@jdgolf499 This is from a New Year's Eve special that ran on Dec. 31,1976. It was shown on Nick at Nite or TV Land in the mid 90s as part of a "Puff-a-Palooza special. Tina Turner was one of the other guests.
Am I nuts to say that this sounds like some bizarre amalgam of Bubblegum Rock with Emerson, Lake & Palmer?
These guys could play and sing. 'Course, some sweetening by studio cats like Rich Dixon (on guitar) didn't hurt. But still -- this was pretty impressive.
I been a osmond fan since I was 15 year's and Donny Got Married on my 18 birthday in 1978 so I share a special day with him lol......a Osmond fan forever. donny is cuter. Cute marie real cute lol
I loved me some Osmond Brothers when I was a little girl in the 70s! These boys were gorgeous and talented! What I like about this song is that they all take a turn singing!
WOW! I love this song! I remember my friend from Donny.com gave me an mp3 of this song and I listened to it over and over again and wondered how the video looks like. I know its great and it was! I love this video!
wish Donny would play more piano....

I can't figure out the costumes. Were they trying to look like glam rockers, P-funk allstars, or the pimp from Starsky and Hutch?
afghanhound 4 years ago
Yes,they are a true band not only played the instraments but wrote their own music.
candiecane3158 4 years ago
they're actually not bad, a real band, if they weren't 'the osmonds" rock fans would say this was good...

Like The Osmonds or not, this is a GREAT Song! They should of recorded it and released it as a single. It would of have been a rock classic.
