Good video. Made me feel confident that I could do the job quickly. I was able to replace both of them without removing the back panel. Spaces were very tight but it can be done. Of course 30 years ago I used to work on VW Beetle engines so tight spaces are nothing new to me. Thanks for the video.
I did mine (a Sears (Canada) C4216) yesterday. Trick was to use a 1-2" of ½" copper pipe to put over the end of the pin to hold the pin in so you can slide the pin out. I used that trick for a couple of the pins, and pulled them, and used vice grips to push other ones out
I was able to replace both shocks from the front, which saved me the grief of pulling the whole thing out (and disconnecting the stacked dryer).
Parts were $60 for a pair of shocks from local parts place.
