I take your word. I love the Triple. Actually bought a JVM 210H and it's great for Slayer, Kreator, etc. I had both JCM800 2203 and Kerry King's, but prefer the JVM.

I prefer the Rectos. I have a Triple but thinking of trading on a Dual. Mark V... I think they're OK. Even though people say Metallica used the Mark amps, I doubt it. The sound is of a Rectifier.

@dekzan dude they used mark 2c+ on master ofpuppets right up till black album where they combined it with a mark iv hetfield has never used a recto live only in the tuning room the rectos you see on stage , stanger era are dummys !

kirk uses a rack dual rec combined with his randall head these days thats is !

i have owned an old trip rec a mark v and a 2010 dual rec the rectifiers are shit and is not metallica tone !

the mark v is where its at. i sold em all for a diezel vh4 :):):):)

I'm stuck between Mark V and Dual Rectifier. I like to play metal and mostly Metallica. So which amp is better for playing the Master of Puppets stuff? I know they used Mark IIC+ back then, but is there a lot of difference between Mark and Rectifier? I don't have money for Mark V. I have a Marshall JCM800, but it's not going anywhere :) And can I get Mark sounds through my Marshall if I just buy a Triaxis? Like, is it the same that I would buy a Mark?

@Calaghi a engl screamer is very good too. So are carvin legacy, but more expensive. i own one and i can play metallica perfectly in it with a squier!!! So if you have a prs or something, it will give a ultra metallica sound xD.
