@erbello You can't; CIP asked us to design this concept, then fucked us over and tried to hire other artists to create it.

Unfortunately, other artists don't know the game nor can figure out how to make an Oblique perspective become 3d as it is (technically) impossible.

Basically, they need me to make it, but they already fucked me over for it and don't have the balls to admit they realised that they really do need me, so this isn't going to happen.

I spent 3 days working on this concept which they asked me to. The only reason I would do that without signing a contract is because of the opportunity of this actually going ahead, which should without question mean that I get paid to do this work. They decided to do it and to use someone else to do it after asking me to provide the concept, and did not pay me.

@NintendoNerdnr1 The tiles are infact 3D objects with their relative sprites as textures on them occupying 3D space within a 3D environment which gives them their perspective, no code trickery; this was rendered in Maya from a camera panning over the scene.

3D isnt defined by how well th camera shows th fact of dimensionality to a viewer. What ur sayin is th same as takin th observer camera in (for your sake) an FPS to way above th level, lookin down, n saying "hey thats nt 3D!"

@Misioo1231 there's no video on your link but i can guess what it goes to.. and 3D can't easily keep tibia's stylisation as you saw there, and that couldn't be rendered in realtime anyway.

This recreation, no matter how subtely stylised, is a 3D environment, the objects do actually stand up in it, and a 3D floating camera is the viewpoint.. theres no "thats 3d!? this is 3d!" lol =)
