ass

  • my frikken mario bros is not working!!!!! I NEED A NEW ONE I GUESS! AHHHHHHH!

  • Nintendo collector i have send you tons of messages please you not answer why you blocked me can you anti blocked me please answer

  • why you not making more vids

  • because this is a secondary channel.

  • thanks im gonna do that to my mario bros lol btw i have a question and a request in your next episode do it about what to do and what not to do

  • Thanks 4 telling me this I had a SNES game that was broken 4 months and I try'd play it today it did not work but when I use'd the windex today and now it works :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

  • In the 1980s I used rubbing alcohol and q-tips. works perfectly. also, im not sure if you know or not but you can take a second game cartridge and put in in the nintendo while the first one is still in the system. make sure the second cartridge is in backwards. (2 cartridges in at once) gotta love the 80s!!

  • Cool video. But I have a quisten. My DS game won't work.I put the game in and it says there is no DS game inserted. I took the game out and blew in the cartrige and put it back in and it said the same thing. Can you guys help me?

  • could i use anything other than Q Tips

  • Cloth.

  • AWESOME!

  • Cooktop cleaner or Mr Metal will work wonders when applied to the contacts of your games.

  • This is great, the video is fine and im gona try this right now. Hope you make more.

  • Windex + a new 72 pin = Perfection

  • How about you do a video on cleaning disc games?

  • theres this guy called householdhacker he knows how 2 do it

  • Okay.Thanks.

  • it worked wow! nice!

  • Fairly good method, I used to use it myself. Problem is the solvents used (windex, rubbing alcohol, etc.) will oxidize the cartridge contacts, which is exacerbated by the fact that you can't dry the contacts immediately.

I use a scouring pad, which works 100% of the time, though it requires a security bit to open the cart. See my videos if you're interested.

  • ok, i tryed it, it doesnt excactly work. do you have to leave the windex in for a certain amount of time? oh and we were out of windex my mom said there was something just like windex but good for the environment or something, so it just went back to flashing. is there any other problems? maybe the nes is dirty. try and make a guide to clean the actual nes

  • yes your in luck, and this goes for anyone whos nintendo still didnt work after this next episode will be how to change a 72-bit pin connector ! (thats what makes the nintendo work )

  • so y hav u still not done it after 11 months?

  • thats great i have to go try it

  • Hey this is davidyugioh i found it & good

test episode i'll be looking forward to

seeing the rest keep up the good work =)

  • Thanks tht helped alot

  • Awesome music!

  • thats colllll !!!!!!!!!

  • what should i do if the inside of the NES is the problem? thank you!

  • thanks my GBA games are working now

  • Is there anyway to mess up the connectors by "over-cleaning?"

  • I'm surprised that some people still think their dirty games are broken and sell them. It's so easy to clean them. Good vid

  • my dad when i was seven thought the whole nes was broken so he sold now i m older i m sad bout that :(

  • thanks for the advice
