  • My heart is filled with sadness. What a loss.

  • @SoCalGal52 It makes me cry even when I watch it & I made it! It is very sad!!

  • Beautiful!

  • @FlaxenHairedBeauty Thank you!

  • OMG, my poor little heart is broken. I remind myself that she probably LIVED more in her 33 years than most of us do in 80 or 90.

  • Definately not a pair to draw too, you're a winner everytime with this couple...what teriffic Stars. Thanx

  • thank you for making this video :) xx

  • Such a beautiful video. It brought tears to my eyes.

  • Wow first video that made me cry.Maybe I was on the down side but this video was very touching. The music fits really well for them.Great video.

  • This made me cry coz I can imagine how Gable must've felt. After Lombard, he ended marrying two women that reminded him of her. You should also see the other Gable/Lombard video with the song "Dreaming of you" in the background.

  • This video is sad and beautiful at the same time. At least they're together again in heaven.

  • Thanks, & yes it is very sad, did you see TheProfaneAngel's one on them? She's a good friend of mine-I cry everytime I see it!! It's wonderful! She's very talented!!!

  • Thanks & yes it is sad. Did you see TheProfaneAngel's one on them? It's wonderful. She's a good friend of mine & she's very talented!!!

  • I know. Plus my grandma was a fan of Carole Lombard. She told me she cried when she heard the news and my grandma was 17 at the time. My mom and I loved her movies and was so happy when TCM had her as the star of the month of October celebrating her 100th B-day. She might be gone, but NEVER forgotten.

  • In just a few days it would have been her 100th birthday October 6th, we share the same b/day, howeever 60 yrs apart. I found the love of my life at 38, thank GOD Carole found Clark before that..she was so young when she died. Her mother was rumored to have warned her of the mark of 3's, which I suppose is a bad thing about the flight. Carole protested because she wanted to get back home to Clark whom she did NOT want to get any alone time with Lana Turner, which I hope never happened.

  • Hi CarlaLee! My birthday is 3 days before Carole's! My Dad was also the 6th of October.

If you watch my Hands Across.. vid re: the #3 remark made in the movie, I almost fell off the bed when I heard it! Why didn't she listen to her Mom???!! We will never know what happened with Lana & Clark during those shooting days on the set & after. Lana claims to have said nothing happened-yea, ok suuuure, I know I wouldn't want to be responsible for that!!! I'd deny it too!

  • She'll be in all of our hearts and we October babies just have a close connection to her. It's weird....and wonderful. Your vids are AWESOME!!!!

  • Help, I am trying to find a video I saw yesterday, it's a tribute to Warner Brothers stars, can anyone lead me in the right direction, thanks and this video is unbelievble,

  • this was wonderful...thank you. what a love story. :)

  • So beautiful! I cried. Thank you.

  • beautiful! this definitely brought a tear to my eye

  • Gracias

  • Thanks for this vid. It's really heartbreaking, I nearly cried when I saw them 2gether, so alive and so in love. Such traggic! waaa! I heard that Carole was so cool, she grew up with the boys and oh boy could talk like a soldier as well. It's still sad though that she died like that..oh well at least I hope their reunited now.

  • You're welocme. Yes I heard the same, well read, I got a copy of her bio "Screwball-The Life of Carole Lombard" off of ebay!! What great book! She was one tuff cookie & didn't take s*** from anyone-man or woman. But yet elegant & lovely at the same time. Im sure they are together calling each other Ma & Pa in heaven!

  • Then what's he calling Kay?

Sorry, i couldn't help myself - i love Carole so much, but wouldn't that be tricky to sort out?

  • I'm watching Lombard videos this morning to remember Carole's incredible life. I love your tribute, especially the glimpses into her real life, particularly with Gable. She was beautiful and talented, but the real Carole was also kind and giving, fun to be with, a loyal friend and crazy in love with her husband. I have watched your video many times and never tire of it. It is especially meaningful to be able to watch it today. Thank you!

  • Thank you! yes, Carole was a beautiful, determined woman. A fun & great friend. I had only wished sometimes I could go back in time & tell her NOT to take that plane home!

She is someone I would have loved to have known! Im going to watch some of her films as well to remember her!

  • RIP Carole. We lost our lovely Carole on 1/16-66 yrs ago!!

You left a mark on this world & you're missed very much. God rest your soul, your Mom & Mr Otto Winklers

  • hollywood true romance

  • Heartbreaking... Thank you for this!

  • I will never fall that hard for anyone again...

  • Hi Jennifer... just coming back for more Carole... thanks again for this...

  • Hi!! You are so welcome!! :)

  • Jennifer..This was a JOY to see!THANK YOU Dearie!

    Your Pal~

    Tal

  • You're welcome Tal! Glad you enjoyed it! Sad though! :(

  • Oh...I'm choked up. I adore this video. I'm a big Gable fan and just learning about Carole and many other old movie stars. They are so fascinating. The tragedy makes me so sad for Clark. But watching this, it's like, fans are grateful for the time they did have together. I'm sure they are together now. Many thanks for a wonderful video.

  • Jennifer, Thanks. Carole was one of my favorites. Its a shame that they didn't have a child- would have been a gorgeous kid!

  • She was one hell of an actress and woman. She was down to earth and she certainly didnt act like a diva. Her and Gable seemed very happy with each other

  • I totally agree!!! I think they made a great couple, she changed him in some ways, to be a little more open & sociable. She was so free spirited & fun, & a tough cookie at that!! Great actress & a great friend!

  • What a sad loss for him. I hope they are together again in heaven.

  • I know, Im sure they are together in heaven doing all the things they loved!! :)

  • Such a lovley tribute. Thanks so much

  • You are quite welcome!!

  • Thank you!!

  • So beautiful!!!

  • This video shows what a wonderful relationship Carole and Clark had, a love affair that never ended. Thanks so much for this video.

  • Thank you!!! I can't say I enjoyed making it, being so sad & all. But I did it in rememberence of Carole & her life. I love her, what a lady!! And a tough cookie! :D

    That's our Profane Angel!

  • I love this video, makes me cry every time, so beautiful.

  • Thank you & it makes me cry too & feel sooo sad!!! What a horrible thing that happened to her!! :(

  • Jennifer this is probably the best Lombard/Gable tribute I have seen here. One can only wonder how far up Carole and Clark could have gone in Hollywood. Today I hold a key piece wreckage recovered from the site. A fragment of the Bendix Compass Direction Finder that if had been used properly that night could have changed many lives for the better. Thank you again for a fine tribute to a special lady.

  • Wow! Thank you so much!! Wow, you have a piece of the plane, that is amazing! The compass, the one piece that could of saved all their lives, and you have it....that totally blows me away!! May I say again wow! Also, thanks for the very, very nice comment!!

  • In all honesty, you should have left the piece at the site. This is akin to grave robbery. Very, very tasteless on your part.

  • nuness20 you know nothing. Grave robbery?? Hardly!! Maybe you should ask the Nevada State Museum who very much appreciated the donation of the Bendix Compass fragment. Atleast now the public can see what contributed to this tragedy.

  • Who should have left what piece?? Help?

  • I located a fragment from TWA Flight 3's navigation compass at the crash site. The Bendix compass and the crew's failure to properly use it was key to the accident investigation. My website discusses the accident.

  • Wow, Canyonair! (And way to judge this person before you have the facts, nuness20 - people, stop doing that here!)

That is just amazing! I'll definitely be checking out your web site. I've never understood how that crash happened - how they didn't see or know about the mountain. We lost a LOT of our brave, young WWII soldier in that crash too- I pray they won't be forgotten! (was there a lawsuit against this Bendix thing? I'll check your site and see!)

  • You remove stuff from a crash site, you are a graverobber. Understand how utterly classless and tasteless it is?

  • I'd rather see it in a museum, or somewhere similar, than left on the ground. JMO - as we are all entitled to. Thanks!

Did anyone read the REST of what I wrote? About how many people were lost on that flight? Part of the tragedy is that people forget who else was on the plane... God bless them all. And i adore Carole!!

  • who sing this song? your video is the best Carole tribute on youtube, I can't stop watching although it breaks my heart!!!

  • Faith Hill- from the Pearl harbor soundtrack. You can d/load on limewire. Yes, it is really sad, what a lady!! Her birthday is coming up on 10/6, she would of been 99!! I watch it a lot myself & cry sometimes, the way she died, such a great loss. She was the best!! I love her, she is all over my room along with Gable & Harlow-my favorite trio!! And thanks so much for the lovely & touching comment!! :)

  • wow, yeah I feel the same way about the way she died...I knew about her about 9 months ago...but when I saw her for the 1st time I was shocked by her story and life and now I adore her...I am just 21 though but I guess all of her fans nowadays are young :D that's quite nice!

  • It is sooo amazing to see young people enjoying the classics & loving old celebrities. That's when they were actors!!! And everyone looked different, nowadays , e/one looks the same...lol Im making a new one of her this week for her b-day, so be on the lookout for that one!! :)

  • great! I just uploaded my very own tribute for her, check it out :)

  • So beautiful, I like this video so much.....

  • Thank you! I appreciate it!!

  • Jennifer, thanks so much for this. Awesome work and choice of music. Love the last photo. Carole..."what a woman".....

  • You're quite welcome, Im so glad you enjoyed it! I love Carole

  • Your welcome!! :)

  • Great tribute! And very sad at the same time! All on a flip of a coin too, on reading her bios, she had at least 2 chances to get off that flight & take another, but she had to hurry home to Gable...if she only would of waited!!!! :( Her mother had a bad feeling about the flight & that the # 3 was very unlucky for her, Flight #3, she was 33 yrs old & their were 3 sets of couples on board. Gable lost a wife, his best friend Otto Winkler & his mother-in-law.

  • WOW, very moving.Carole is my fav actress..In that wreckage they found pieces of the diamond and ruby clips Clark gave Carole. From what I understand he had some sort of piece made from them.

  • yes, it was made into a necklace, that he wore all the time!

  • enjoyed watching this. thanks.

  • thanks & your welcome!

  • made me cry

  • Thank you! :)

  • Really wonderful footage!

  • Thank you!

  • Darn, I can't rate it again, but I can say bravo again! As you know, I'm a big video watcher, especially of these two, and you really have done the very best with the subject. Are you a professional video creator?

  • Well thank you very much! Im in the middle of making a new Gable one...big request for that one!! Who can get enough of him?? HaHa. I have help from a friend on here, she's very sweet! Im glad you enjoyed this!! :)

  • Good, good! Have you seen the awful one, some title like "Brush with Grandpa?" You Tube removed his reply back to me - bless them. I'm new to this, and was shocked by his hostile response. Oh, well.

  • :( video!!!!(((

    a good!!!

  • thanks!

  • beautiful video, beatutiful photo, beautiful music, every things is beautiful and so sad ...

  • thank you!!It is sad, she helped her country only to die in horrible plane crash. She was awesome!!

  • Wonderful, wonderful! Returned from a great day trip with my guy to find this online, and I had to run and kiss him again. We really don't count our blessings, do we?

  • Thanks! And it's true we really don't count our blessings. I will be for now on!!!

  • I realized that I may have sounded sort of, well, gloomy maybe. But I meant it in the way you seemed to have taken it. Maybe I shouldn't reveal this, but I am a psychotherapist, and always feel sad about clients who seem to throw good things away. Savor every moment, right?

  • You are absolutley right about that! Poor Gable!

  • they really loved each other. it brought tears to my eyes. you did a terrfic job

  • thank you jess!

  • This almost made me cry...

    wonderful.

  • It's such a sad story, I cried a bit making it.

  • **Applause** It's beautiful, I love it!
