I'm a fan, but does she ever do a different beam and floor routine? I know gymnasts repeat their routines a few times, but I never see her do anything new.
She does look more graceful. She is getting better. Her skills are fantastic, but the composition of this routine could improve a lot. I hate when gymnasts go down to any time of seated position on the beam without at least doing some type of strength or flexibility skill. She just goes down and gets back up again. zzzz boring
I love Sam, it looks like she has grown a little bit and maybe that is why she looks more graceful - her lines are that bit longer. It's a shame about the gainer. She looks confounded afterward, talking to her coach - just one of those random falls! Everything else looked great. Love her (new?) aerial.
i think you're right. it's probably based on more confidence, which leads to more fluidity in the routine. A similar transformation happened with Alicia Sacramone too...she gained confidence and thus more grace on beam.

Well at least she lost a little weight since last summer... she was kind of a porker last year! She got some wide hips for sure... bigger than brandy johnson.
Sam looks amazing. I think she's the one to watch this time around. I always saw a little bit of Alicia Sacramone in her and I have a feeling she's going to be an amazing asset to the team.

She was looking great right until that fall! I read somewhere that she was talking to Mihai(I think) right afterwards, and she said it felt like someone moved the beam out from under her while she was flipping. Haha. Love her.
