@Arbeta10000 i honestly didn't think anyone would wait. i am working on it, though, i hope i can share as soon as possible.. my process now takes a longer time though so bigger files, not sure how i can share it without speeding it up
Annyonweb.. Your getting good.. Your videos definately help me alot.. Mabe one day you can create a normal speed video with commentary on how you did some of your techniques becoz there are some of us just learning how to use photoshop. Keep up the good work and maybe you will land a job doing what you love.
@MitsuhideTheVagrant i don't remember really.. a couple of hours to do all the coloring.. i was really slow then, i hope i'll do a new drawing on vid after i finish exams 2 weeks from now
there are people on deviantart who sell textures and some give them to everyone. i got them from cloaks on DA, at least the ones used in this one. the brush textures are from giegie
Let's say I have a line drawing done in pencil, which is scanned and loaded into Photoshop. First of all, when zooming in on the lines, it's evident that they aren't 'smooth'- that they contain several hundred shades of black/gray, and are actually very choppy when looking at them in close. how would i smooth that out such as how your drawing started out in the first tutorial video
to make the line-art of a drawing from a pencil sketch, you use the pen tool in photoshop. you drag around lines over the sketch, in a new layer and you make them smooth and very exact which is what you want. send me a msg if you want to know more and i'll give you more info and tutorials ^_^
I'll give it a shot now.... but thank you so much! you are super dope! also if you could, could you post a short video showing how to do that in photoshop or illustrator whichever you use... it would be greatly appreciated but if not thank you so much for the info :)
ok so you know how when you first started your lines were super smooth ... how did you get your drawing like that? did you do anything to make the lines more bold and stand out thats my only problem
how do i get the lines to turn out smooth like that
too bad you didn't upload this with a higher rez, so we could see the details better, but nice done none the less!
