I remember wathcing this logo before and after The Animals of Farthing Wood and Doctor Who. It fis in well with both series, and I consider it to be the best of BBC's logos.

Yeah this started me as a youngster. I saw this at the start of my Wallace and Gromit VHS tapes. Most people find the 1980s logo scary, but I found that really cozy compared to this.

im actually not scared of the logo as a kid, when i watched pingu, the only logo i was really scared of was the manx tt logo, what happened was the sega sports logo appeared on a white background, then with a roaring motorcycle sound the manx tt logo pushes in the and the announcer excitedly says ''SEGA!!! MANX TT SUPER BIKE!!!'
