  • Finally the MET did something right!

  • MET is how I started in Theater and preforming arts. It really is an excellant program. I am still in the preforming arts today.

  • I saw this production live, and it was pretty fabulous, though I missed hearing the German text. There were many children in the audience when I saw it though, so I can understand the need to do it in English.

  • This production of Hänsel und Gretel was one of the coolest experiences - particularly with the stage effects. Costumes, settings, dramatic interpretations - all unlike anything I've seen. But I just really wish they had done the opera in German, as it was intended. The English, though well sung, just doesn't cut it. It would've been a near perfect production then. My dad saw La Traviata at L'Opera in the 60's sung in French and said it really burst his bubble. Still, this was a fine show.

  • This video makes me very happy because not only did I love this prduction, but this is also the day I saw it live, too! You had great seats, though!

  • Oh my God! What a coincidence. Very funny. The performance of the night was in fact wonderful, and the audience was very receptive. And the seats...well...very expensive, they weren't fantastic, but they were very enough...hahahaha. Salutes from Mérida, Yucatán, México.
