A little movie trivia. A Capt. Shepard was not The Director Of Ops., a fellow by the name of Edwards was. Dana Wynter was not only a most beautiful woman she had a songbird's voice to boot, a much underutilised actress in my book. 11/11/11 Lest We Forget.

What appalling music! When you think The Dambusters theme was written 5 years before this is an absolute disgrace. It is totally unsuited to a film showing the deaths of 1000s of men. As the man said, the battle did not involve Americans so why the awful twang. Hard to match Coates I guess, but really .......
