THIS GIVES ME HOPE!!! my baby is slow on her developement......my newborn has been in the hospital since Nov 1 2011 with SEVERE brain trauma--broken ribs and legs--BABYSITTER ISNT TALKING TO ..HPD.. which led to the removal of my 2 other kids..i will have a long fight to get my 2 oldest back..MY MAIN FOCUS WILL BE ON CONSTANTLY PRAYING FOR MY NEWBORN that is still in the hospital...today is Jan. 8th 2012...THANKS FOR THE STRENGTH...i am sooo mentally drained..im sooooo tired of crying.

I would never let someone see my child again if they had shaken them regardless if there was supervision and what courts may have ordered, ect. I would change names, looks, everything and take off a long ways away. I'm so glad she survived.

this babys father us scum if this was my baby he wouldnt have any contact with my child, how dare he call himself a father, hes not hes a monster, someone should do the same to him as what he did to his daughter, i hope she finds all of this out when shes older and wants nothing to do with him, my daughters father was so nasty to me that she doesnt want contact with her father, and because he was and always will be scum thats kool with me,,,,,,, as for daniella i wish u happiness and joy xxx

I'm so glad she is ok, she is such beautiful girl. I have a 9 months old boy, and God, he drives me crazy @ times but I try to think I'm here to make things pleasant for him and give him the best of me, not the worst.

@TerachiShinya Why did he get off entirely? Child abuse is a crime and it would seem the DA would charge him with injury to a child. The broken ribs were likely caused by being held tightly and CPR can break ribs.

SBS reported to CPS and the parents lost custody of their tiny, preemie baby, who do not have a bruise on her body. She continues to live normal. sbsdefense(dot)org has superb information and factual data to correctly identify SBS.

I hope she keeps getting better with time. :)

How many child abuser are never charged, how many child killers gets to hear the words "not guilty". I dont even wanna know. This world aint fear for our little once. :(

@TerachiShinya Kim Stevens was charged with shaking a baby she was babysitting. The DA dropped charges and a couple of years later, she killed two-year-old Jorden Grace; blunt force trauma to the head, stomping Jorden's stomach caused a perforated gut, and quick death.

The mother of the baby Stevens shook, picketed the courthouse in Gainesville TX w- Jorden's Mommy, until Stevens was arrested and tried. Stevens got LWOP.

The DA said Stevens was the worst serial child abuser she had known.

My baby brother was shaken when he was 2 months old by his father at hospital it was found he had 4 broken ribs 2 broken thigh bones and his head swelled 3x the size. He survived but he is blind, can't walk or talk and has severe brain damage. What makes me so angry is that no-one was punished for this because my mother and her husband blamed each other and they stayed together. I hope the both of them rot in HELL.

@katryn3 Luke was taken into foster care my mum did get him back for a while but I phoned social services to have him taken away because she was always drunk and on drugs. He has been in foster care for 8 years now.
