a message for people who think gemmy products suck: SHUT THE F***UP!!! they are awesome if ur gemmy prop broke its probably cause u set it up wrong. and dont say u did case you probably didn't you just say you did cause ur really pissed off. sure SOME gemmy props are cheap but most are awesome. so got to hell gemmy haters.
@teecee2468 I'm not a Gemmy hater, but your wrong! Gemmy sells good stuff and bad stuff. The air-blown inflatables are great, and the light show products are awesome, but flawed. I purchased 10 sets of the over sized C9 style light stings last year, and the first rain killed one sting when a light filled with water. It shorted out causing it dim and knock the others past it out of sync. I took it back and exchanged it, next rain another sting at the other end of the house did the same thing.
These were simply installed under the eves of my house, and in no way incorrectly. This year I dug the lights out of the plastic bin I had them stored in and one sting has two dim blue LEDs, but other than that functions correctly. I wanted to buy some extras to have in case another set dies, but Gemmy does not sell them this year. I contacted them and was told basically "sorry, we can't help you. We don't stock them, and there are no resellers in your area. Try eBay". Great customer service!
I have them and they are great. My only problem is I can't get them to change from green and red. I have the trees and they work great. Has anyone had the same problem as me.
Hello ALL We just bought 4 sets and realized we needed 5 to complete the job. Lowe's is OUT and we don't know where to buy another set of the LED changing Bulbs. I've searched the internet with no luck. Their web site isn't set up to be able to order ANYTHING. I am at my wits end.
Does anyone have any extra sets or know of any other distributors besides home depot. I did find that Ace Hardware sells the gemmy icicle lights, but they are 10 different colors as opposed to 7 different colors. Thanks.
Does anyone know how to contact the company. The number that came with it was an automated system with no helpful info. One of the lights burned out (just in red)on the string of lights and the driveway lights (1 out of 6) is not in sync-- it was when we first got them. We have spent over $500 on these lights and they aren't working the way they are suppose too. Any ideas how to fix them?
Yes...a little backdoor-like but if you go into the frequently asked questions and just choose one then answer "no" when asked if it answered your question then you can contact them.
Home Depot. I just picked up two of them there. along with two bulb types and one walkway type.
Now i have to buy more (going to line driveway/walkway with them.). its never said ANYWHERE but this video that the lights will sync together when strung. Just that you can connect them.
Thanks for your answer, but the problem is that the home depot does not ship worldwide agrrrrr and I live in France, I am now quite desperate since I will certainly have never the chance to buy them, and thus to have them for christmas
