@xJackBladez First of all; Warhammer and LOTR is made long before Warcraft so it doesn't have orcs like WC, it has orcs like LOTR which is from 1954 (40 years before Warcraft!)(Warhammer - 1983). And the term orc (or Ork to be correct) was in fact created by Tolkien (it origins back to old English though, but it didn't refer to the green thing we know of today). So don't ever put WC before LOTR, since its the fucking father of all RPG we know today. Second; i agree, who cares if they look alike

@teddyGros look it up, the ones you are thinking of is "Jætter" which is demon like creatures living in "Udgaard (Also called Jutonheim)" the opposite of "Asgaard" where the gods (Aser) lives. They could also be compared to trolls, which is a more common word in the northern mythic (demons are not really used). These are not orcs. The reason i know this is because i am in fact from Scandinavia where the myth originally were located, and like the old myth

For example, when making a racing game with cars what aren't real, but are ment to look awesome and be recognized as cars, do you put the first ever ford? the father of all cars as the base look for all your cars? or do you use a modern alternative?
