rabbits are just absolutely adorable!! I have just found the most beautiful boy holly in need of a home I think im going to get him, not sure yet... I want to start showing you see? And so my mom thinks it would be better for me to get a fully pedigreed since he is only partially hes 6months so yeah im not quite sure yet but ill make videos when i get him//her
haha, his name is lou... the video explaining everything got deleted so now nothing makes sence. i used to think he was a girl and i called him toula until he got older and i discovered his "boy parts". Now it's Lou :)
Yeah it was kinda a shock to find out, but it is important to know... once they hit about 6 months old their gender will effect how they act, and then you'll have to take pickle to get "fixed".. .its very important.. you probably know this already but a good percentage of rabbits will contract cancer at around 2 years of age if you do not have them fixed. it also helps with behavioral issues. Lou was neutered at 6 months and Ellie (my new rabbit from the shelter) has an appointment on the 12th
Yeah Ellie has a bit of an attitude issue at this point... Lou actually seems a bit afraid of her... which surprises me, i thought he would be the dominant... i was very luck with lou, i managed to get him neutered before he got really bad... ellie is a bit rough with lou so hopefully having her fixed will settle her down. Sorry to hear you're feeling ill. get well soon.
they are 2 rabbits, and they are from tolouse france, so one is toula and the other lou, since french dont like the usa tulouse-usa= tula+lou (no usa),
It can be.. not exactly though... Bunnies have some different characteristics than cats... but eventually they can be trained to use a litter pan properly so they run around your house rather than staying in the cage most of the time. Lou..(thats his name now that i know he's a boy) Only goes in his cage when i'm not home.. The rest of the time he just hops around the apartment.
iMovie HD On my mac book pro. i did upgrade to the new Ilife08 but the Imovie on there sucked so i got my old version back. Its what allows me to time the images to the beats in the music!
The vet reccomended the treats she has... i'll check the brand name... but they're made of alfalfa meal and carrot so they're not as high sugar and they're great for teeth.
When Toto was younger, i fed her snack and pellets (those with many color), I didnt realize she was overweight until she got sore hore. So i cut the snack and changed the pellet to those with brown color only) as adv by Vet. I fed her 1 table spoon pellets a day and unlimited timothy grass. She recovered from her sore hore! So i guess it is important to watch out bunnies' weight..as they like to eat.
yep its really important. These treats i have for her now are great... super healthy, but EXPENSIVE... and all the other treats you can buy are junk which is why i want to learn to bake my own. My mum used to do that for our dog becuase she had to have a very special diet, so we just baked her soft dog food to make cookies... she loved it and THOUGHT she was getting special treats :)
Carrots have quite a bit of sugar in it but they are okay for rabbits... as long as you dont over do it. Some people do all carrot diets (thankyou cartoons for that stupid steriotype) which is horrible but SOMETIMES is fine... although some rabbits react differently to it than others.
oh 2-3days is good enough. Timothy is their life time grass and water of course. I was told carrot is high in sugar, its too fat and not good to teeth. You can feed Toula vegetables (Boy Choy. Toto loves it!) as snack. But remember to feed her bit by bit, since bunnies get sensitive intenstine.
Don't worry... toula gets a hand full of alfalfa ever 2-3 days... she gets a half a cup of pellets ever night and unlimited timothy hay. The treats are rare... she is allowd one a week and they are made of dehydrated carrot and alfalfa (dont ask me how.. I want to learn to bake treats at home but i haven't learned yet.). She's about 4 months old but i can't be sure because we weren't exactly sure of her age when i got her.
She is so cute. She looks like my rabbit Toto. Hey what is Taula eating? From her size I guess she is about 3 mths old? At her age, she just needs some Alfafa grass to get more protein to build up muscle. Snack is a big no to rabbit.
awwww this rabbit is sooo cute... I have two rabbits and they r both very naughty :p

yes your are right :)
pickle always struggles when we lift him up and his attidude will grow more angry as he hits puberty becuase thats the way males go.
and getting your rabbit fixed can calm them down so you can enjoy your rabbit.
opps have to go my ear is boiling on fire and i cant here properly i think im catching a cold :( ow
