This is so true, that is why Jesus says to "forgive" people, and obviously he means yourself as well. And forgiveness is "letting go" or "non-reacting." And a lot of people build up a lot of hate and anger(stress) because of what "others" are saying to them. What would happen if they just "let it go?" It would just "end." When a "fight" happens, there has to be "TWO" people fighting.

That's true, but "progress" doesn't just have to be "material." It can also be "spiritual" progress. But I guess that would fit into the category of "taking control over your feelings."

And if they keep making progress in that, they must be creating a great life.. All great people, I believe, eventually focus on spiritual transformation. And it brings them the most joy. Yeah, your always going to have a feeling of emptiness inside of you if you don't progress spiritually and learn about how to fix your emotional problems. If you can be happy being poor just as when you are rich. You can be at peace at all times. And "energy" doesn't come from "material" things. It comes from being "spiritually" fulfilled. Or "emotionally" fulfilled is another way of saying it.
