i think speeding up the pace for you works with your voice, you don't try and hit notes you know you can't hit.

Here are the chords I used, they are relative to capo on 3rd fret verse/chorus (on chorus 1st chord is 024030, and on all the other chords you can play the open high e) 0240xx x3003x 3x003x 2x003x pre chorus x02010 x32010 x54030 He also throws in some hammerons/pulloffs, I'm sure you can pick it up just listening to the recording
