Well it was actually a game, FFVII Crisis Core was what Peter was "playing" though I don't think it was a good example as that section was a cutscene and Crisis Core was only released for the Sony PSP, never PC. Plus it's not a British game.

I think a better example would have been Batman: Arkham Asylum as that is a really good looking modern game, was very well received, is playable on PC and is made by the London based Rocksteady Studios so they're are "Brits who made..."
