  • oooooooo nooooooo

  • typical dodge blowing up transmissions JUNK!

  • @slowscort You mean typical cummins ripping apart anything behind it! You think your precious ford trans or allison could do better? let's see them try! The problem isn;t a bad trans, it;s too much engine!

  • @caniwitech Dodge transmissions in general suck even on the gassers.

  • @caniwitech, there is a guy here in iowa, he owns and runs the bananamax yellow duramax, that is a high HP output (never been able to get a straight number out of them) and they are running an allison and to my knowledge they havent had a tranny problem yet.

  • @JustinHansen6669 Very cool.

  • @caniwitech, actually it is pretty sweet.. they are still having problems with the engine and getting things set right with it but its a pretty strong duramax. they took 1st in a class with a guy that almost never gets beat in an 09 or 2010 dodge 1 ton cummins.. his truck is pretty decent aswell. i have nothing againt the cummins engine but i really dont care for dodge.

  • @JustinHansen6669 I can certainly understand that. To each his own. The high level tractor pullers areunreal, and i'm glad that some companies are finally getting competitive with duramax and power stroke engines. For years cummins motors dominated those classes, and were even found in chevy and fordtrucks. It's nice to have correct engines in the trucks. it gives us something to root for. I love diesel motorsports!

  • Cummins is the best engine but Dodge's frame and transmission suck ass!

  • Try a built allisson 545 works great on some 1,000 hp 5.9's iv seen

  • @Jthumper Its not so much the hp but the torque that kills things

  • just need to build it....... stock for stock dodge auto's tend to suck, fords are ok, the Allison rules. All trucks have good and bad points. I drive a duramax and love it, but I could tell you a few things I don't like about it. You all need to grow up.

  • cont: bad electrical everything and stupid stuff like the pointers on the gauges melt a little and stick ....... you don't drive an engine you drive a truck and all 3 need inprovement so grow a couple and stop acting like brats . work on a few hundred of each and come back and tell me how well your favoite truck is treating ya

  • watching these chats you guys just freak me out chevy ,ford ,dodge over and over i have worked on all of them and all 3 have there good and bad points . A ford will go 150,000 miles and fall apart almost overnight seats will rip , trans will fail ,everthing will leak. chevy the duramax is a good motor but every electric thing in the cab goes nuts ac goes dead , speedo sorta works , radio sorta works , windows sorta ..... dodge ,motor great , body bad . plastic parts fall off, rattles

  • @CactusBobsPlace my 97 f350 has 211,000 k and its still strong as ever.

  • its a freakin NONSENSE , i cant immagine that u guys are really serious doin this

  • Dummies, Ford owns Cummins, I read it on Youtube! It's true! LOL.

  • HEY im in need of geting a tranny! um, what did he had on the vid? HOW does he Like the suncoast one? Im into suncoast also or NADP..

    ty!@

  • can i get a WOOT WOOT FOR AIR POLLUTION?

  • And all you fags who like cummins just cause they have more horsepower stock are pussies be a man and work for a bad ass truck like a powerstroke my 95 7.3 will last longer than any of your shitty cummins and pull any thing you can

  • @ibesmokinem Well, last I checked, in all the F750's and larger trucks at work they have straight sixes in em whether they are cummins or cat. I have NEVER heard of a heavy duty truck with a v-8 diesel.

  • @donsldson311

    @nvrgvin79

You both are dumb as rocks telling slushy he's dumb when he's right you dumbfucks are dumb dodge has nothing to do with cummins they just buy them for the rams, what the fuck do you think they put in the f650 models????? I a fucking cummins and ford has more than 10 percent shares you stupid ass alligator mouth they fucking founded cummins then sold maybe half of the shares so you shouldn't open your mouth either cause neither of you are smart enough to talk.

  • @ibesmokinem your right thats why back in the early ninties when the new dodge diesels came out the word was that they had ford motors in them...........yes and no ford owned most shares then but it was still a seperate company........im a ford guy love the 7.3 turbo diesels and also the 6.0 seem to be good motors as well like your input ibesmokinem

  • @livinctry u r also an idiot. kill urself now. ford DOESNT own any cummins shares. ford only owned 10% of cummins shares in the early 90's but sold them back in '97. DO SOME RESEARCH B4 POLLUTING YOUTUBE W/ UR STUPIDITY!!!!!

  • @ibesmokinem your the fucking retard!!!! u should take a moment 2 eat some buckshot 4 being soooo stupid. cummins was founded in 1919 by Clessie lyle Cummins....NOT FORD. the only time ford owned any of cummins was in the early 90's (which was 10%) and they sold that back 2 cummins in '97. the reason they bought 10% was 2 have a seat on cummins' board b/c ford wanted the cummins engines in the 250/350. do some research b4 opening ur sperm burper next time

  • lucky he didnt blow the motor when it starts bouncing off the rev limiter like that its usually a good time to let off the throttle!

  • ford has nothing to do with cummins, years ago ford bought alot of shares of cummins but shortly after sold them back to cummins. cummins is owned by cummins.

  • Best pickup ever made was Mazda B1800, Standard Big block 1600 4 Cyl engine with the 5 speed stick shift, Mine was tuned to 63 BHP. Could pull my son on his skateboard no problem and never bust a Tranny. Proper Mazda designed and built before Ford got involved. PS, Cummins aint nothing to do with Ford anymore.

  • no wonder the tranny went. its a dodge.

  • @86xr600

what are u 12 years old?

  • @SlushyMonster

not true .. what im told is that cummins is a GM product .. dodge/chrysler/jeep etc .. so nothing to do with Ford

  • @djbazzmaster

no, u guys are all wrong, cummins is its own company, just like powerchokes are international motors, and duramax is izuzu. ford owned stock in cunnins in the early 90's but they sold it

  • Cummins owns cummins. Ford does not have anything to do with cummins nor does GM.

  • @mopower08

thank you sir, well said. somebody around here knows something about diesels

  • @mopower08

I love the retard Youtubers who think they know what they are talking about,

I did worse then you I blew the Cummins the Turbo the Tranny and the headers xD

    I was going for 1800HP

  • @mopower08 exactly, ford did use cummins in some of the f550+ trucks as an option other than the 6.0L back in 2003-2007 but that's it.

  • @mopower08 ford owns the big rig motor they dont have shit to do with the smaller motors semi motors only

  • @mopower08 ford owns cummins numb nuts

  • @SlushyMonster ...Your high on dope, in the early 90s, ford bought 10% of cummins shares, just enough to get a seat with em. They never used or helped develop ANY cummins motor. In 97 ford sold all thier shares, lost thier seat, and has had nothing to with Cummins since then. Do some research before your alligator mouth rights more checks than that hummingbird ass can cover about diesels...what a douche bag

  • @SlushyMonster Are you a dumbass???? Ford does not make Cummins motors you dipshit for has nothing to do with Cummins only Dodge does Ford is powerstroke which i think powerstroke is a peace of shit but anyway Ford does not do anything with Cummins Motors.

  • @Donaldson311 you ever owned a powerstroke............they have some of the strongest motors on the market right now ...........ford is also in the lead as far as advancement in creating less turbo lag while adding an additional turbo for quicker boost

  • @livinctry 2 2008 Ford diesels motors in our work trucks have blown up. The heaviest we have ever towed is a backhoe. Ford should have taken cummins

  • @SlushyMonster You are a tard

  • @SlushyMonster you fuckin tool

  • @SlushyMonster Wow. Your an idiot. Ford builds 0.0% of the cummins engine. Ford owns 0.0% of the cummins. I know this seems crazy, but cummins makes cummins, wierd huh? You ford boys crack me up. Even if your stupid comment were true, would it matter? the cummins is superior to the power stroke no matter who built it!

  • ive seen those dodge trannies havin alot of problems. my neighbor josh put 4 transmissions in his truck and eventually sold it

  • are you stupid? Ford fucking starts to rust if you leave it for a day in the rain...! ; )

  • @sscamaro87

ur wrong ..ford trucks are allready rusted ..when u orderd one ;)

  • ford sucks dude...

  • @slurpy911 id like to see ur power cough last longer than a cummines. haha theres no point disen a cummins cuz u know u rather have that motor in ur truck bud

  • @RM250D8rzr

    u mean powerCHOKE!

  • AHAH true

  • dude fords suck more than dodge get a life its all about DURAMAX

  • @slurpy911

go play outside, and learn how to use cap-lock

  • hey cumminsferlife those are aftermarket trannys so you cant really compare them to an allison. not sayin allison's our indestructible but they are a better trans. fyi dodge uses them now too.

  • @zeke38lly WOW...i cant believe you said that...dodge uses them now? dodge has been using the 47re forever...DODGE DOES NOT USE ALLISON STOCK

  • Theres a company that builds tranny's for these trucks, and the newer 24v's. I dont rember the company, but I know its like 6k$ for one, but they dont break. My buddy has it in his 12v, hes pushin 400hp, go knows how much torque, but he put about 200k miles on it and it still is pullin good. I think its a BDE or somtin.

  • you guys are all shitty...fuck allison...go with ATS or suncoast and ittl blow that fuggin allison out of the water...

  • buddy....allisons a great transmission...ats is good aswell....but allison is a way better trani than you could imagine...

  • Need a 5 or 6 speed. Get the junk auto out

  • hahaha, I love the title! "Another" lmao

  • that's the only problem with Dodge Cummins. the tranny. hook it up to an allison and it'll last longer than you ;-)

  • you guys have just about the least amount of luck

  • allison

  • who didn't see that coming?

  • allison....thats all i gotta say...

  • allison 100% way to go

  • figures the tranny went its a dodge :) get a ford diesel

  • cause ford dosnt make to power to break anything. lol jp

  • acctually ford makes the trannys in the truck... they dont make the motor tho... same with dodge cummins makes the motor, dodge makes the shittyy tranny...

  • im just messin with ya bro... but yeah dodge stock autos arnt known for being that stout.

  • yeah.. dodge trannys have been suckyy for 15 years at least

  • @kuntryboy369 you can bet your ass they do

  • i agree

  • What kind of tranny u got in it now. I got a HTS in mine.

  • He has a suncoast now.

  • yea faggots get a built trans at least a torque converter. u really think a stock trans will hold up to a cummins or v10 magnum drivin like an asshole

  • wowo plp say dodge has bad trannys.. ffs some kid geting smartys for there dodge running it amx without upgrading the tranny nothing. ffs comon..

  • Not trying to talk bad about Dodge, but they are pretty notorious for blowing transmissions. My sister's husband had a Magnum V10 RAM and they replaced the transmission in that thing like three times because it wouldn't shift properly at all, he towed something, next day he wasn't towing and it wouldn't shift outta first.

Neighbor had a Cummins and blew his out twice.

  • do you use automatic or manual transmissions for this competitions?

sorry i am from europe and pulling is not popular in our countries.... thats a pitty :D

  • automatic is the best

  • i think they use automatic, so they can build boost easier

  • automatic my friend.

they hold boost much better during pulls. plus with a manual they lose momentum everytime you shift.

  • alison 1000's aren't very good heavy duty transmissions. they are great for a stock truck but they don't handle extreme power well. they are always learning and easy to hurt/break. but thats my experience with them a built to the wall 47re is probably the best automatic out there.

  • That is why your high performance gm's run the dodge trannys and pull out the slow shifting allisons.

  • @mopower08 I dont know what fuckin Gms youve been seein but dodge and ford have the worst trannys out there

  • @mopower08 i'ne never seen a better auto trans than an allison lct1000...for a stock truck....they dont like tuners that much....but i've found no stock auto trans like tuners that much...

  • piece of shit dodge

  • Is that dumbass goin to shift or do it all in 1st gear u jackass dont u know ur suppost to shift DUDE its not an automatic .....

  • yeah, it is

  • ur the dumbass ur not suppossed to shift while pulling unless its an automatic otherwise youll start to bog down u stick with 1 gear throughout the pull

  • And if you shift an automatic you risk breaking the casing. Pick a gear and stick with it

  • DODGE TRANNYS SUCK!!!

  • please learn how to drive

  • I think that Dodge should try and get something worked out with allison transmissions or like even a eaton fuller or something. Theyve made good trannys for Big Rigs..Go to the drawing bord and come up with something bullet proof for them, than lets see a Duramax or powerstroke keep up with the cummins....theyre alreadyhaving a hard time doin it..

  • Plus stock dodge trannys honestly are not that good, After 180K you really gotta watch em.

But you are right, they need to up grade trannys to stay in the game.

  • no you have to watch them after 50K.

  • Seriously?

Well i guess when your pulling, i just meant like normal driving.

2nd - 3rd it wont shift until you let off the gas completely.

  • i love dodge, but i guess thats one of things u just got to live with =/

  • typical dodge

  • The 4 speed auto is a 727 with a bolt-on overdrive in the tail housing. I've made a good living rebuilding them and they are a shit transmission. An Allison or TH400 would be much better.

  • hell my buddy had a stock 2001 cummins and the trany went. we put ats in it and it does a pretty damn good job. my 98.5 cummins on other hand.... the clutches are done after a edge comp edge 150 injectors and a bd lift pump and a few burnouts. lol any one know of a good clutch?

  • south bend

  • I'm British and unfamiliar with Truck Pulling why do these thing smoke so much when they idle ?

  • They tune fuel injectors to put more fuel into the engine, it makes it more powerful and helps a ton.

  • Because the driver is revving the motor and the smoke is diesel that is burned into the air, it burns because the engine is not receiving enough oxygen to combust the diesel.

  • Dude im a diehard dodge fan, have been since I was a little tike. Compared to the people I kno with dodges, drivetrain was the only complaint. I never owned one yet. Its my first choice tho I hope I have the same luck as that because I wouldnt plan on keeping very much of anything stock for long. Love the videos man, in no way shape or form was I trying to smart ass anyone. Just making convo

  • Man dodge really needs to work on there drivetrain, such an awesome truck they will be on top if they get that taken care of. But then again I guess everything breaks eventually doing things like this...

  • The truck is a 2001, tricked motor, stock tranny, and now has a built tranny. I pulled for two years with my mostly stock tranny and no problems.

  • they make the dodge trannys in my city...they are made by drunks

  • typical DODGE

  • that sucked
