It seems that everyone is against these animations, and normally I am no fan of the stickman format, how I think in this case it provides a perfect illustration for the jokes.  Having overly-wrought animation would detract from the joke (which is the point of the whole thing), yet this style is minimalist enough to visually demonstrate the joke w/o the distraction. I say go with it!
