How can Muslims claim that the Qran came to restore the beliefs of the Gospel if the same Gospel warned that whoever preached a different Gospel from what the apostles preached, should be anathema (accursed).

The apostles even said that if anyone preached a different message, even if it was an angel, we should not listen to such message. The problem is that you think that the Bible you have today is some original revelation, which is not. Even Christian scholars will tell you that. God's word was always preserved with coming of a new prophet after people changed what was revealed before. Bible will confirm you that if you read it.

If you take the 66 books of the Bible, which were written by many different writers (about 40 writers) in several different frames of history, you will see that they all have a common ground on their beliefs. They all have the same message and the original text is still available nowadays.

@nctrio7791 There were about 40 writers of the Bible (not exactly because some of them were anonymous), but Moses, who was the 1st writer didn't even know John, who wrote Revelations. Theses writers did not live in the same time and did not know each other, and AMAZINGLY inspired by God, they all have the same message. Also, these books had prophecies, promises and miracles of God seen by millions of people. Like I said. Either all these books are from the true God or only the Qran is from God.

The Catholics Bible had some books added, that's why I believe in the original. If a prophet keeps coming with a new Gospel, there will be no order. @nctrio7791 In the OT for example, Isaiah 53 describes the crucifixion of Jesus way before Jesus was actually crucified. It actually describes the atonement of the Messiah.
Mohammed denies that truth, he said that Jesus only went up to heaven, but was not killed and resurrected, but the whole point of Jesus coming to this earth was that He could die for our sins.

All the apostles confirmed that Paul's conversion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ was real and Peter even confirmed that his writings were guidance to the followers of Jesus.

There are many issues with the Bible but I still believe that Muslims respect the Bible than many Christians respect the Quran. If it was not for Barnabbas Paul would have a very hard time to be accepted. Many of his teachings are opposite to what Jesus (pbuh) said while he was on this earth.

He was offered everything by Pagans to abandon his mission, At that time he had no large following group, he had no resources, and basicly he had nothing except God. As for Paul's writtings the same can be said for four Gospels. We do not even know who wrote those Gospels. @jgallete As for your info Muslims also believe in all previous revelation but in their original form. Your Christian scholars will tell you that you do not have originals. Originals mean scriptures in original language spoken by prophets that received that revelation. The Catholic Bible has 7 extra book but I think that Protestants removed those 7 books out of their version of the Bible. Our belief that Muhammad (pbuh) is the last and final messenger is based on the Quran and his own words.
@nctrio7791 - Actually, the Catholic Church added these books many years later. As an orthodox christian I'd rather stick with the original books that the apostles from the primitive church (who were jews) used.
@jgallete There are some people who tried to do some changes in traditional Muslim belief based on the Quran and Sunnah like Ahmadiyyas from India and Submitters from the USA. So it is nothing new. But as a Muslim who knows what the Quran and Prophet (pbuh) said I cannot accept another prophet as true. In Islam we have all prophets mentioned in the Bible. Jews do not accept Jesus and Muhammad, and I think John the Baptist, and Christians do not accept Muhammad (pbuh).

We have to hear what they say and compare what it's been said to the Gospel preached by the apostles. If it's not the same, even if it's an angel from heaven or even if it's our own christian leaders (Paul said that even if them, the apostles), we should not pay attention to it and it does not and cannot come from God.

Somethings are different and you can see that even when you read the Bible. All prophets came from same God but many things were different. However, the message was alwys the same; Belief in one God.

God is manifested in three ways in the old and new testament, but God is not a man, neither an angel. The angel and the man are creation. God is the substance and origin of all things.

Theses writers did not live in the same time and did not know each other, and AMAZINGLY inspired by God, they all have the same message. Also, these books had prophecies, promises and miracles of God seen by millions of people. Like I said. Either all these books are from the true God or only the Qran is from God.
