Check out iPrompts on the iTunes APp Store (or Google "iPrompts" and our website should come up)! My wife and I are parents to a 4-year-old boy with autism. We used old-fashioned picture-based communications tools with him (like laminated symbols and notebooks), and they worked, but they were cumbersome and often stigmatizing. Instead, we made an app that allows caregivers to create and present customized picture schedules, timers and choices right on an iPhone or iPod Touch! My son loves it!
