I rememeber getting Thunder in the East by mistake from Columbia House back in `85.. when I opened the package and saw them me and my friends laughed our asses off. Then we played the album.... laugh turned to awe... and have been a big fan ever since. SOOOOO glad I forgot to send the mail back to them and tell them I didn't want that album !

Munetaka died from Leukemia. He underwent diligent medical therapy but regretfully deceased in Dec. 2008. Since then rest of the Loudness members and Ampan man, the new drummer replacement have been touring and releasing albums ... RIP Munetaka san...

LOUDNESS were the shit thunder in the east is one of the best heavy metal albums released in the 80's although there were tons of great LP's this was one of them. Akira just kills it on his killer.
