A healthy future depends on small farms providing food for their communities. Small farms are being swallowed up by huge corporate farms who do not grow good food products. Bio fuels is not a viable solution for oil independance. Please OBAMA, I voted for you, and now i'm pissed! You made a bad choice! Please do not make our future suffer from this ignorance!
This is not a sustainable vision for America's agricultural economy. The twenty-first century agricultural economy should NOT be one of biotech and agro-fuels, which will spiral us away from the natural world and make everybody dependent on "Big-Agro," but it should be an economy based on local farms growing genetically diverse produce in order to work according to natural laws, which will be here long after Monsanto is dust.
Our energy answers will be found in truly sustainable sources such as the sun, wind, and tides... AND in learning to make due with less energy consumption, not in GROWING our carbon-energy sources. That is ultimately no better for the environment than using fossil fuels.
Why does one get that 'blah, blah, blah' feeling again? Obama believes that he is there 'to maintain the strongest military on the planet.' Given his appointments, an increase in ground forces by 100,000 and $850 billion being spent annually to the miliatry, Sarah Pallin can only become more attractive...Change????

I can't say that I know anything about Monsanto, but if the only reason people are upset is because they genetically modify foods, then please ignore them. Genetically modified foods are the reason we can feed everyone, and I honestly don't see what the big deal is here.
