I watched the TVB serial version before happening upon the movie version here. I liked the serial but found the movie to be so much better. Anita Yuen put in a career performance as Ah Min, a vivacious, positive and so likeable tragic character. Lau Ching Wan and Anita had great chemisty in the movie. Bravo!!! I am male as well but I must confess that my eyes were misty at the end of the movie. What a tragic and brilliant end to the movie...

I find that serial lacked real chemistry between the leads; she's too young and it made him look like he's robbing the cradle rather than a couple in love.

I can't say enough how much I love this movie. The story is beautiful and touching. I love the female character by Anita Yeung - she is full of life, optimist and understanding. I laughed so much and cried by the sad ending.

OMG OMG OMG.. i actually HAVE seen this movie before!! a long time ago when i was a very little girl.. yes it was very sad... i don't remmeber much of the movie but one thing that helped me remember it was him running to the market to buy puddings he came back and anita was dead.
