Dying is easy to do; it's the living that's hard to do. Living next door to those who are different than who you are can be very hard (for both of us).
If a roof collapses onto a family, and only an unbeliever responds -- what will the house-owner do? Accept the help offered, or refuse the help?
i think anyone who orders to kill and murder in the name of whatever reason should be made to work with people who have nothing in their lifes. It would be nice to see them at work with war orphans for the rest of their lifes. selfish egocentric greedy criminals they are.
I had the pleasure of knowing iraqi people when in H.S. and in my college days 30 yrs. ago. They were nice peopl, they still are. It is a shame that they have not attained peace in their country. They have to stand together as a nation and stop violence. If they do not unite leaving behind their tribes and become one nation they will not attain peace. My love and peace to the people of the world!
I'd like to know more about who this person is and what they'd like to achieve with this.. Expose us culture? Make us aware? Protesting war in general? I don't think it explained enough to make me watch..
His family was from Iraq, and he decided to go back after the war started to get first-hand oppinions from his family... I'd like to see opinions outside his family as well. His family looks pretty well off. I'd like to see what others say
A bit choppy - I get a feel for some of the family, but I can already see that the two biggest challenges (closely linked) for this filmmaker will be to provide insight into the "war" and some insight to leaven the narrator's culture shock so that both are in some small way transformed for the viewer.
Certainly not boring, as subject matter goes (Hey, enough car accidents already, you tube)
