  • I think a very good dupe is Mary Kay's facial highlighting pen...and I believe it ranges from $15-$18.

  • thanks for the video :D

andd ur hair is gorgeous !

  • I've been using this for yrs and its not a concealer, its a highlighter. Its actually an amazing product, its got a cult following. You say it tooosh eclat.

  • awsome

  • Love your skin tone in this one. I know you like being tan, and you are gorgous either way, but its refreshing to see you a little whiter (like MEEE)

  • Great review babe!

  • your hair looks great in this video, what did you use to curl it?

  • @eukriipony A large barrel curling iron!

  • Is this a pre-filmed video? I only ask because that beautiful engagement ring you were wearing is missing!

  • actually it's not a concealer, it's a highlighter.

  • I bought this and do like it, I didn't find anything negative about it. However I have owned Erase Paste for the longest and finally have mastered the technique. Most people believe they are concealers, but they are NOT, just eye brightners...1st apply concealer then the brightners...it works. Thanks Lisa for another awesome review!

  • it's pronounced "toosh ay-clah"

  • Toooshhh a clay and dont pronounce the t at the end. Anyway I love your Tiffany Bracelet and your hair.

  • Hi YouTuber,,,Thanks for a good video, I was really on the fence about this product. Have you done a review on what you consider to be a good concealer? Or, something to reduce eye puffines-I need that more. Thanks!

  • @pattifudge I dont know of a concealer that reduces puffiness, but I love clinique all about eyes and Costal Scents Camo quad and now mac pro longwear

  • Hi Lisa! Thank you for the great review on this product. Based on your review I will not be wasting my money on this product, since I need a lot of coverage for my undereye circles and this product doesn't seem like something I'm looking for. Instead, based on some of your other reviews I'm going to try the Bobbie Brown corrector and concealer. Again, thanks for the review and congrats on your engagement! :)

  • I think you need shade 1 for a highlighter with you skin tone. I don't think you are giving a fair review, because the shade is too dark for you... I use shade 2 as a highlighter and I am NW35 in mac.

  • I'd been waiting for a review on this product (from anyone :)). Thank you for posting this!

  • I had the exact same feeling about this product, a very nice product but I think it's dupable at a much more reasonable price.

  • Would you use the eyebright under a conceler or on its own? I find it looks a little bit to pink on me, maybe I'm just not patting it out enough. I do love the creamy finish of eyebright.

  • @swedishlina I use it under concealer also!

  • Which shade of the YSL Touche (like douche-bag but with a "T") Eclat (ehh-cla) are you reviewing?

  • Lisa, you should try the Boots No. 7 Radiant Glow concealer it works the same but cheaper.

  • Try it over your concealer and in your inner eyes, like by your tear ducts. That's the best way I have found. :)

  • Very interesting review...it was super help. And you look beautiful in this video...love pink on you! =) Thanks for sharing.

  • I can always trust you to do an honest review. Another similar type of product is Clinique's Airbrush concealer which is about half the price for the same amount. It is good if you don't have major under eye circles. Personally, I would always need a concealer on top. BTW I noticed one of your viewers asked why you weren't wearing your engagement ring and you replied that the video was previously taped so I assume you just got engaged. Congratulations!

  • HI again Lisa!

  • Love ur face makeup

  • Great review, Lisa. Very detailed. Love what you're wearing. You look pretty in pink. Hey, no pun intended on the movie. LOL!

  • Can you do a review of some Avon products and some Yves Rocher products. I just want to know if they are good makeup/skincare brand. I tried to find some review on Youtube, but there is not a lot to choose. If you can find some products from these two brand, please do a review. :)

  • @PinkyJuicyStar I dont own them but if I pick them up I will add them to my list to review!

  • could u do a review for the MAC fast response?

  • @msleo4 I have a review posted on that!

  • I was just going to ask where your ring is until I read the description box :) Great review and I agree- not worth the price.

  • i use benefits ooh la lift for that kind of thing i read people put it under their concealers i like to mix it with mine mac moisture select and the ooh la lift then put it in the inner corners of my eyes i

  • I don't wear my ring when I go to the beach (I don't want sunscreen & sand all over it) and sometimes whne I am in a hurry in the morning I forget it too. lol

  • @venturasummer she didnt forget it, she taped this video before she was enagaged

  • you are getting even more beautiful and beautiful in every video:)

  • love your makeup!1

  • i think the best use 4 this product is after wearing foundation .concealer and then the YSL , its not a must though

  • Lisa, this is totally off subject, but are you still using your LeAngelique curling iron? Are you having any problems with it? Thanks for this video.

  • @bb60605 yes i use it all teh time! I love love love it!

  • IT IS NOT A CONCEALER !!!!!

touche éclat means something like "brightening touch" in french

  • @junglemaze i'm pretty sure she says to use it b4 foundation & concealer, i dont think she ever said it was a concealer

  • @gisele84

    Hello

you should look at the first image ;)

    and in 0:51

what I don't understand if it's some one that gave her the product as she mentions at the biginning of the video " I was sent this product by a lovely subscriber" and then at the end she says "I won't repurchase it" english isn't my language so that's why...

anyhow I really like her videos ;)

  • @junglemaze she probably just slipped and said "i won't repurchase it" that probably out of habit. You know, sometimes you aren't really thinking and speaking out of habit, it happens. :) no mystery there!

  • @Tisiphone2

    thanks ;)

  • There a similar product by Rimmel

  • @LangburdF Awesome. Which one?

  • i don't understand why is it such a big deal she isn't wearing her ring maybe she forgot it! i take my mine off when i do my make up and hair!

  • Hi Lisa, can I ask your suggestion for a good primer? please

  • @memabige I will be doing a video on it soon! I like hourglass and sephora smoothing primer

  • thanks lisa , i love ur video & i watch it every day so informative !!!!

  • One of the best dupes of this is the Milani HD advanced concealer! The packaging is almost identical (comes in a gold click-pen) and it works really well and has a really nice salmon undertone. It's only about $7 at CVS :) I highly recommend it!

  • @ellamarie84 I find the Milani one to be better because it is actually a brighting concealer not just a highlighter! You can use it all over your face and it wont make your flaws look worse! I have been using the Milani one since it came out and I wish more people would know about it cause it is far better then Touche Eclat!!

  • do u think that YSL touch eclat works for GYM to just conceal my dark circles without having any makeup on?

  • @lizza11 NOPE! The reason why is cause its not a concealer! It is a highlighter and brightener! It isnt made to conceal at all it is made to brighten and disguse flaws that way which doesnt work too well for circles! It is good to use over a concealer if you want or below your circles but not over them it will make them look WAY WORSE! Try the Milani one! It conceals and brightens all in one concealer!! Milani HD Advanced concealer!

  • my eyes get terribly irritated to the point my eyes swell up and then all the skin under my eyes comes off. when asking I heard it is a pretty common complaint.

  • my eyes get terribly irritated to the point my eyes swell up and then all the skin under my eyes comes off. when I asked around I was informed that this is a pretty common complaint. Terrible products in my opinion, for me at least.

  • This item was* sent to me ;)

  • Can you do a updated makeup collection?

  • @rainingsunshine64 I do one every year in January!

  • Hi Lisa,

Oh wow, you did a review on it... Well, I'm so glad you like it and have use for it. It would have been a shame if you had to throw it away. Like I said, for some reason it turned ashy on me...

  • there are closer dupes, from milani, neutrogena, and boots 7-can you do a review/comparison on these?

  • @amycrista if I buy any I will be sure to do that!

  • i <3 this. it works amazing for me (:

  • how does this compare to smashbox photo-op under eye brightener?

  • @loveleppard the smashbox to me does not help lessen the dark circles

  • TY

I have had a feeling it is not worth the pri$e tag!

    xo

  • I love this product, when applied under a layer of concealer, it gives a great bright base so when the concealer goes on the concealer is true to color.

  • Can you do a review on a Laura Marcier Mineral Fundation please :)

  • @ewesiaaa I dont own it yet sorry!

  • @Lisasz09 how about Estee Lauder Maximum coverage foundation i heard it is beautiful!

  • I disagree - I love this product and Benefit eye bright it not nearly as good and I don't use it for the same things.

I use the ysl to do the triangel under my eyes and it lightens up my entire face! :D

    I LOVE IT!

  • love your hair!!! :-)

  • I forgot to say that the product starts to smell really bad after about two weeks.

  • Lisa - I bought this from QVC twice. It's called "toosh a-clah". :-) Anyway, it never did anything for me. They say "It's not a concealer, it's a brightener". For me, it's nothing. But Lisa Robertson (on QVC) swears by it. Go figure. :-)

  • thespnation made a video about this! You should watch it! It's good~!

  • I love your reviews Lisa! They are so helpful! Thanks

  • I dont think this is in fact NOT supposed to be used as a concealer, it is a highlighter does work as under eye area to brighten and therefore may not need much concelaer but it is not a concelear should not be used in blemishes for example it would only highlight the are :)

  • It's pronounced "tusj ekla".. hehe, kinda :-) great review btw, as always. Thank you so much for taking the time to test all these products, and for sharing your experience. It so helpful and I really appreciate it!! :-)

  • i LOVE that the ending of your videos sounds like something id hear on an answering machine :)

  • LOVE your shirt...Is it still available for sale and if so,,,,where can I purchase it...I LOVE IT.

  • @DownsAngel it is from ann taylor loft a few years ago!

  • You definitely need to try Clinique's air brush concealer! It is fabulous!

  • I need to say this cause your title is going to confuse some people! YSL Touche Eclat is NOT a concealer! It is meant to highlight and thats all! You may want to think of changing the title! I love this stuff! It is pricey but nice. I like the Milani HD Concealer wayyyy better cause it has the same brightening effect but it also conceals at the same time and is a quarter of the price so check that out if you are looking for something similar that conceals as well!!

  • @goldenappleoferis actually it is a concealer that's the original concept of this product however they recently doubled it as a highlighter but is a concealer :)

  • @kimmyt4 this is the EXACT what it is off the sephora website: A luminizing pen that brings light and radiance to the skin, immediately erases any signs of fatigue, and brightens the complexion. What it does is brighten to erase signs of fatigue but it will also bring attention to areas that you dont want to brighten as well there for it is NOT a concealer! I stand by that I am sorry! If you try to put it on a zit to "conceal" it will make it more noticeable!!

  • @goldenappleoferis yup it's not a concealer. It goes with the idea of 2 ways of hiding things - covering them (a good concealer) or using light deflecting pigments to brighten shadows so someone looking at you doesn't see them (that's why you'll see actresses on tv & in mags they are under very bright lightening - if you look very closely you might see lines). This item does the light reflecting way of hiding age & fatigue. It will make one shiny zit! lol

  • @Tisiphone2 thanks so much for the clarification! I wanted to say exactly what you did but my brain just isnt functioning right lately too much work not enough sleep LOL! So thanks a lot!!

  • what watch are you wearing? looks soo nice!!

  • @tommygirl83 I think it is a Michelle one

  • @Lisasz09 haha and i was looking for this review!!

  • i havent found THE concealer for me yet. my skin is too thin and very dry even the ladys that put concealer on me in the store say that. so its hard to find the right products. i m affrait the skin dryes out (-gets lazy producing its own moistre) if i use too rich eyecreams since i m still young. but i will try the clinic allabouteyes.

  • Hello Lisa, You can find the number on the 'clicker' part of the pen. Great review!

  • art deco has a similar product its approximately 12 Euro

  • revlon makes spa twist pencil and clinique's airbrushed concealer.

    i d never spend $40 on it

  • Where's your engagement ring in this video?

  • @MJLovesSunshine this was previously taped

  • @MJLovesSunshine how extremely creepy.

  • @OmgwtfwtfOmg oh i wasn't being creepy, i just noticed it.

  • Hey can you do a review of AVon Supershock mascara?

  • @wizzyren Sorry I dont own it but if I pick it up I will

  • @wizzyren

buy it its great , i love it more than mqax factor false lash eefect

  • It's yves saint laurent prounced eve San lauran drop the t :) and touché éclat is tooche e cla :L I learn French and am kinda an attention to detail freak :L sorry

  • it would be pronounced kinda like "touche ecla" haha anyways you dont pronounce the t at the end of éclat. :) I really love your reviews! thank you

  • Lisa you look so beautiful!

  • maybellines touche magique is pretty much the exact same thing at a fraction of the price!

  • Lol we can tell its pre recorded cause you're not wearing a ring :-p

Yah I got the CHANEL equivalent. Not necessary.

  • Wow, your skin is glowing!!! It always looks nice but it looks super healthy and radiant!

  • Thanks so much. That was sooo helpfull!

  • I aodre this products to be honest I have two and I really like how it conceals and brightens :)) I just invest my money in this and it lasts me like 1 -2 years :)
