ahh people annoy me sometimes...there is a wasp nest on a tree next to the table on our patio which I decided to leave and see if they would attack us. That was like 3 years ago and they haven't stung anybody even once. I even trust them enough now that I can put my face right next to it and they are fine. People should give wasps a chance before they destroy their homes..
That's why you take a can of raid if you are going to remove that nest. So that Mess at night so not only you can execute wasps, but also remove the nest.
When I was a kid my dad rolled up newspaper, lit the end and when it was ablaze stuck it up under the wasp nests and killed them and then would just knock it down. So pressed for time I recently tried that method to a big paper wasps nest because we had to get it down to do some work.... big mistake thousands of wasps came pouring out straight at me, the nest kept burning and nearly set the wood shed on fire it was attached to. I'm going back to the can of spray and waiting till dark :D
Brings back the memory of my father taking on a hornets nest when I was young. He was stung several times. I am sure if I mentioned it to him now he would laugh a little bit.
