If this film was an original work and not based on an M-rated videogame, it'd be so watered down. They'd be like, "Thank goodness those men had already passed on," when the crew gets infected and, "We've neutralized all hostiles and have put them into stasis," when fighting necromorphs. Also, there would be no blood and mutations would all be off-screen and the guns would fire lasers. Oh yeah, and no cursing.

The animation style reminds me of Chronicle of Riddick: Dark Fury. Propably the same studio. But the story and good voiceacting made me curious to watch it. I read about them doing this, and it seems like it will ber a good way to do a tie-in without shopping it around in Hollywood and eventually having Uwe Bolls hands on it. Doing it somewhat in house, with creative control, should do wonders for the genre.

Exactly. The aliens are sorta alike too, they're bug like almost. Its like a combination of "The Thing" and "Alien." I don't know why some people don't like the art style in the movie. It has a sorta "American Anime" feel to it.

The Thing and Aliens (the 2nd one, "ALIENS") are my favorite movies of all time. The more i learn abut deadspace from the comics and this trailer, the more excited I become. These guys went from working on other peoples T games to making their own M game once EA gave them the green light. I hope one day i can animate a cool horror movie like this with such a rich story and awesome game behind it. God I'm going to have way to much fun dismemebring monsters!
