wow that's dumb... she always saying how they're not a Christian rock band yet they almost broke up cause one of them didn't say he was doing it for god...
and she doesn't say what was said before that, maybe she was going on and on about god and how great it is to do his bidding till one of them couldn't take her nonsense any more... believing in god is one thing but thinking everything you do is just for its sake is stupid cause if there is a god i don't think he have petty human feelings

@AkaiVash I'm pretty sure she means that the messages of her songs will honor God with either meaning or the words said. honoring God doesn't mean doing the kow tow and sacrificing fun it means mostly that you make sure what you say is nonoffensive, like don't curse makeing sure that your message is clean. and actually like with switchfoot the band members are christian the band is not explicitly christian. Christianity acts more like a censor than anything else.

I have so much respect for her. People ignore any religious factors. Completely take that out of the equation. Listen to how much she appreciates her fans. She kept going for them. Thats dedication, loyalty, something not commonly expressed from some musical artists these days.

It is CRITICAL for you each to be able to differentiate between "justification" and "salvation". For we are saved by grace through faith alone, but we are justified by God before men by our works.
Faith and works go hand-in-hand. You might have faith, but if you do nothing with that faith, it will corrode your soul and come to naught. We were created to ACT faithfully, not just SAY the words.

"...the punishment they will receive if they transgress the rules of their religion." This is quite possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard being said about Flyleaf. I have never interpreted "Remember Your Mortality" as the above quote. If anything, Memento Mori is a testament of God's love through Jesus Christ, as I'm sure, Lacey meant it to be.

I agree with vanillaanime. Having faith is all it takes to believe that God is real. Thats the way things are you can't believe everything that you see with your eyes. God doesnt hate no one. Hate is sin, And God is loving. He wants you to go to heaven. If you think your pain now is bad, in hell its uncomparable. God wants you to be happy. Thats why Jesus died on the cross for us so we never have to go through that pain and go to hell.

he didnt just die so we dont go to hell, his blood rattified the blood covenant which is a covenant with God and Man. in the old testament God was not in man so everything was physical. they sacrificed animals with their bare hands for atonement and only the high preist could come in contact with God. After jesus was crucified we are able to come in contact with God anytime we want to and if we choose to let him in.Our inner spirit man is alive in us because of Christ
