  • Notice that it didn't mention slavery...

  • @LukeWapelhorst And what is your point?

  • @RedShirtArmy

It proves RonPaulHatesBlacks is an idiot.

  • @LukeWapelhorst lol.. Yes, he is an idiot indeed.

  • @RedShirtArmy I don't know why you would say that,,, You agree with him on everything you've said on this particular link,,, well except for the part where RP is an idiot

  • @LukeWapelhorst I watched this thing four times in a row, I don't see a she of evidence for what you say it proves, perhaps you could point to the exact spot where this Proves Ron Paul thinks believes or is ANYTHING AT ALL

  • @smallfish1960

There is a Youtube troll that uses the name "RonPaulHatesBlacks" that does nothing but comment on videos saying that the Confederacy just wanted slavery and a bunch of other crap. I'm not talking about the actual Ron Paul.

  • I have the battle flag of Missouri on my wall.

  • Missouri never legally seceded. Only the state convention had the authority to vote for secession, and both times it voted against it. And all these people claiming Missouri is southern because their ancestors fought for the Confederacy...good for them...doesn't speak for the whole state nearly. Over 100,000 Missourians supported the Union. Some 40,000 supported the Confederacy. There is also no proof that the secession even complied with the law because no House journal exists.

  • F*ck the federal govt. and feed 'em beans , we gotta finish what our forefathers started . -JKM

  • IMPEACH OBAMAS BITCH ASS!

  • i love Missouri's Cross flag

  • i don't get it i live in indiana and i see lots of confederate flags im sure its the same in ohio illinois etc well why dont these people move south to texas and south carolina etc etc. then the numbers for secession in those states would rise then people in those states that did not want secession could move north everybody happy yet?

  • Amen and Amen. God bless Missouri. Deo Vindice

  • Vermont was a country once, looks as small as they are.

  • Most important is that missouri center on the production of food. The people of Missouri love growing food from the soil and have been given by God or fortune(take your pick) a great climate and rich soil and a lot of water.

  • Finally...someone shares the truth on what happened in Missouri prior to and just before the WBTS.. and why Missouri left the union... and CaptainRex, Redshirt is correct.. we COULD make it on our own.. easily.. we would just sign non agression compacts with sister states and establish a trade and flight routes up and down the Mississippi... as Redshirt stated we could be VERY prosperous.. and VERY free.. as the founding fathers intended..

  • RedShirtArmy.

I disagree that Missouri could secede and be a successful sovereign nation alone. I believe the MO would need other states, primarily heading south to LA for port, in order to allow for proper trade and commerce.

If MO was alone in secession, I could foresee an embargo from the neighboring states to starve MO of funds and commerce. However, if a block of states united with sea ports and large international airports, all seceding states could prosper.

  • Secession would not mean cutting off trade. Why would Wal-Mart close all of its stores in Missouri if Missouri seceded from the Union? Wal-Mart would still want to sell them sprinklers whether they were independent or part of the Union. And why would other states want to put an "embargo" on Missouri? If Lincoln had permitted the South to secede, Americans would have still been united by commerce, kinship, faith, culture, and history. Secession does not mean antaganoism and tribalism.

  • I dont wanna make anyone mad here. But i would think Missouri was too small to Sustain life as a Country. Texas for sure cuz we did it before and we can do it again.

  • MO has a larger population than Ireland - a very prosperous country now - and far more resources. In fact, MO is larger than about 1/4 of the nations of the world in population and in size ranks much higher than that. With open trade, tiny taxes and little regulation MO could be a very prosperous, peaceful land.

  • @RedShirtArmy Missouri is southern and my great great great grandaddy fought for the south in the 47th Missouri Rifles. Deo Vindice !!!

  • Missouri produces more food than most of the world combined.

  • Can you back up that statement?

  • well that was hyperbole. but missouri, iowa, Indiana ect. provide a very substantial amount of the worlds food.

  • They can come back together again with a new govt.

  • @CaptainRex42 btw missouri is the number two state in beef behind texas and number one in horses.

  • @stud915 and number 6 in cotten and number 3 in tobacco.

  • They NEVER talked about this in any school I went to in St. Louis. Thanks for the truth.

  • American by birth, Southern by the grace of God.

Thanks for keeping the truth alive.

  • Missouri is the only single state the federal govt. declared war on. This happened five months before Missouri seceded from the union.

  • Now that is something that i did not know, swampfoxgeneral! So the governemnt declared war o n Missouri, and it hadn't even suceeded (yet)? That's messed up.

  • i wish i was in the land of cotton

  • Lubbock, Texas is the city of cotton though.

  • Here's another reason to secede. We can control our own skies.

Keep an eye on this. If this happens in your area, be sure to save a large sample and get it tested.

  • Yes, God Bless the Southland and all who love her. Great post there. Fills me with sadness to see how perverted peoples idea of the reason for the War Between the States. Now people who were trying to do good are viewed as Racists and those who were truly Racists (Abraham Lincoln) are viewed as saviors.

  • Thanks for posting this my Confederate Brother.

    God Bless Missouri

    God Bless our Codfederacy

    God Save the South

  • I have a copy of the Missouri Ordinance of Secession hanging on the wall in my house. I'm proud of my Missouri Confederte Heritage.

  • The Washington Government is not our government.

It does not represent our People or up hold our American Laws.

It is a Foreign Government of a Foreign People.

The Anti-American Foreign Government in Washing D.C. (Devil in Carnate) must go!

It is either them or us.

For the sake of our Children, we must be Free of the Federal Beast!

    Deo Vindice!

  • Correction. I meant to say that i think all systems of goverment (ex,democracy, replublic, etc.) can be good or bad.

  • I don't think that a pure democracy can be good. Democracy is by definition half plus one ruling over half minus one. Theft and exploitation are the natural results of such a system. It basically comes down to which side can put together a bigger mob to 'legally' steal what the others have. This is a violation of the others' natural rights to their possessions.

  • @RedShirtArmy thats why we are a republic. btw you rock man!

  • @RedShirtArmy This country is not a democracy. It is republic unite states, but we are so far from what the founding father wanted.

  • Joseph565112, quite frankly I am offended. I have talked to you about all this before. Now, I am pro-secession in the sense that I believe it is a natural right of a people. However, as in any good democracy, you need to be skeptical and to ask a lot of questions before such an undertaking. Now, before any secession occurs in my State, I want these fundamental issues dealt with or at least largely dealt with. If not we may be worse off than those still under the FEDs.

  • There's no such thing as a 'good democracy.' Democracy is a horrible system of government that our ancestors hated and warned against. They believed instead in a very, very limited republic. There's a big difference.

  • Well, yes, a "Constitutional Republic" This system can only work, even modestly, in the represenative democracy system; the two are interrelated. They did indeed hate "direct democracy" both Federalists and Anti-Federalists (which are deceiving titles on their own) I submit there is actually no such thing as a perfect even really good government but so far represenative democracy is about as good as it gets, that's why the Southron Confederacy maintained it. What's the alternative?

  • I can't disagree with anything you wrote there.

  • Well, I wouldn't expect you too. That is why I was a bit confused when you said, "Democracy is a horrible system of government that our ancestors hated and warned against"

  • I think that all goverments can be good or bad.

  • I agree. We need be skeptical of ourselves so that we can prevent becoming what were fighting. Deo Vindice!

  • Alright RebelGuy, I see your point. I mean, yeah, a direct democracy is where 51% can tell 49% to go to hell, pretty much. However, *supposedly* in a "Constitutional Republic" utilizing Represenative Democracy, that 49% doesn't and can not just be swept under the rug. At least that is the way it is supposed to work.

  • So, RebelGuy95, I have spoken to you on other threads before and you seemed to be pro-secession. Now I am not so sure you are, are you?

  • Luigi, lol, I am sorry but "counties as the equivalent of the current states" Listen I truly see why secessionists today would want everything to just filter down, move down a notch if you will. However, that is beyond impractical and the implications in regards to impeding on the State's power (which it will need to make order out of the chaos of secession) are immense to say the least.

  • I disagree RebelGuy95. Yes, under the current system the counties are subdivisions of the sovereign States. However, if the States were freed from Federal rule and then in turn became despotic themselves, we would surely have the natural right to secede from them. Secession in the end is not really so much a constitutional issue as it is a natural rights and liberty issue. Governments get their powers from us - not the other way around.

  • Disagree? It isn't my thinking, it is merely what history has demonstrated about a direct democracy, it often if not always leads to Statism. I still do not quite understand how we will deal with the differences currently existing between the national government and the State legislature, if our legislature were to become "Federal" so-to-speak.

  • Again Luigi, what you seem to be proposing is more of a direct democracy, virtually all "great" direct democracies i.e. The Greek city States and the Romans etc degenerated into mob rule and ended up with aristocrats or just a pure dictatorship. Please, be careful of what you drag my beloved State of South Carolina into....

  • I'm proposing exactly the opposite. Rome was an empire not free. When Rome was free before it became empirical it was it's most prosperous. Unlimited secession is actually the opposite of mob rule. Minorities who disagree can infinitely leave. Mob rule iswhat we have now. The North and West rule over all of us. In a truly free society everyone is allowed to coexist peacefully with their own views and wants. The so called"civil war" is direct democracy in action. Lincoln and his mob vs the south.

  • We don't live in a direct democracy, luigi. We live in a representative democracy, which is a system that, in principle, works great. However, the flaw that arises is of course when the reps are bought and paid for by big business / special interests etc.

  • You keep missing what I am saying.

  • Beg pardon, meant represenative democracies still apart of the Empire.

  • I'm not sure I understand your question. Could you clarify, please?

  • Not to mention potential changes to the State (now national in the event of secession) Constitution. This is not representative democracy, rather it closely resembles a direct democracy which virtually every framer of the U.S. Constitution despised. When James Madison wrote about direct democracies in Federalist Paper No. 10 he had support from Jefferson, Hamilton etc; they all thought direct democracies would and will fail. How will we keep amend our State government to impede this possibility?

  • Well, I understand that the idea would be to have the State legislature simply absorb all the powers currently delegated to the federal Congress. However, there are fundamental differences in regards to how the citizens interact/participate in the State government (the apparent national government in the event of secession) in contrast with our actual current national government in D.C. Such as State initiatives and referendums, also where the people gather to vote directly on States law etc.

  • Well, I know that the States did indeed have the right to secede, despite popular belief; that is a totally different concept from State Nullification. However, say South Carolina leaves tomorrow and with the majority of her population's support. Well, how exactly would the State (now national) government be reorganized? I mean right now citizens participate in State initiatives and referendums but not at the national level. How, I wonder, would these be resolved?

  • the fed would just have a few empty seats in congress. The state government would be the equivalent of the fed with the counties as the equivalent of the current states. This would give the people an even greater voice,

  • Also, how would the new conflict between the old represenative democracy be over come/changed in the face of our current direct democracies working in the States still apart of the Empire?

  • Lol JohnMOverman, that's all I got to say. You've got some passion, I will give ya that.

  • True. Wish more folks had that fire. When we finally get going I don't believe we're going to be stopped.

  • Hey Redshirt..check out this song on here..I don't know these guys or anything..just thought you might enjoy this..Sittin up drinking with Robert E Lee- Rebel Son

  • Good song. I checked it out. They have a good song. Very rebellous.

  • Sorry about the bad language redshirt..I was drinking last night..but I mean what I said..I get worked up about this..feel free to delete the bad posts brother..

  • I understand man. Take it easy.

  • Missouri is just a bear in hibernation just wait till we all wake up

  • Be thankful Missourians, Kentucky, has occupied since 1861 and it's own state government has been in the federal's pocket since the end of the great Governor MacGoffin's term. But the Kentucky people are as Southern as they come, probably 80% of the trucks where I live carry our beloved Confederate flags, God Bless Missouri, Kentucky and the rest of the South.

  • If a New Confederate States of America is established, it better not join the UN. As far as I'm concerned any country that does that is already selling it's sovereignty as a free nation. Make sure that Dixie's sovereignty isn't for sale and shall never do the biding of any foreign nation, power or order. The United Nations is the new Tuetonic Order that oppressed Europe in the Middle Ages.

  • Oh we have been occupied since 1861..stand up and take our homeland back..we are Americans..REAL AMERICANS..nobody can stop us!!!

  • Beware of the wrath of the patient man.

  • Great history lesson palmetto. Thanks for sharing this, maybe it will open some eyes and minds.

I believe we Missourians will resist any invasion this regime is foolish enough to send here like we will resist hell itself, as they are one in the same!

    peace while possible my friend...

  • This despotic empire must be brought to its knees!!!

  • You know the Yankees read this and shiver..they wanna fight everyone but us...hahaha I love it!!!

  • Tell them about the 1st Missouri Redshirtarmy..woooooooo!!! We will get down!! We are ready!! *salute*

  • Thank you for this video very well done. Missouri is sometimes the forgotten state. Missouri was settled by Southerns and Germans. Many Rebel battle flags still fly here. The ordinance you read was very moving and you read it very well.

    Deo Vindice

  • I appreciate it kindly.. Take care.

  • Amen Mike..god bless you.

  • Long live the James Brothers!

  • Ask the yankees in Lawrence Kansas if Missouri is Confederate or not lol

  • very nice video RedShirt, if i'm not terribly mistaken Kentucky and Missouri are the only two Southern states to have a star on both the Confederate battle flag and the federal battle flag with Kentucky being the central star on the confederate flag. Do correct me if im wrong though, Deo Vindice!

  • that is correct. There were 11 Confederate States, but 13 stars on the battle flag, the two extra stars standing for Missouri and Kentucky

  • Quantrill! *

  • Quantill!

  • I was born in Arkansas, and have lived in Missouri my entire life, and you know how much this means to me..thank you.

  • I am a Missouri gal ;)

    Christina

  • thank you kindly. Thanks from all the people in Missouri. Deo Vindice

  • My pleasure. Thanks for watching. Take care and stay strong.

  • Great vid. Most people don't realize that each state individually left and resumed there postiion as independent republics before agreeing to join. Texas was a republic for 1 month before joining.

  • Thanks for the support, Luigi.

  • no problem bro. Always glad to support a fellow southron and patriot. I found a ron paul video he did today that points out very plainly how the economic situation can't get any better with the continued federal spending, and why the fed will never cut spending in order to fix the situation. Planning on upping it tomorrow. The time for our confederacy's revival is coming. Jeff Davis was a wise man with his stating that our cause would reappear in the future.

  • For all y'all in Missouri - finally got around to putting a video together for y'all as promised. Stay strong and Deo Vindice
