About a year ago i was at a local show and he cheated a few fans on autographs and then during his match he laid propped up against a turn buckle and flipped the tag team he was wrestling and spit his dentures out. And people were asking where his snake was and he proceeded to pull his tights out enough to where was exposing himself in front of the audience which had a large number of children he was far worse than how he was in beyond the mat, when i saw him.

I nearly broke into tears seeing the poor bastard (no offense to Jake) being at his lowest. The wrestler who wrestled Jake is a pathetic puke who should have been fired for that comment about him. Of course wrestling is staged (aka "not real"), as this video VERY well shows... however, the men in the ring ARE real and this is a very sad case of a man who has reached the very lowest rung of both his personal and professional life. I loved Jake in the 80's and 90's and wish the VERY BEST for him in his autumn years.

This is tragic. I had such high hopes for Jake after WWE sent him into rehab, and now he's back to square one again, stumbling around drunk at god awful indy shows when he should be sober and teaching young WWE stars how to cut a promo. It almost doesn't matter whether he was "drugged" or not...the fact is he's off the wagon and in the gutter...again. Lord, I wish it wasn't so.

this is not a work. he took an alcoholic drink that a fan offered to him but the drink was spiked. he was supposed to win the match but the ref told firestorm to pin him because Jake didnt look right. he was also supposed to DDT the guy who attackd him after the match but didnt. and to prove it wasnt a work he exposed himself on the ramp on his way backstage

his people aren't the only one saying he was drugged. he has admitted he has a problem and hit rock bottom a few years ago when he was charged with animal cruelty when is snake got sick and died. I read earlier today one a couple other wrestling sights that they believe he may have been drugged. Why? Making him look bad could make a small time wrestler look good. There are so many wrestlers these days, and only two big companies, that its getting hard to get noticed.

I grew up watching jake the snake and used to pull the pattened "DDT" on my pillow lots of time pretending to be him.
He was a great wrestler and a great role model. Its sad to see his disease of drug addiction and alcohol abuse take him to this level. Such a shame and its obvious he still has love for the ring since he still attempts to participate in events..
I for one feel sorry for him and hope he gets into treatment soon.

Man, I didn't even know that there was an event at the Phantasy theater in Lakewood! It's sad to see Jake the snake self destructing like that. I hope he cleans himself up before it's too late. First thing he has to do is hit rock bottom. I think he just did with this match. Next he has to accept that he can't drink anymore (my dad was an alcoholic, so I know what he went through, though not NEARLY as bad as Jake). Until he does that, it won't happen.

This makes me really sad as well. For years growing up, Jake was one of my very favorites and it pains me to see the level he's brought himself down to. I'd like to see Jake clean himself up once and for all and salvage the remains of his legacy as one of the most memorable characters ever in professional wrestling. The fans would still accept him back. The real snake is the one within Jake...the one that keeps biting him every time he tries to put it back in the bag for good. Do it for us,Jake!
