i think that spencers screaming range has widened, and his newing screaming is alot more deep and powerful, cause he can still scream reallly high, but he does those awesome low screams too.

i just looked at a live concert vid of this song in 2004, and he nailed the high screams. is his voice wearing out or something?

back in '04 he was trying to immitate the screams of their previous vocalist. this is how he really screams. its more "himself"

its not that like he can't nail them cuz like he's always done them its just that like that he progressed more in his vocals and him and underoath sorta wanted to break that generic screamo sound, so spencer actually got lessons from this chick btw her dvd's are called "the zen of screaming" and he comes out in the 2nd one, well yeah i guess he wanted to expand his screaming to a more unique sound of his own, and i think its really working for him and the band. :)

I know all about it bro, but if he wanted to do the song right, he'd revert back to Chasing Safety screams, at least for songs on that album. I like his own vocals much better, but still.

But I definitely think something is going on with his voice. His vocals are

shiver-inducing on DTGL, and although I love LITSOS, there are a few moments where his voice breaks during a scream. And it's not one of those intentional ones that sound good either, it's as if his voice is wearing out =(

he was low before underoath in his last band this runs though, but he just kinda got stuck up high after trying to emulate dallas for tocs and having to tour screaming that high
