do you honesty think dean could still sing that way if he was in BF?? ask brian johnson or joe elliott if they can still pull it off, better yet, youtube them back in the day and now, and you'll hear what i mean. i know your sentiment about the original lineup, but billy, greg, henry, and jamie still put out a good product that retains the feel and the sound of the music.
