I always laughed at people who talk about famous people as though they know them. But watching Darren go from Little white lie and AVPM to glee and seeing where he is now is amazing. I see all the time where he picks a street in LA and just starts singing. He is someone who will never stop being shocked about how much his fans love him. I vow to myself I will meet him.
I started to cry the hardest when all his friends came and hugged him. Oh my goodness I am sobbing that was beautiful. Yet the whole time I kept thinking "oh it's going to suck if he forgets the words"

This is so beautiful. After all the success he's had, for him to sing with so much emotion about his starkid "home" just goes to show what a family they are. What a family we all are, really. When you see his Glee fans drool over him and ship him with Chris, that's fine and all, but I just can't help but think that they dont understand him. But to see his friends hug him and the joy he gets from preforming with them... well, that's the real Darren right there, not just the hot holiwood persona.

When I first saw this I cried so hard just seeing the Starkids (Except for Bonnie but she cant draw) together choked me up....... And people just hate that Darren is on Glee but he takes time off just for this show and to hang with his fellow Starkids I think that shows character but thats just my opinion
@mandys315 Joey Richter lives with Darren in Los Angeles. He moved in with Darren after he graduated from University of Michigan last spring so he could look for work in LA as an actor. Darren and Joey are best friends in real life.
God, that was sung so beautifully, and I agree with the comments that in the past couple of years his vocals have only gone from strength to strength- and just how wonderful that he knows, whatever happens in his career, he will always have his friends from university right there. Made me teary.

That was one of the most wonderful things I've ever seen. I swear he was almost crying during that, and the StarKid group hug just made me squeal. I have made it my life's ambition to see them live- if only they would go on tour or something! This may sound like fangirl sillyness, but I think he really means what he's singing. I've heard him say in interviews that despite working on Glee so much he would never leave StarKid because it's part of him, and that's just one of the reasons we <3 him.

I can relate to this song. It's not just an AVPS song to me. For a person that struggled getting kicked out from home to home for doing nothing wrong it's hard to find a place to you know call a home or to be happy. This helped me a lot. Darren's helped me in his own little way and I'm grateful.

I started crying when I saw Darren's eyes sparkle towards the end, like he was trying to suppress tears. And then all of them, you can tell they are so INCREDIBLY proud of him. Joey's face when hugging him. Brian watching him sing. Nicky Lang just sitting back there with a grin watching him. This is like Darren's anthem. I hope I get to see him live someday. Hopefully he'll come to the Southern Jersey/Philadelphia area sometime!

@loisandclarklover He is absolutely the sweetest guy on the face of the planet. We had chances to talk with him for about 10-15 min on 2 different days. He called me by name when I walked in the room after only seeing me in a long autograph line earlier that day and gave me a big hug. We talked about Glee Live, StarKid, San Francisco, stuff that happened on tour, etc. Says he can rest when he's old. Going to keep going full blast as long as possible. He is a nutball and we <3 him!

@bashful1881 I was in the 4th row, but I also have an awesome camera with 35x zoom.. Canon PowerShot SX 30 IS. Takes fabulous photos and video and simple to operate. Unfortunately no tripod with me so occasional shakiness as all my videos were filmed freeholding the camera. I had RockStar passes for this with preferred seating. Well worth the price. The entire performance was just outstanding! I less than three Darren Criss and StarKid.
I cried so much. StarKid will forever be Darren's home... No matter where his success has taken him.

This man is the sweetest, most humble, charming guy I have ever met. And so so thankful for his fans. My hubby and I were completely blown away by him. Remembered my name and called me by it the next day. And his hugs are awesome! We love him too. And the StarKids are great. We met them too! Fun group!

That was one of the most wonderful things I've ever seen. I swear he was almost crying during that, and the StarKid group hug just made me squeal. I have made it my life's ambition to see them live- if only they would go on tour or something! This may sound like fangirl sillyness, but I think he really means what he's singing. I've heard him say in interviews that despite working on Glee so much he would never leave StarKid because it's part of him, and that's just one of the reasons we <3 him.

Please watch Teenage Dream and Stutter on my youtube channel ..both were filmed at his Chicago concert. Stutter shows some of his awesome musical talent (guitar and drums) and Teenage Dream with the cellphone call was funny then touching near the end when he thanked his fans. He is the sweetest man on the planet and meeting him was one of the best moments of my life.See him live if you can!!!

you can tell just how proud they are of him. joey on the verge of tears, brolden smiling, nick holding him tight. he has come so far in such a short time, but this is where he will always belong. the glee kids may say that he belongs with them but he belongs with Team Starkid. I can relate to this song. It's not just an AVPS song to me. For a person that struggled getting kicked out from home to home for doing nothing wrong it's hard to find a place to you know call a home or to be happy. This helped me a lot. Darren's helped me in his own little way and I'm grateful.

I started crying when I saw Darren's eyes sparkle towards the end, like he was trying to suppress tears. And then all of them, you can tell they are so INCREDIBLY proud of him. Joey's face when hugging him. Brian watching him sing. Nicky Lang just sitting back there with a grin watching him. This is like Darren's anthem. I hope I get to see him live someday. Hopefully he'll come to the Southern Jersey/Philadelphia area sometime!

@loisandclarklover He is absolutely the sweetest guy on the face of the planet. We had chances to talk with him for about 10-15 min on 2 different days. He called me by name when I walked in the room after only seeing me in a long autograph line earlier that day and gave me a big hug. We talked about Glee Live, StarKid, San Francisco, stuff that happened on tour, etc. Says he can rest when he's old. Going to keep going full blast as long as possible. He is a nutball and we <3 him!

@loisandclarklover A lot of us got choked up watching this. You can feel and see every emotion when he sings. He is so totally awesome to watch live. The energy in that room was incredible. Darren is the sweetest, most humble man I have ever met. He is truly grateful for each and every fan. He told me he wouldn't be where he is without all of us and he doesn't forget it for one single second. My husband and I had private meet and greets with him 7/15 and 7/16 at LeakyCon 2011, Oh, and he gives awesome hugs, by the way!

@bashful1881 I was in the 4th row, but I also have an awesome camera with 35x zoom.. Canon PowerShot SX 30 IS. Takes fabulous photos and video and simple to operate. Unfortunately no tripod with me so occasional shakiness as all my videos were filmed freeholding the camera. I had RockStar passes for this with preferred seating. Well worth the price. The entire performance was just outstanding! I less than three Darren Criss and StarKid.
