you can buy TOMS style shoes in Argentina for 3 bucks. and they really don't last that long. buuuuuut it's for a good cause, so buy a guaranteed piece of shit and help a kid get a pair of shoes that will probably last them only a couple of months.

don't know why I can't post links on here. It's on Tom's website, under FAQ. Intertek, the company they use to monitor work conditions in the factories has been in countless scandals for certifying factories which beat and detail workers. Also for importing 5000 tons of poisoned maize into Kenya earlier this year.
