Switerland has the best train system in the world, by far. And the alps is the most glorious mountain range. Actually in North America only the Canadian rockies and possibly Denali can compare in beauty, as the difference between valley and mountain is much more dramatic than in the Rockies or Sierra Nevada. Mont Blanc , Monte Rosa and Matterhorn isnt that much higher than Mt Elbert, Whitney, Blanca etc, but they seem more breathtaking. And trhe beauty of the valleys is undescribable.
