Hi there! great tune. I have a question, both sequences are fromthe Q119? inthatcase how did you get the variation of rhythms? since ths bass is doing 1,2,3 and the 4 is silcence and the othersequence is in 1/8's
I remember when I thought like that: to get what other guys have here on YouTube. I'm still waaay behind most of the performers here but I think making that first step and buying a couple of modules to start with isn't that hard financially.
If you're looking for an analog modular synth then Roger at synthesizers[dot]com has a 12 month Entry Sys plan ($120 each month but you don't have to pay religiously EVERY month) to get you started. But yes, vintage analogs aren't cheap!
Hi! good piece. I'll be recording a video soon, since I change the way I arrange my set up. Now, I can have 3 different sequencers (the Q119, MC 50 and MMt 8) running in paralel so the trance is awesome!
Aren't we all a little bit of a space dreamer? Very funny detail: your dog arrives on the scene as the sequence starts. Overall a very decent improvisation.
wow nice and deep and spacey....:0)

@marsupialmicron
Hey! Glad u like it :)
It was a while ago and I'm not sure I remember correctly what I did that time, but normally what I do is:
- use first row for your 'normal' 8-step sequence
- use 2nd row for the bass, just tweak knobs that u need the sound from really
- use 3rd row to control either EG or filter to cut out the unwanted sounds
That's basically the whole trick, which is quite nice I think cos u have 2 sequences (quite independently) run by 1 sequencer :)
