Boomerang & The Hub aren't widely available. I wish the networks would have retro Saturdays. Their line up is awful. The remakes are terrible, and the new stuff is just a disappointment. Fans should not be apathetic & write in continually to these networks requesting retro shows back in certain timed blocks. My Nephews love my 80s DVDs and stream 80s toons on Netflix. TV Land & Cartoon Newtwork could have a 80s Saturday. They're more available than The Hub or Boomerang. Write in when yer bored.
I used to get up at 7 a.m. to watch G.I. Joe and watch cartoons from ABC, NBC, CBS and USA until about 12:00 every saturday!! God I miss those days, I want them back!!
@twillia76 i used to do that to but in the 2000's because the only channel's that were
showing cartoons on saturday morning was abc family, fox, abc, and WB(fox, abc family, and wb were showing new saturday morning cartoons. cant remember abc
and i think others were doing it, but i cant remember
When they used to show Pee Wee's on Adult Swim it always woke me up every time they had the word of the day. I always had to watch the rest of the episode though after that.
I never forgot about The Californian Raisins. I remember them since my parents would always get me a little box of them for me to eat. They tasted good and were good for me.
Slammin'. On CBS! With Dink the Little Dinosaur-you sure! The California Raisins. Where the kids rock n' roll. The Muppet Babies-yeah, what! Pee-wee's Playhouse-come on over! And Garfield and Friends-ba ba ba ba ba ba ba!
LET ME GO BACK IN TIME DAMN IT!!!

Nowadays it's called Cookie Jar TV. Decent if you had kids, but I'd rather watch shows from this era, or new versions of classic shows instead.

CBS was the Powerhouse of Saturday Mornings in the late 80s.

That was actually a pretty solid lineup, strong enough to keep me from the comparatively lackluster offerings of ABC and NBC.

@NitekMuscle What was wrong with the Chipmunks?

@corrupt200 I watched Alvin and the Gang from time to time, but they weren't a destination show like Garfield or even Alf.
