i think getting your kayak there is the least of the problems... I would aver that dodging the Pakistani and later, once you've entered the Kisanganga (Neelam) river, the Indian bullets might prove more challenging than the river itself... there is an account of my last experience following an attempt to revisit this spot on my web site blog... you will though need to scroll a bit down to find it... phasm.co.uk/the-lunar-blog/the­ological-anarchism.html

yes for someone inexperienced this could be very dangerous but it does look runnable. the holes do look a little sticky and i would watch the cave on river right, but i have seen people run way worse.

ahh... now don't i wish i could show you more of this river (the Saraswati or Sorgun) and of the river it flows into (the Kisanganga or Neelam) .. not only is there over 200km of white water that drops over 1km but it is the most stunning valley of Kashmir, a place the phrase "MASHALLAH!' has meaning and the only river I have seen that flows uphill! (yes I have film of a river flowing in two directions at once! at precisely the centre of the beaty that is SHARDA!

It is class V whitewater but I dont see anything more dangerous than other rivers around the world... Just a class V run. that is all. You seem to have little to no knowledge about whitewater so I wouldnt correct people commenting on your video if I were you!

Runnable. Not by me, but runnable. You could stay out of that cave for sure, and the last hole is the only one that looks super grabby, and there is nothing below it, so you could just surf it out. the drop at the top might be muchy, but you can't see it very well from this angle.

yea, when first looking at that middle whole and the cave it is a bit dodgy but I agree, the cave is easily avoidable, and it appears that you would have enough speed to punch that whole without too much hassle.

this short clip is from the Neelam Valley of Pakistan administered Kashmir.
